Production & Ad Submission:

 There is no extra charge for color or ad design services
 RGB (red, green black) or CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black)
 Ads must be high quality – 300 dpi and true to size
 JPEGs, Tiff are acceptable but PDF format is desired
 Layout and design services are available to advertisers at no additional charge for ads published in the
Calaveras Enterprise, Sierra Lodestar or Calaverasenterprise.com.

Proofs:
Advertisers will receive ad proofs to check for errors prior to printing. Credit adjustments may be made for
errors in final copy within the discretion of the publisher. Calaveras First, Co., will not be liable for any damage
resulting from the omission of all or any portion of an advertisement, or any error in the final copy when it
runs as approved by customer.

Circulation:
 Calaveras Enterprise: 4,000 paid circulation.
 Sierra Lodestar, Health Guides & Best of Mother Lode: 15,000 (5,000 distributed in each county of
Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne counties.

Demographics:

Calaveras County has a population of 44,787 people with a median age of 51.2 and a median household
income of $53,502. Between 2015 and 2016 population stayed roughly the same with median household
income growing .51%. The median property value in the county is $259,000 . The home ownership rate is 77%
with two cars per household.

Changes in Advertising Rates:

With 30 days written notice to the advertiser, the publisher may revise advertising rates. All space
reservations and/or agreements are subject to this notice.

For inserts, Calaveras First offers frequency discounts rather than annual sales volume discounts.

You can choose to insert in the Enterprise or the Lodestar or both. When you buy an insert in the Sierra
Lodestar it can be distributed to all three counties (Tuolumne, Calaveras and Amador) or only one or two as
your needs dictate. Insert customers are responsible for creating and printing their inserts and getting them
to the printer within the applicable deadlines..

The size of the insert can vary from postcard size to Tabloid size – any size that can fit into the Calaveras
Enterprise and/or Sierra Lodestar.

Each special Health Guide Magazine is distributed through racks

and business locations for 6 months and reaches an estimated 150,000
health, wellness and medical consumers in the Mother Lode through
print and online across Calaveras, Amador and Tuolumne Counties. A total
of 15,000 copies are distributed throughout the tri-county area where the
Sierra Lodestar is available. Other distribution includes hospitals, waiting
rooms, and dental offices in all three counties!

Best of the Mother Lode. More than 15,000 copies are published in
the first quarter of each year and remain available on racks and in
businesses for one year. The Best of the Mother Lode annual issue
reports the results of balloting in all three counties covered by the
Lodestar (Amador, Calaveras & Tuolumne) and includes what readers
vote as the best in categories such as best Casino, best Cinema, best
Live Theater, best medical center, best customer service – and a wide
range of other categories. For both visitors and local readers, it has
