The affection of Abraham to Isaac

LESSONS THROUGH GIVING TRUE OUTWARD WORSHIP

1. Its originates from the Heart.
C.f. Verse 1
- A matter of having God as number one.

- The parable of the rich young man C.f. Matthew 19:16 - 22

- The parable of the poor widow

Mark 12:41 C.f. Commentary by Matthew Henry on this giving out of poverty.

2. Done out of obedience

- Abraham had proved God to be true
C.f.
2 Corinthians 8 - The churches of Macedonia were not rich, but first offered themselves
to God and also gave generously.

When a man surrenders to God he becomes Industrious, Trustworthy and prosperous.
But if he doesn't hold that wealth loosely; there's more hope for Judas...
