DEDICATION

This book is dedicated to anyone who has ever been abandoned, anyone who has
ever felt unloved, and anyone who has ever felt this world was not ready for the
love they bring. Shall we name names? Or shall we speak the truth that this is
the child within us all. To those children, let the waters of the stars of the song
before time flow into their Light.

To my mothers. At many turns a man needs to be nurtured, for the world is a
strange place indeed, and even the strong carry the storms of grief within. To
those mothers, who are many, who carry and hold, making way for new life to be
born, I bow. They are one and many, male and female, in this world and others.
They birth, they protect, they shelter, they hold and they nourish. They listen
and they see. They act and they respond. To them, I offer the sacred calabash of
gratitude, that they may taste the fruits of the life that was so graciously
nurtured.
Prologue

If there is one thing you need to know before
you embark on this journey it is how impeccably
loved you are. The words contained here are not
words, they are portals to ancient sources that
speak from the highest love in Creation. Their
purpose is not to tell you how much love is
available to you, but to show you, and from that
weave a new fabric of relating to who we know
ourselves to be before we were made flesh.

Introduction
This book was born out of my initiation into being a medicine man,
diviner, and gatekeeper. I didn’t encounter a diviner or even hear of the word
divination until I was twenty three. It was foreign in the place I was born. As I
looked back over my life I could remember instances as a child of gathering
sticks and other strange objects from around the yard. I would gather them in
my hands and cast them on the ground. I had no knowledge of what I was
doing, only the strong feeling in my gut that one day I would cast these objects
and something important would be spoken.
Though I had experienced tarot and I Ching readings, my first experience of
divination was something thoroughly Otherworldly. It was also thoroughly
comforting, in the way when someone listens to your deepest pain, and you
know you have been listened to—not simply heard. In such a moment, you
release into an expanded knowing that everything will work out to be ok.
It was in that first experience of divination, that I was listened to in that
way. I said nothing of my problems and yet the deepest injustices and conflicts I
had experienced over a long time were gracefully revealed. I was paralyzed to
speak; in awe of being close to something so ancient. Later I came to know that
it was the ancientness within me that could perceive that which I was
experiencing as ancient, wise, and powerful. There was something in me that
sensed that the problems I was experiencing could only be addressed through
something deep and profoundly wise.
It was in that moment of divine paralysis, that I committed that every single
person will have access to divination. “What if everyone in humanity could
have this experience,” I thought. My bones cried it was a birthright to be healed
in this way—that every community and family needed someone who listens and
someone who sees. It was such a powerful, tangible, and sacred expression of
love that my soul leaped before I knew what it was doing and spoke its
commitment to the world.
I imagine this is something like what happens before people are born. They
become so deeply inspired at the most profound love they can bring to the earth
and before they know it, they throw themselves into the drama of the planet, not
caring for what consequences await. There was a sense in that moment that
regardless of the consequences, my soul says it is so and thus it will be done.
I did not know the implications of that commitment until much further in
my initiation. The most challenging of consequences, was entering into a
permanent altered perception that gave me an elevated consciousness on all
human matters. Such profound gifts come at the price of feeling alien within
one’s own village. It is the ability to see problems at their root and the grace of
divine presence when people feel abandoned and troubled the most. It is like
being filled with the power of angels when the world is falling apart, only to be
able to engage when requested—as we must ask to receive, in honor the law of
wholeness.
Most of the time, those undergoing their own falling of the sky do not know
that just beside them is a gateway or doorway to another dimension that can
merge with their own to bring a profound peace that speaks to the bones and
source of who they are.
It was my primal urge that as soon as I could, I would divine as many
people as possible. Overtime, I began to see certain common ailments and
issues that arose. I kept a catalogue of these issues to reference as new clients
came forth. The exercises in this book are a result of that catalogue of ailments
and solutions.

How I Began Divining

The first moment I divined, I felt much like I had as a child. I was in a
quasi dream state, hovering above ordinary reality. I was in a group, seated
beside an elder. I wasn’t paying attention to anything going on, just hanging out
on top of what felt like pink scented clouds. Out of the blue, the elder pointed to
me and said, “Speak.” I began to speak and say important things that were true.
I could feel the words move inside me like they were made of some primordial
substance moving up and through me. There was a flow, an energy stream, to
which I was a part that made me fill as though I had joined a great concert or
chorus in echoing the pronouncements of an ancient, primordial witness.
I began to notice my words were peculiar in some way; that things would
happen as I would spoke them into existence. The solutions that came forth in
first couple of divinations shocked and humbled me. I was no expert at
divination, far from it, but I could connect thoroughly to its ancient source and
speak what needed to said. Overtime, as I began to see the effect of rituals,
experiences and acts of power take shape in people’s lives, I began to deepen the
divination medicine bag, automating and quickening the process of gifting
solutions to common problems.
It would pain me to see so many people around me or in the world at
large suffering from issues I knew could be solved through seeking the Voice
that comes forth in divination. And yet, it seemed that the people who could
benefit the most from this knowledge couldn’t remember that divination existed,
or confused it with psychic readings and fortune telling, diluting the sacredness
of tapping into ancient oracles. Worst, others would slander a living, breathing
tradition that has shaped the course of human development over millennia.
Others would refuse the value and skill of divination through not honoring the
energy exchange.
I kept pushing forward, aware that the way I learned would not be the
way my engagement with divination ended. I knew it was only the beginning of
a long road. I brought a fierce integrity to the practice, in addition to an
obsession for journeying into other realms to find the answers to riddles and ills
that were constantly troubling humanity. I knew that this was my will before I
was born, somehow acting upon the last will and testament of a previous failed
attempt to bring medicine through major obstacles.
Later, through personal coaching, divinations, and journeys, I found
what was missing was an update of the art form and science of divination. It
could not fit squarely into the lives of modern people, facing new challenges in
an increasingly global world. We needed a new language to communicate the
love, devotion, power and ancientness of this source. We needed to protect and
open the gates that were sent to us to ensure the health of our communities and
families.
I took on this mantle of responsibility without knowing all it entailed,
only that something in me screamed that it must happen…or else.
After that initial period, things cooled down. I no longer had the “or
else” approach to divining as I did in the beginning. It was as if that energy was
created around me as a crucible to hone my courage, audacity, boldness, and
strength to hold this medicine.
I was never satisfied with following anyone and the idea of a guru,
guide, or shamanic teacher turned my stomach. I never cared for the opinions of
others who thought I was too young to go after communicating a wisdom usually
reserved for people in their sixties and seventies. I never felt the world I was
born into had that long.
I can laugh now at this but when I first had the insight of seeing the epic
dimension of life, I was violently depressed by the enormity of what was
occurring in seemingly normal situations. This epic dimension is like a bird’s
eye view of the collective story of the planet. It sees in terms of myths and
epochs. I could see the youth of everyone alive. I felt like the rocks and anchors
of collective wisdom had vanished. I would look at the older people and the
people my parents age and I would see children, dormant in their knowing why
they were born at this point in history. Normally, latency in children is
something to be celebrated, as a gift is to emerge. But when the adults and the
older persons have no clue why they were born and why they are alive at this
time in history—that is, their unique purpose and gift—the future of the world
looked dismal at best.
On the other hand, I felt a sense of purpose: a knowing of the reason
why I was here and at this time. I also felt an enormous amount of energy to
construct a giant enterprise to get all of this work done, like a burning, giant
extraterrestrial sun inhabited my belly in concert with the ancient ancestors of
the planet. Knowing my purpose gave me a sense of choice that felt magical,
like being born in 1984 was simultaneously an event that would impact the
destiny of the human species. Strangely, I had the parallel feeling that being
born was a marvelous joke set up by other-dimensional beings.

What this book is about:

What follows are a grouping of somewhat strange exercises, rituals, ceremonies,
old proverbs, and communiqués from spiritual sources that inform my work.
They are not attached to any particular religious tradition and work in harmony
with almost all traditions.

How to get the most out of the exercises:

The way to use this work to the full benefit is to go directly to the part of the
book that calls you first. The book is designed for bibliomancy. This means
the exercises have an inner divining quality, so random and scattered reading
works with what you are seeking to receive at that time. You are welcome to
jump around and find the exercise that most impacts what you are creating in
your life. Or, you can read it straight through.
Much of the advice and wisdom within is this book is owed to Kontomble*. If
you turn your head sideways and peak ever so slightly out of your eye of
reception, you may just catch a glimpse of them gliding by to wish you
happiness as you come into harmony with the Deep Grace.
Another way to get the full benefit is to prepare yourself to do something
different, as if you are preparing to open your consciousness to a big change or
shift in your life. Set this up in a sacred way, gifting to yourself care and
compassion as you venture to be someone you may have not been in your
lifetime.
One final way to get the most out of the book, is to go into the exercises full out,
actually putting creative energy toward doing what calls to you. When there is
sweat, tears and creative energy involved in a sacred act of awareness, results are
sure to follow.
Sometimes I won’t go into detail about what a particular ingredient means or
symbolizes because it’s empowering to discover for yourself its meaning.
Getting the meaning of certain magical things is like getting the punch line to a
beautiful joke. It’s the kind of joke that makes you feel full of love and joy
simultaneously. If you really get into being creative, you’ll spontaneously get
some of the interconnections between energy, elements, ingredients and words
that make these exercises work.
These exercises are not spells or traditional magical work. They are tools you
naturally possess as a part of your being. Your being is the source and
foundation of each possibility in your life from the mundane to magical to the
sublime.

These exercises can be performed alone, with a group, or on someone’s behalf.

Training to do so mostly consists of trial and error. Another level of training is
initiation for those who see this is something for them. Just attempting these
exercises is a type of initiation. Being aware that there are other levels and
different types of initiation to support deeper revelations, powers, technologies,
and awareness is a valuable insight to open access to infinite development in this
type of work.
The Law of Attraction Divined
The exercises and insights here are the essence of what happens when the eye of
divination is tuned to the law of attraction. The law of attraction is basically the
philosophy that like attracts like. The word divination means Divine in Action
or the Divine Made Palpable. For many, receiving love is a matter of feeling
something tangible such as a touch, a gift, or a an event of some kind. It is
putting love, attraction, creativity, workability and success into action.
The deeper meaning of divination is to find the hidden wisdom and power that
underlies an idea, law, or problem. Thus, to divine the law of attraction is to
deepen the conversation of getting what we want into something that is
wholesome, beautiful, wise, and applicable to the fundamental needs of all
people—a medicine.
We are living in initiatory times, where entire collectives are experiencing
radical shifts in maturity and responsibility. This book is part of the guiding arch
of that shift. The installation of the wisdom, ancient words of power, stages of
growth, stories, and tools contained here is the aim of developing new wisdom
rooted leadership in humanity. It is the gift of the spirit of medicine to the
medicine of the village that is Humanity.
*Kontomble are highly intelligent, otherworldly beings who support the
evolution of humanity. They inspire divine guidance for some of the world’s
leading holy scriptures and divination systems. They support individuals and
families in activating and realizing their purpose.

The Exercises
Invoking the Law of the Word: My Soul Says
It Is So
Most people speak without knowing or honoring that words are sacred. We
often hear people point to this sacredness when they say the word can both uplift
and cut.
Just as a knife is used to carve the likeness of a great figure into wood, it can
also wound.
When we seek to attract and cause things to happen in our lives, our primary tool
is our word. Our word is the visible expression of our imaginations. Our word
is at the forefront of movements that exist just outside of the dominant
perception of the groups to which we belong. Our word is both our integrity and
our contract with the sacred. Thus, our word is our personal law. The simple act
of acknowledging that our word is our personal law, is a sacred occurrence.
Something subtle and radical shifts in the world when this happens.
Action: Acknowledge your Word is sacred. Acknowledge that as you speak,
things move and happen in the world.
Affirmation: I hereby acknowledge, be it now and forevermore, by powers of
law manifest in me and through me, that my Word and my Language are
sacred. Let it be resolved that my Word is the forward moving force of intention
in the world. Let it be resolved that my Word is the architect of my World.
(Reference: Pg. 69 and Pg. 37)
Structuring and Crystallizing the Word:
Your Guarantee What You Want Will
Manifest
The Word is like a crystal that organizes reality. From one word all of reality
stems. This is a secret that is not a secret. It is so open, so widespread, and so
simple that it is one of the obvious aspects of creation and creativity that
everyone stumbles over when they want to create something. To crystallize a
word is to guarantee that thing will manifest.
Action: Write one word or a simple statement as an experiment for what you
want to create. Instead of paper, use objects from nature such as a flat rock and a
stick dipped in molasses. The use of natural objects shifts the imagination to
accessing other sources of power that infuse your word with power, versus what
we are normally conditioned to. When the normal conditions are raised, a new
space is created for new conditions to manifest. The rock or object can be kept
for later usage down the line.
Invoking Your Magical Power: Your Choice
to Relate to the Universe as a Magical Place
There is nothing impossible in the universe. Impossibilities are the reactions of
minds that are disconnected from their place in the larger cosmos. When the
mind is connected and properly orientated, all things appear as possible. To
cause this shift to seeing possibility everywhere, a simple action is all it takes to
set this code in motion in the universe.
Action: Acknowledge that magic exists. Acknowledge you are a magical
being. Begin by first repeating the sacred acknowledgement of the power of
Word. As this action takes root and you see the effect, you will come to know it
was always the will of nature that you become supernatural.
Affirmation: The universe is a magical place. Language is magical. My life is
magical. As I speak, magic is infused in my words. I am natural and divine. I
am supernatural.
Living and Waiting on Dreams to Manifest:
Invoking Patience and Aliveness as Dream
Cycles Manifest
Whenever we put a call out to the universe to manifest something, there is a
moment in which it takes time for that thing to manifest. This has nothing to do
with the potency or effect of our word or magic. It is because nature and magic
happens in cycles. Growth happens in cycles. Love happens in cycles.
Embracing the cycles of nature helps to embrace the manifestation of things to
come.
While nature is very attuned to the manifestation of amazing feats of
beauty, especially from the human mind, it never acknowledges an end
result. This is because it always maintains the integrity of being infinite.
While nice things come, they too, will always change. Verily, according to
nature, all things will change.
As you speak things into existence and cause them to come to be, a simple
protective awareness action is in order. This action is to protect you from
impatience and to nourish you with aliveness as you “wait.” It is not the thing
you are looking for anyway, it is the experience. The secret aspect of nature will
speak to you in an infinite number of ways until you get this: you have nothing,
nor do you need anything, you are and you always will be. You are being and
nothing else matters. Before existence you are, through existence you are, and
after existence, you always were.
Action: Go into nature and enter into a conversation. In the language of nature,
the movement of the body is a conversation. So is song or speaking in rhythm.
Take cornmeal and on the ground draw a spiral. As you draw the spiral, sing,
speak, or dance about the aliveness of nature and how you want to dance or sing
with the same aliveness. Mention in some creative way how nature always
seems to be completely involved in its own creativity and always seems to be up
to creating something really beautiful. Then say that you want to be like nature
in that way, alive, creative, busy, and interesting.
Being Liked and Winning Friends
Everyone wants to be loved. To be loved by many enriches and lengthens the
span of life. To win friends and influence people is ultimately about being in
harmony with a being much larger than what you know or think yourself to be.
Humanity is not an amalgam of individual personalities dancing to their credos
and opinions. It is a person, with a mind and a voice. To be in harmony with the
cosmic force of humanity is to express humanity in your actions and your
speaking. Everyone loves the nourishment of someone who takes the time to
choose words with care so as to preserve and acknowledge the import of simply
being with another human being.
Action: Go outside and create a mound of dirt, or journey to a hill. Sit in front
of this hill of dirt and check in with your heart. Open and expand your heart as
much as possible. Bring with you grains of some kind like buckwheat, oats,
barley, or millet. Take a handful of this as you speak. You are now speaking to
the soul of humanity. As you speak to the soul of humanity, say what you need
to say, authentically. If you need to share something about yourself, apologize,
tell a story, sing a song, or cry it is all well. The point is that you show up and
show yourself authentically. If you have a talent or a gift you want humanity to
receive, tell the soul that you want to give it a gift and ask it to open its heart so
it can receive your gift. To add import to your speaking, tell it that it is TIME.
That should do the trick. The soul always knows when it is time.
Manifesting Health in the Home
Health in the home translates to happiness in the home. There is an overall spirit
or presence of a home. This spirit can be spoken to and informed as to what
needs to elevate to bring the frequency of harmony. When this presence is
nourished, everyone who falls under the blanket of the home gets and receives
nourishment in some way. To activate the full nourishment of everyone is to
activate a source of health and happiness that coordinates each of the details of
healthy living, exercise, and flow of movement.
Action: If the home is a physical residence, go to some place around the home
and begin to tap lightly. As you tap, address the presence of the home. When
you do this bring a gift to the presence such as sea shells, coffee or saltwater.
Each of these gifts provoke a different response from the home. For instance,
providing a gift of shells and saltwater promotes cleanliness in the air, color, and
clarity from the presence. What is most important in creating health in a home
are these two things: creativity and maintenance. You will need to be creative in
your approach to the presence of the home as each presence is unique and
requires different things. Second, you need to communicate to the presence
regularly.
Another health exercise for the home is to regularly leave a cut onion out to
absorb illness in the home.
Manifesting Health in Relationships
Relationships are what make the world go around. Because the earth is in
relationship with the sun and the moon is in relationship with the oceans and the
animals, life is in relationship with something that knows its prosperity and
future. To be in relationship with someone who knows your deepest inner
resources, gifts, talents, and soul desires is to be in relationship with someone
who knows or can affect your future.
Action: To create health in a relationship, go to a place where the sun meets
some aspect of the earth in a beautiful way. It could be a sunset, a rainbow, or
the sun over the ocean. The point is that it needs to be beautiful to you. When
you have found this beauty, the act of witnessing it is something that calls you to
go to that place. Awe is the experience of a part of your energy leaving your
body to journey to a more beautiful place. Thus, it is awe that is the basis for a
healthy relationship. The great thing about this action is that this is about all of
our relationships. Our relationships to water, the planet, the trees, society, the
future, possibilities, magic, the unknown, people, hearts, souls, finances,
festivals and so on.
When you are at your place of awe, bring with you a gift of honey or something
sweet. Lift the offering up and speak to the presence of your place of awe. Tell
the presence that you bring it a gift because you want to add to the beauty of the
place. Tell the place that you want to expand the beauty of that place to
everything the honey or sweet thing touches. After you have done this, leave a
portion of the honey there and take the rest with you. You should then place the
honey in strategic locations such as your tongue for a healthy relationship to the
integrity of your word, or on the bed post to invite a healthy way of relating with
whoever you share the bed with or with yourself.
Tip: refrain from reducing this process to simply getting what you want. Being
in awe is not about being in control. It is about opening to something that feeds
every part of your being. You are bringing this type of nourishment into an
aspect or many aspects of your life. Thus, you are not causing anything in
particular to happen, you are inviting a new, life-giving experience of that area.
Manifesting Workability with Mechanical
Things
Inorganic technologies or mechanical things are necessary to function in the
world as it is currently. Of course, this is not the destiny of the evolution of life,
but it is what we have for the moment, so it is what we will work with.
Action: To cause mechanical things to run smoothly gather the powder of eggs.
This is easy to do, just get some egg shells and stick them in a coffee grinder or
grind them by hand. Take a rock of any kind, and somewhere in nature name
that rock the thing you would like to run more smoothly. Place the rock on the
ground and sprinkle the powder on top telling the thing to run in order and with
grace and ease. This is a maintenance technology and causes things to continue
to run smoothly. When things are broken a different action is needed.
On the surface this action is about making mechanical things run smoothly. On a
deeper level this is about developing a deeper relationship with magic, your
word, and causal reality.
Health in Relationship to Power, Structure
and Change
At some point in engaging with these tools, you will begin to experience and
receive their affect. This is what to do when your magic is working.
Action: Laugh. Offer the gift of the laughter to your power. In addition, you
can go somewhere into nature with cinnamon and honey and place it at the edge
of a tree. Just do this, laugh, and carry on like nothing special is occurring.
Being powerful means doing strange and sometimes silly things just for the sake
of the sweetness of existence. The idea is to celebrate without celebrating, to
sing without singing…to play. Play keeps the magic safe and the power healthy.
When humans do magic there are always limits. Sometimes it is a price; other
times it is a relationship to causality and certainty. Whatever the limit,
respecting and knowing that that’s just how it is, works well. That respect is
communicated in shifting the dominant cultural form of power acquisition and
reality change, to honor the cycle of doing something that exists only for the
sake of laughter and possibility.
Embracing Change
All that changes is nature. Nature is change. It is natural to change. People
change. People change fundamentally.
As you embrace this aspect of life, things become easier. When you disagree
with someone or something, both you and they will change. Nothing stays
stagnant for long.
Action: In a quiet place within your mind, speak to the heart of hearts. Imagine
your arms embracing and loving this part as you say to it: “I love the way you
change. Your changes are so beneficial and nourishing. Keep changing. I allow
it. I nourish it. I want it to be.”
The purpose of this action is to set you up to greet positive changes in your life.
These changes will be positive because you are going to the source of positive
changes in your life, your heart of hearts. Your heart of hearts has an inherent
mechanism that generates different designs or shapes to produce desired
outcomes. When this part of you perceives any type of lack or hole in reality, it
can become the exact shape and size to fill that hole. Through embracing this
aspect, you embrace its ability to change shape.
Creating Safety and Security
If you want protection or security in some area of your life you should find a red
brick. With this brick bring the ashes of various woods sifted, the cornmeal from
something good to eat, and something you’ve grounded up such as coffee or egg
shells. Name the brick the thing you want to protect or want security around.
For instance, if you want security around paying a bill, name the brick that bill.
After you have created the linguistic agreement that the brick is no longer a
brick, but that thing itself, then sprinkle your substances around it and on it.
There is no particular order, though you can begin with the cornmeal, then with
the thing ground by hand and last with the ashes.
Why this works is due to a number of factors that will be learned as you engage
with this type of process over time. It sources in a deeper wisdom that can be
communicated in words, but is best communicated in silence and action.
Another action to take in this area is the burning of sage. Blow the sage with
your breath as you speak the name of that which you want to security or
protection in. For instance, you can blow on the sage and say “love, heart,
health, and gold, wealth be mine as you have been told I am the time, I am the
breath, now is the time to protect myself.”
Embracing the Causal Nature of All Things
Everything has a cause. There are things that are set in motion from many
centuries ago or in distant places that affect our lives. The big picture really is
big. No need to grasp for this picture, as it is always revealed when you need to
know it. It’s revelation is impeccable. The aspect of this complexity that is
useful to engage, however, is that within the larger framework of reality,
everything is shaped by a cause.
In one sense, you are a cause. To call oneself anything is to change. To call
oneself “cause” is to change your name in the favor of your power.
Action: Rename yourself and tell no one, except the presences of things that
bring you awe. Create an agreement with these presences that you are hereby
known as that name. Greet them in the name of who you have shapeshifted
yourself into being. Use this name in secret when you seek to cause something
really momentous or beautiful to happen, like a time capsule gift that takes a
hundred years to ripen. One idea is to actually include something strange as a
part of the name, such as a laugh or a spit over your left shoulder. Why?
Because nature gets a kick out of it and sees it as an invitation to play. When
nature wants to play with you, it means you’re interesting, and your attraction is
working. This is the foundational agreement with the universe to creating the
ideal conditions for what is considered luck.
Living in Elegance and Strength
Elegance and strength are other aspects of your foundation of attraction. Being
attractive first occurs with respect to the universe. The universe has very
different perspectives on attraction compared to human beings. Once you are
attractive in a beautiful way to the universe, you are automatically attractive to
human beings, without anyone fully understanding why.
Action: Watch a sunset. With water from a natural source such as a pond, river,
ocean, or collective of river water, visualize the colors of the sunset swirling in
the water. Next sponge bath or rub the water all over you. Do it with flowing
movements, becoming as sensual and flexible as possible. Do something of this
type regularly as a maintenance of your elegance and grace.
The Wisdom of Pilgrimage and Sacred
Walking
You are called to journey to sacred places on earth. Only the earth and your
body know were these places are for you. Sometimes these places are revealed
through divination. Other times, they are revealed in whispers, dreams,
yearnings, and prayers. Tapping into the wisdom of sacred travel moves
something in your epic story. You become aligned with a greater cosmic
overarching force of your entire existence, regardless of how much you
remember about it. To do this expands your wings. Your wings are the
expansion of the heart energy that expands from the feet. This is odd to most
people because it is ordinary to live small lives. When you grow to maturity,
you find that you feel larger than what you psychically appear to be.
It is the story in your bones that activates your readiness to expand into this
energy. As you walk and make pilgrimage you become something more than
what you have known yourself to be. You enter into the stream of history, each
step communicating with the memory within ancient mountains and keepers of
memory who remember the steps of many beings throughout millions of years.
They stand and witness, and in that witnessing something gets imprinted on the
fabric of the universe—something essential, that says you are here. In this
moment of divine registration, something of collective import occurs, the
meaning of which is reserved for the telling around fires and intimate circles.
The Courage to Let Go
Courage comes from the heart. To let go is a movement of the heart. The heart
is moved when it sees or hears something that makes it come forward; that
causes it to be active. To let go is the process of activating dormant energy in
the heart. As this energy is activated, it seeks release. The courage to do so is
often carried from the stories of others or the touch of others. When this is given
in a particular way, the heart releases naturally. This is the secret behind getting
your house in order. The house is the heart and the order is the release of what is
not working or what is ready to move.
Action: Sing a song that moves you to go to a place where the song can be sung
through you. Allow yourself to open chambers of your heart that are seeking
movement. Allow them to move. Simply allow them to move out as they
please. Once the heart signals movement, the heart also does it, in its own time
and way.
The deeper aspect of this work happens with a profound reorientation of the
heart. This reorientation comes from a number of distant sources who are very
skilled in setting up the conditions for the heart to change.
The Power to Please and Be Granted Favors
The power to please is the power to provide solutions. When you are able to
turn one thing into another, you can create solutions. To turn one thing into
another is the ability to change. To change oneself is the ability to change
anything. From being comes things. To please and gain the favor of oneself sets
you up for the ability to please and gain the favor of someone or something you
like.
To please and gain favor with oneself is the process of remembering oneself.
All of the world exists within your being. Thus all of the change, grace, favor,
and pleasure of the world exists within your being.
Action: Like yourself. Caring for yourself and loving yourself are different.
Actually like yourself. Develop a desire to be around yourself. Approve of what
you do. Some will say this is easier said than done and they are right. It is
easier and quicker said than done; so, say you like yourself, except this time,
utilize exercise one. Invoke the sacredness of your word as a transformative
power. Invoke the sacredness of your word as the power to bring something
that does not exist into existence. Simply invoke by acknowledging that you
now wield the power to do such. There is no need to believe it to be true or to
feel like it should be true. This is simply about taking action. You are taking
one thing and moving it to another place, that’s it. This has nothing to do with
feelings or what you think you think.
