o Abstract (50-word limit. This will be printed in the Convention Program guide)
o Summary (300-word limit. This will not appear in the Convention Program guide. It will be used by the
Program Committee to better understand what the participants will gain from this session)

These three components are scored by the PRTESOL Convention Committee.

2. Factors disqualifying a proposal:

o PRTESOL does not received the proposal by the deadline (Saturday, September 8, 2018 by 11:59 p.m.
Eastern Standard Time).
o The proposal is not received electronically (by email).
o The proposal is not relevant to the 2018 PRTESOL Convention theme.
o The information on the form and/or the presenters is incomplete.
o The proposal is not complete according to the guidelines in the Call for Presentation Proposal Form.
o The same or similar proposal has been submitted previously.

3. If you were a “No-Show” for the 44th PRTESOL Convention (March 2-3, 2018), you cannot submit a proposal until
2019.

4. Remember to include a brief bio per presenter.
