Title of Presentation 1. Is it a technical topic? Justify - Yes it is. The ideal gas law equation is the very basic of thermodynamics. Audience 1. How did you determine the knowledge level of your audience? - by having the advantage of knowing which course and in what semester they are currently in. 2. How did this information influence your presentation? - It gives me the idea on what topic I should present and that I could make it interesting enough as the audience have heard about it. 3. How do you plan to gain the audience’s attention? - As I explained things to them, I planned to use the white board for drawing diagrams and use appropriate diagrams for the presentation. Introduction • What is the purpose and importance of choosing this topic? • It shows that the ideal gas law pretty much affects our daily lives and it not only should be taken as the ideal gas law we study either in school or college, but that it is applied in most part of our life. • How is the topic relevant to the audience? • The audience either have studied it or will study it again in the future, and by presenting on this topic, it shows the importance of the ideal gas law, therefore it is relevant enough that the use of the ideal gas law doesn’t just stop there in the text book, but it is also used in real life applications, not just theoretical value. • What do you expect the audience to learn from the presentation (objectives)? • I expect them to realize that the topic doesn’t just hold theoretical value but knowing where and how it is applied even in life and to make them see that simple things like breathing or how does a hot air balloon flies uses the ideal gas law as well and also the use of the ideal gas law in everyday life consciously or unconsciously, for example, our breathing mechanism follows the law and its importance. • What is your thesis statement?
