What are we already doing?

What sorts of international learning and global citizenship practice happen in

your school?

International learning

The term ‘international learning’ refers to activities involving two or more

countries, for example an online project between schools in the UK and India.

Global citizenship

The term ‘global citizenship’ refers to activities that explore the interdependent
nature of the world.

Make a list of the sorts of international learning and global citizenship

practices that happen in your school.

Discuss where the best opportunities are for new work. Are there
opportunities to:
• enhance what is already happening
• do something in a subject or with a stage that has previously had
little international learning or global citizenship input
• do something that links subjects or stages
• do something that will enhance the ethos of the school?
