Carbon Linings are commonly used in electric furnaces for smelting FeCr, FeMn, FeSi, MnSi,
Si-met, FeSi, CaC2, P and also Aluminum electrolysis cells.
Ramming Paste
¾ Cold Ramming Paste: Cold ramming paste is produced in different grades and widely used in
Smelting Arc Furnaces (SAF), Aluminum Electrolysis cells and blast Furnaces. The installation
temperature of cold ramming paste is 25-40°c.
¾ Hot Ramming Paste: Hot ramming paste is also used in Smelting Arc Furnaces (SAF),
Aluminum Electrolysis Cells and Blast Furnaces. The hot ramming paste should be heated up to
80-90°c before installation.
¾ SiC Ramming Paste: SiC ramming paste is a mixture of SiC, carbon and some additives that is
produced on different grades. Due to high thermal shock resistant of sic ramming, its main
application is in such areas- like Furnace Tap holes.
Carbon Block
It is widely used as refractory materials in ferroalloy furnace, blast furnace, calcium carbide
furnace, and the aluminum cells. Carbon block has the properties of superior electric and thermal
conductivity, high chemical and bulk stability, as well as high strength in electrolysis under high
temperature. Carbon blocks are produced on different grades.
