FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Lightweight

• Self levelling

• Structural void fill

• Rapid installation
- by pump or gravity
• Cost effective compared to
compacted earth or soil backfill
• Density and strength can be
matched to job requirements
• Environmentally inert and TerefilTM is a light-weight polymer modified cementitious fill with
completely safe a uniformly distributed cell structure.
TEREFIL™

Terefil™ is environmentally inert and cost effective

Utilising the engineered cell structure to carry the
possalanic cementitious or polymer materials,
instead of water, provides an economic and
environmentally inert alternative. Terefil™ is
produced onsite, eliminating the need to pump in,
transport or treat large quantities of water.
Terefil™ is available as a pervious or impervious mix,
to suit a range of applications, and is used to solve
a wide variety of challenges in the geotechnical,
construction and mining industries.
Right: TerefilTM can produce an engineered,
permeable, open cell light-weight polymer
modified concrete, able to stabilise soil without
disturbing or redirecting natural water flow.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
• Mass fill for large voids, tanks,
sink holes and abandoned mines
• Decommissioning culverts,
pipes and tunnels
• Service trench, retaining wall
and manhole backfilling
• Replacement for unstable soils

• Annular filling

• Land slip repair fills

• Geotechnical applications

• Slab-on–grade construction
sub grade replacements or repair
• Load reducing engineered fill
over underground structures

WHEN TO USE TEREFIL™

Traditional fills Terefil™ is made in a range of densities, from as light as

too heavy 320kg/m3; to suit project requirements.

Access is limited Terefil™ can be pumped over 1000 metres.

Tight schedules Terefil™ can be placed 130m3 per hour.

Load reduction on Terefil™ is light-weight and reduces pressure on retaining walls,

structures and soil bridge approaches and slip planes.
