CAN'T SACRIFICE THE TRUTH AT THE ALTAR OF UNITY.

By Watchman Dean
(c) Jeffrey Dean 2018

INTRODUCTION:
Unity is the watchword of this darkened hour, but not at the expense of the truth of Y'shua
Messiah, that he is RISEN, and that it is by his resurrection (not just his death) that your sins are
"taken away."

Your ability to do "the works of the Christ (which were the works of the Father), or even greater
works" is forever hinged upon your obedience to HIS SON and upon your FOLLOWING and
"HEARING" his Beloved Son. This ability is the SAVING GRACE of his people! Your SALVATION
comes, therefore through Christ's LIFE (resurrection) and not through his death alone.

Am I saying that salvation is not through his death? God forbid, for only by his death could he be
resurrected from the dead. What I am saying is it's not just HIS DEATH that saves you, but his
resurrection.

For Christ said "you shall do greater works than me... BECAUSE I GO TO THE FATHER"
(Resurrection).

Christians have abandoned this truth for a lie, that it is "The power of the cross" (his death) that
saves them.

IT is the POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION that saves you, not the "power of his death."

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings,
being made conformable unto his death; (Philippians 3: 10)

If anything should be the symbol of Christ's POWER it should not be the instrument of his DEATH,
but the POWER of an empty tomb!

We don't serve a dead Christ, he is RISEN and now sits at the right hand of the Father, Why
should he make intercession for you if you don't follow him?

I hope this scares the devil out of you.

TO BEGIN:

"Unity cannot be purchased at the expense of the truth."

"A little Leaven, Leavens the whole lump of dough."

Just a tiny lie can forever poison the whole DOCTRINE.

I can give you a perfect example of this in the way of a Christian Song I once heard. The entire
message of the song was truth, except two words, which completely destroyed the message.

"Dream Small.
By Josh Wilson.

It's a momma singing songs about the Lord

It's a daddy spending family time
That the world said he cannot afford
These simple moments change the world

It's a pastor at a tiny little Church

Forty years of loving on the broken and the hurt
These simple moments change the world

Dream small
Don't bother like you've gotta do it all
Just let Jesus use you where you are
One day at a time

Live well
Loving God and others as yourself
Find little ways where only you can help
With His great love
A tiny rock can make a giant fall

Dream small

It's visiting the widow down the street

Or dancing on a Friday with your friend with special needs
These simple moments change the world
Of course, there's nothing wrong with bigger dreams

Just don't… "

Is this the message of Christ? Everything in it is except "Dream Small." Let's take a look at some
of what Christ said.

Matthew 17: 20

20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith
as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and
it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

So, is it the "dream" that is small or is it the amount of faith required to do really BIG things and
make really BIG dreams come true?

Christ said a small AMOUNT of faith can move MOUNTAINS and a mountain is BIG! So the
dream is BIG, it's the apprehension of failing that should be "small." One who dreams "small" is
not expecting to accomplish much, but one who follows Christ and dreams BIG is expecting,
through faith, that Christ's word will make good on the promises they contain!

So, how did they get it all right but then not see that the dream is BIG (not small)?

Because Christians are taught from infancy to "dream small" and not to expect too much of
themselves or others. They are taught that they will never really overcome sin in this life so they
need to keep their expectations as low as possible as to what is going to happen unto them.

Wow!

How is this even remotely the Doctrine of Christ? It's the exact opposite.

The author meant well, but he is stumbling in the dark and those who follow him and listen are
stumbling with him.

Christ has said, through the Spirit, and by his Holy written words, that you cannot sacrifice
TRUTH (not even a little) for the sake of being unified in your message. For this would be "false
unity" bought at the expense of victory.

God is not going to care what religion you follow, in the end. The only thing he will be looking at
is were you following his SON and loving as HE loved?

Remember that you wicked sinners who say that you can follow Christ while continuing to sin!

There comes a day when God asks you to put your money where your mouth is and if you
cannot deliver, you will be in no wise praised with "well done faithful servant" (for you are not)
and no amount of religion can hide your disobedience from our Father who loves us and wants
the best for us.

Christ stated that his plan would be to get us following HIM and then watch the unity follow.
This will be TRUE unity, for we shall all be in unison in our goal, to achieve the greatness he
achieved ("and even greater works shall he do" he said, "because I go to the Father.").

Great works and Christlikeness are only possible "because he went to the Father." He ROSE from
the dead and ascended to the Father and in doing this made our Salvation possible and made it
possible for us to be JUST LIKE HIM and even "do greater things."

Think small?

I think not!

You're not serving a DEAD Christ, he is RISEN and we serve a LIVING Christ who sits now at the
right hand of God making intercessions for us, true, but this was for the purpose that we would
FOLLOW HIM, if we don't do that, why should he make intercession?

This is why we must believe in the RESURRECTION (not just the death) or we are "yet in our
sins."

1 Corinthians 15:

And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised
up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

I hope I have not scared you.

I take that back, if you aren't following Christ I hope I scared the devil right out of you!
