As rapping became more popular. Hip hop music was only performed live at first, but in 1979 a

Hip hop culture started to develop many years ago this culture as one of the most interesting and
nowadays the most popular over the world
Hip hop is both a cultural movement and a genre of music developed in New York City in the
1970s primarily by African Americans and Latinos. The four historic "elements" of hip hop are:

1. Rap 2. Dj-ing 3.Breakdance 4. Graffiti art

Rappingis the rhythmic spoken delivery of rhymes and wordplay, one of the elements of hip hop
music and culture. The use of the word to describe quick speech or repartee long predates the
musical form, meaning originally "to hit".

A DJ or deejay is a person who selects and plays prerecorded music for an audience. There are
several types of DJs. Radio DJs introduce and play music that is broadcast on AM, FM,
shortwave or digital radio stations. Club DJs select and play music in a bar, club, disco, a rave,
or even a stadium. Hip hop DJs select, play and create music with multiple turntables

Breakdance is a street dance style that evolved as part of the hip hop movement among African
American and Puerto Rican youths in the South Bronx of New York City during the early 1970s.
It is normally danced to pop, funk or hip hop music, often remixed to prolong the breaks, and is a
well-known hip hop dance style

Graffitiis the name for images or lettering scratched, scrawled, painted or marked in any
manner on property. Graffiti is often regarded as unsightly damage or unwanted

ÀNh hưởng tích cực và tiêu cực của hip-hop music : thảo trình bày

Hello everyone, My name is Thảo. I am the last member of the group Music topic.

Let's please return to the presentation.. As you know, with hip-hop being so popular in today’s
society , the question is how do hip-hop music affect the lives of us.
FirsltI would like to Positive impacts of Hip-hop music
+ rap is channel for people to speak freely about their view on political or social issues. this is
important in making the youth aware of the world around and the conditions they face in
society
+ and of course, hip hop music can provide almost everyone with good entertainment- a pleasant
way to relax and spend free time .
+ Moreoever, it offers a very effective method of learning enghlish
Nevertheless, there are several serious disadvantages to the hip-hop music
+ first of all, rap music has long had a reputation of being a form music that represents
violence , sexual exploitation as well as celebrating street warfare and gang, consumption of
drug and alcohol, and negative attitudes towards women. So Rap music lyrics filled with slang
and often peppered with profanity
+ As a result, many young people who don’t carefully choose what they listen. With low-
quality music that talks about violence as if it is okay and just a part of everyday life. this
leads the young to think these acts are okay and to behave in this nature.
That's the end of my presentation. Thanks for listening.
