I. RESEARCH PROJECT / STUDY TITLE:

Online Enrollment System (OES)

II. RESEARCH TOPIC AREAS:

The research project would utilize the ever expanding capabilities of the
Internet in order to serve as a replacement of our paper-based enrollment
system. Database technology will also be found within our project as it will be
use for data storage.

III. BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

The Paper based enrollment system has been implemented since the time of
dawn. It is proven effective and has been the default in all schools. But as we
enter the modern age everything is digital. Books, grades, news etc.
everything is digital. Not only convenient also effective.

IV. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:

The general problem is how time consuming the paper based system is;
Falling-in line for hours, availability of rooms, humidity and heat, and
inconveniency of lost important files. Us students, are very familiar how
hassle it can get and staffs may relate on how hard keep to records of
students.

V. SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY:

The project would benefit not only our school but also us, saving us a lot of
time and making our school more efficient and convenient. The school itself
could use the said system to make work more efficient and create hassle-free
environment.
 VI. SCOPE AND DELIMITATION:

For the purpose of the research project, the system would cover the adding,
manipulation, and storage of data and information regarding the students
from the school. For additional functions, the system would also include an
online payment.
