Glossary of Tourist Terms

CUSTOMS: Administration in charge of registering the import and export of goods and merchandise, as well as receiving the corresponding
fees.

members that make up the tourism sector and those who are directly related to it, are engaged in doing things well to the first, with the
satisfaction of being useful to their peers and considers that for quality to be total, it must be present in all processes within the company
and in all its areas and in all public and social organizations that participate in the activity, since all of them are, at the end of the day,
elements that are linked in a continuous sequence of suppliers and consumers of tourist and recreational services and satisfactors.
DEFICIT: In commerce, discovered that results by comparing the credit or cash flow; existing with the fund or capital placed in the company.

of a place to tourists.
GUEST: Person who uses accommodation services in an establishment.

TOURISM LOCATION: Set of physical elements, economic and human factors that make it possible to exploit a basic resource that serve
to attract and frequent tourists with an index of profitability.
TOURISM INFORMATION MANUAL: Edition with cataloging criteria destined almost exclusively to the professional. Contains information
on border formalities, border, schedule, rates, etc.
TOURIST MARKETING: Set of techniques related to the transfer and tourist services of the product to the consumer. It constitutes the

office, water, gas and electricity.
TOURIST SERVICE: Adequate organization and specialized personnel designed to meet the needs and desires of tourists.
SOUVENIR: Garment or souvenir item of a trip.
RATES: Table or catalog of prices, duties or taxes of a service to be rendered (hotel rates, air fares).
HIGH SEASON: Time of year when the tourist movement reaches the maximum proportion.

a certain time.

the full capacity of the plane.
