MINUTES OF MEETING

Subject: HOMEROOM PTA MEETING

Venue: CLASSROOM (10-GREEN)
Date: JUNE 23, 2017
Time Started: 7:45 am
Time Ended: 9:00 am

Agenda:

1. Monitoring of cutting classes and absences

2. Wearing school uniform

-The meeting started at exactly 7:45 in the morning in 10-GREEN room and was attended by 30 parents.

-It was agreed that parents must monitor the attendance of their students regularly. The adviser give
her number to the parents in order to monitor the attendance of their children. So, do with the parents
they write their contact numbers so that whenever their student/s is/are absent, the adviser can easily
text or call the parents.

-It was also agreed that students must wear complete uniform everyday. But if in case they cannot wear
complete uniform, white plain t-shirt is suggested. No wearing of colored t-shirt should be worn during
class hours.

-In terms of t-shirt printing, the parents also agreed to send two white t-shirts for logo printing. The
printing is sponsored by GPTA for free.

-The election of officers followed immediately. And these are the following HPTA Officers of SY: 2017 –
2018:

Treasurer: ILAGAN,EVANGELINE

-The parents suggested that the HPTA Project for this year will be THE CLASSROOM CURTAIN. The
parents see the urgency of this matter so they decided to pay 50 PESOS.

-For sinking fund (Christmas party), It was agreed that every day the students will pay 1 peso for
Christmas party. The purpose of this program is for the students not to pay anymore during Christmas
party and 1 peso a day is very manageable in their budget.

-For other matters, It was agreed that every 3 months the students will submit 1 floor wax in order to
maintain the cleanliness and beautification the classroom.

-The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 in the morning.

Subject: 2ND GENERAL ASSEMBLY & INDUCTION CEREMONY

Venue: KANANGA MUNICIPAL GYMNASIUM
Date: JULY 28, 2017

1. State of the School Address
2. Induction of New GPTA Officers
3. Induction of New HPTA Officers

-The meeting started at 9: 00 in the morning conducted by the out-going GPTA Officers.
-The principal gave his state of the school address

-the out-going GPTA president also gave his message

-It was then followed by the induction of new sets of GPTA Officers and after that the induction of the
HPTA Officers per grade level.

-The assembly and induction ceremony ended at 12:15 in the afternoon.

Subject: 1ST CARD – OUT, RECOGNITION & PORTFOLIO DAY

Venue: KANANGA COVERED COURT & CLASSROOM
Date: AUGUST 26, 2017
Time Started: 9:00 am
Time Ended: 11:30 am

Agenda:

1. Portfolio day
2. Classroom Recognition
3. Card-out

-the meeting had started at 9:00 in the morning

-it started with a short program in the covered court wherein parents can see the outputs around. The
displays were placed by year level. Not just the outputs but there also students who showcase their
talents and skills. Each year level must exhibit the best outputs per subject. The purpose of this was to
showcase the talents and skills of their children.

-Right after the short program, the parents immediately proceed to each classroom for the recognition
and card-out.

In the classroom, these are the following agenda:

1. Wearing of school uniform and ID

2. Proper hair cut for males and wearing of earrings (males)
3. Contributions:
a. HPTA Project
b. GPTA Contribution (500.00)
c. Sinking Fund
d. Floor wax
4. Recognition
5. Card-out

-The adviser reminded the parents on the cutting classes and absences of their students. Also with the
wearing of school uniform and ID. The male students should observe proper haircut and no earrings
should be worn. She also included the wearing of shoe rags upon entering the building.

-the adviser reminded the different contributions (GPTA, HPTA, Sinking fund and 1 floor `wax for June –
August)

-There was no recognition being done due to incomplete grades of the students. The adviser will make
sure that during the second grading, there will be classroom recognition.
-after the reminders, follows the card release. It was clarified that the card should not be brought to
one’s house. And that parents will only copy the grades of their children and sign the parents’ portion in
the card.

-the meeting was adjourned at 11:30 in the morning.
