-Received thank you from NYC Central Labor Rehab Council

-Approved ½ page ad for NYS AFL-CIO Annual Labor Celebration, $250.00.

TREASURER'S REPORT- Accepted as read.

BUSINESS MANAGER'S REPORT:

CBS
-Met with management and a representative from Guiding Light to discuss future of
show.

WCBS
-Met with management to discuss various issues.

SONY/BMG
-Met with the company to discuss several issues.
MADISON SQUARE GARDEN
-Met with negotiating committee to discuss arbitration and other outstanding issues.
-Met with management to discuss various issues.
-Met with members and attorney for arbitration preparation.

WNJU Telemundo
-Met with negotiating committee to discuss proposals.
-Company cancelled six (6) negotiating sessions.
-Met with Company to discuss upcoming layoffs.
-Met with shop members to discuss negotiations and layoffs.

HBO
-Met with management to discuss various issues.

UN/VSG
-Met with management to discuss several issues.

Tele-Measurements
-Met with shop to discuss negotiations.
-Walked out of meeting with management when they attempted to discuss illegal issues.
-Filed Unfair Labor Practice Charge with the NLRB. Company admitted guilt and agreed
to posting of admission to charges.
-Met with Company to discuss going forward with negotiations.
-Held shop meeting.

OFFICE
-Attended IBEW Political and Legislative Affairs Conference.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

Meeting called to order at 4:30 PM

Reading of Executive Board minutes and last month’s General meeting minutes waived.

Union Health & Welfare:

Anthony Cucurullo, retired CBS member and former V.P. and President of Local 1212 passed
away last month.

New Business:

Mark DeGennaro of WPIX came to the meeting with a proposal to assist shops and members
with problems at place of work.

-Met several times with management to discuss issues related to the studio closing.

-Met with management to discuss grievances and upcoming arbitration.
-Met with several members to discuss grievances and arbitration.

-Negotiation dates have been set.

HBO
-Met with management to discuss various issues.

PVI
-Contract negotiations ended with a final proposal from company. Shop meeting to follow.

UN/VSG
-Met with management to discuss many outstanding issues.

WXTV

-Business Reps held shop meeting to discuss various issues.

-Arbitration pending.

Tele-Measurements
-Met with members, 3rd District Rep and company to discuss contract. Unfair Labor
Practice Charge filed.

OFFICE
-Met with outside attorney and members of the UN Staff union.
-Attended annual meeting of the IBEW Disaster Fund NYC
-Attended NYC Central Labor Council meeting.
