FOR YOUR ENTIRE ELECTRICAL NEEDS
Mission :
• To upgrade Indian technology by providing every engineer a clear career path to
work efficiently for the prosperity, happiness and sustainable development of the
country.
Values :
• Be polite and authentic to customer.
• We deliver our promise
• Don.t sale a service or product, we give best solution to your need.
WHY IT’S PEAK TIME TO GO SOLAR
• According to WHO 14 of world's 20 most polluted cities are in
India.
• India has the world largest numbers of deaths due to pollution.
• Almost 44% of school children had reduced lung function.
• Staggering 6 million asthma attacks per year in just the city of
Delhi.
• More than 25 % of air pollution is contributed through power
generation.
• About 60 % of the electricity generation in India is through
coal which generates 1.12 kg/ unit CO2 emission.
SOLAR POWER REVOLUTION IN INDIA
• WE the Citizen of India will be glad to know that our country is
effectively working on solar energy as to become a power surplus
country and pollution free under The Jawaharlal Nehru National
Solar Mission, also known as the National Solar Mission
• Inaugurated by former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on 11
January 2010 with a target of 20GW by 2022 which was later
increased to 100 GW by Mr. Narendra Modi government in the 2015
Union budget of India.
INDIA IS ENDORSED WITH VAST SOLAR ENERGY
• The techno-commercial potential of photovoltaics in India is enormous.
• Most parts of India have 300 – 330 sunny days in a year, which is equivalent to
over 5000 trillion kWh per year
• Average solar incidence stands at a robust 4 – 7 kWh/sq.meter/day.
• Accordingly 1 kw plant can give on an average 5 units a day,
5x 300 days = 1500 units
5 x 330 days = 1650 units per annum.
• Area required to install 1 kw is 100 sq Feet
IRRADIANCE IN INDIA
TYPES OF SOLAR POWER PLANT
ON-GRID SOLAR POWER PLANT
• It
requires the least amount of
maintenance
• It is less expensive compared to
off-rid-tied as No battery
backup systems
• Grid-direct systems have a
higher efficiency
• Extra energy is exchanged with
the utility grid
OFF – GRID SOLAR POWER PLANT
• Independence from the utility grid
• Rate increases, blackouts, or
brownouts do not apply
• In remote areas, it is cost effective
than extending a grid
• Rate increases, blackouts, or
brownouts do not apply
• Batteries require maintenance and
has limited life
HYBRID SOLAR POWER PLANT
• Grid-tied-with-battery-backup
• Designated loads have power
when the grid goes down
• Batteries require maintenance
• If the system produces more than
the home needs, then the extra
energy is sold back to the utility
BENEFITS OF SOLAR ENERGY
ENVIRONMENTAL
• It is clean and green
• By using solar energy we can reduce our dependency on fossil fuels.
• Solar energy is renewable and you would never run out of it, unlike non-
renewable sources
• Noise free – there is no sound made by photovoltaic cells in converting solar
energy into electricity
• It eliminates the need to burn coal which become highly beneficial for the
environment
• INSTALLING 1 KW OF SOLAR POWER PLANT IS EQUAL TO PLANTING 20 TREES.
ECONOMICAL BENEFITS
• Low maintenance
• One time installation then get free energy for more than 25 years.
• Reduce electrical energy bills.
• Payback period is of less than 5 years.
• Get paid for the excess energy generated through Net metering
policy.
• Long term energy security compared to generator set.
SOLAR PLANT ROI CALCULATION
• Let’s take 50kw plant. • Estimated plant value. = 21,75,000
• Irradiance = 5 Unit / sqmtr / day Note : It’s just an approximate price, it may
vary according to site and material price.
• Daily unit consumption 250 units
Approx. • ROI = Total Cost / electricity bill per year
• Rs. 21,75,000 / 6,00,000 = 3.625 Year
• We take 300 sunny days in a year
• We Take 5 year
• Commercial electricity price Rs. 8
• Still we have 20 years with free energy
• 250 x 300 x 8 = RS 6,00,000/ Yr.
