CSA HVTECK CU 3/C 320 TR-XLPE TS PVC AIA PVC 25KV 133%
PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
Southwire's 25kV HVTECK is a CSA approved armoured cable for industrial and commercial medium voltage applications. FT4, -40C, HL and 90°C rated for use in harsh Canadian
environments. Rated for installation in cable trays, duct banks, direct burial, troughs, continuous rigid cable supports, and concrete encaseable.

CONSTRUCTION
Conductor: • Phase identification as per ICEA Method 3, using printed Armour:
• Class B stranded copper circuit numbers • Aluminum Interlocked Armour (AIA)
- compressed or compact • Meets requirement of ICEA, but built to CSA standards • Optional Galvanized Steel Interlocked Armour (GSIA)
- in accordance with ASTM B3 and ASTM B8 Copper Tape Shield: Overall Jacket:
• Optional Class B compact stranded 8000 Series Aluminum ACM • Helically wrapped 5 mil copper tape with 25% overlap • Black PVC (optional colours available)
Conductor Shield: • Thickness:
Grounding Conductor:
• Extruded semi-conducting thermosetting polymeric layer • Class B stranded bare copper - No. 1 AWG = 0.075 inches (1.9 mm)
Insulation: - compressed or compact - No. 1/0 AWG to 500 kcmil = 0.085 inches (2.2 mm)
• TR-XLPE (Tree Retardant Cross Linked Polyethylene) - in accordance with ASTM B3 and ASTM B8 Print Legend:
