What it Takes to be a Teacher

"To the world you may be just a teacher, but to your students you are a hero." Teachers are the one
who were teaching us to learn our lessons. Teachers are the one who were guiding us in this school
where they stand as our parents. They can be good, they can be strict. They're so many characteristics a
teacher had. As we all know, being a teacher is a noble proffesion. But, what it takes to be a teacher? Let
us meet the Asst. Principal III in Education and Learners Support, Mrs. Teresita B. Provido, of Janiuay
National Comprehensive High School.

A 55 years old with 5'1 tall and slim body woman. Having a fabulously blonde hair and fairly flawless
skin were not hindrance to achieve an elegant yet fierce personality despite of her age. She is Mrs.
Provido. Way back in college, Mrs. Provido went to Philippine Normal University in Tape Avenue, Manila
to study away from her family. She find it hard and face anxiety. But because of her determination she
became independent and manages to graduate in B.S Biology. She may not be able to proceed to
medicine but it's already destined to her to be a teacher. At first, Mrs. Provido teaches in private school
where she struggle to teach in public once she had transfer. As soon as the teacher adapt the
orientations in public, she eventually learned to love the public service. Mrs. Provido got married and
blessed by only one son. Years passed as a healthy family relationship continues, suddenly everything
went dark. Mrs. provido became a widower. But a strong woman never gives up, she stand up and light
the dark again. She raised her son in a best way she could. She knew that it's not the end, but rather the
beginning of all the obstacles she may encounter. She sharpened her skills, became better loyal friend
and most of all an inspiring teacher for her students. She is a solid, full of resistance wall were no one
can harm her and her family, instead she keep on buliding and building her self as a better and strong
person as more challenges passed by.

Nothing can stop you in pursuing your dreams. No one can drag you down when you're determined to
stand. No one nor nothing can wreck you when you keep on building yourself. In this world, all we need
is to be strong and be faithful to God. Just like Mrs. Teresita B. Provido, the Asst. Principal III in Education
and Learners Support of Janiuay National Comprehensive High School. This is what it takes to be like her.
