himself, Mrs. CAPITO, Mr. MANCHIN, Mr. BROWN, and
Mr. CASEY) to the amendment (No. 3695) proposed
by Mr. SHELBY
Viz:
1 At the appropriate place in title II of division B, in-
2 sert the following:
3 SEC. ll. Not later than 180 days after the enact-
4 ment of this Act, and using funds appropriated under this
5 title, the Director of the National Institute for Occupa-
6 tional Safety and Health shall submit to Congress a report
7 that—
8 (1) includes a description of those active and
9 non-active coal miner populations that are currently

1 covered by the Coal Workers’ Health Surveillance
2 program;
3 (2) identifies and describes potential barriers
4 that limit active and non-active coal miner participa-
5 tion in such program; and
6 (3) describes existing or planned outreach ef-
7 forts to improve the participation of active and non-
8 active coal miners in periodic health surveillance.
