Responsibilities: Gained hands-on teaching experience as part of the requirements for
English 605: Teaching Creative Writing with Professor Jill Christman; Collaborated with
classmates to teach units on the craft, terminology, and techniques of multiple genres;
Designed a teaching portfolio for a 300-level creative nonfiction course, complete with
syllabus, calendar, readings, and daily lesson plans.

Responsibilities: Consulted with undergraduate and graduate students on various
writing projects (both in-person and online using Google Docs and Skype) to develop their
writing skills; Performed administrative duties at welcome desk by answering phones,
keeping records, and scheduling clients’ appointments using WCOnline and Google Drive;