Once you like yourself, gift to yourself favors, promotions, loopholes and
magic. Then, it will be easier for other people to follow.
You teach people how to treat you by the way you treat yourself.
The Power to Truly Listen to Someone
Both people and the universe respond to gifts. Gifts communicate love. The
gifting of listening to someone nourishes them. When this gift is given simply
because that is what you do, (that is, it is an expression of who you are being), it
goes much further than paying someone for their time.
There is a plethora of conversation and talking in the world but very little
communication and even less listening. There are many who observe but
observation and listening are two different modes. The difference is observation
is not a gift, it is self-serving. Listening requires being clear enough in one’s
head and emotions to be present to what another person is communicating,
whether they are saying it in words or some other action. When this occurs,
observation becomes witnessing and witnessing becomes the gift of a presence
the speaker will eventually pick up on and realize something out of the ordinary
has occurred.
To invoke the power to truly hear someone, go into nature or better yet to a
mountain. Sit there and listen to everything. Listen not for the movements and
noises around you; what you looking for is a place inside of yourself that
listens. It is the place inside of you that reflects the speaker. For the mountain, it
is when you are listening from your bones that you perceive what is being
communicated directly from the mountain itself. Most people go into nature or
into conversations listening from someone else’s conclusions about reality.
When you listen from a unique source, a source that only you can tap, the
universe responds with gratitude to you.
The Power to Never Be Lonely
Life wants to be in love with you. Will you let it? Ask yourself is life what you
think it is? Life is not your experiences or what you see. You see, we rarely
love our lovers, we mostly love the idea of our lovers. But what if for a moment,
we dropped the mask and let our real feelings show. To press ones soul against
another soul, to press your breath against breath itself, is to enter into a wild
engagement. Shall you elope with the powers of your soul?
Action: Pilgrimage. Journey to a place on earth that knocks you over with its
beauty. Invoke the love within the love of that place. Take it in. Allow it to
nourish your center, your heart, and your beauty. At such a place, bringing a gift
of milk and honey is beneficial to your sacred love life. Your sacred love life is
the inner love life that is immune to the ups and downs and dramas and fun of
human relationships. Your sacred love life is your certainty and grounding
throughout all situations.
At this place, speak to the sacred love life within you. Acknowledging that at
this place in nature serves a link between the physical world and your sacred
love life. Speak to this place from the place of eternity within you. Come in the
name of silence, wholeness, and the timelessness that speaks just before the
break of dawn. You come with the sweetness of inherent in the now of the
moment and from that place of sweetness make your offering. Your offering is
the sweetness of that moment expanded; sticking to the inner side of your soul
that only you can see, sense, feel and touch. You offer the milk of nourishment
to expand your presence as well as a shield and iron root that grounds you and
protects you in the storms and chaos of feelings and influences.
Sing to this place, for it is sacred.
Only song and silence may enter.
Only song and silence may remember.
The Power to Never Be Bored
Nature does not honor boredom. Boredom is a modern mental imbalance and is
not original or natural to the human design. To overcome boredom here is the
action plan.
Action: Speak to boredom like it’s a person. Tell it what you really think about
it. Make a little box to put the boredom into. Find something that represents it,
like writing its name on a piece of paper. Leave the box in nature with
something interesting to eat on top of it. Something an animal would eat. Ask
the presence in nature to eat your boredom. Explain, if necessary, that nature is
never bored and therefore immune to what is in the box. So it can eat what you
do not want.
Next, take some honey and mix it with mud. Take the mud to a tree and spread
it creatively, singing or chanting merrily about how creativity will always come
to you no matter how messy it looks. Make the song up as you go. As you do
this you will find a secret motivation within yourself to always be focused on
one project after another. Something shiny and interesting will always catch
your mind.
The Power to Start a Project
There are projects you may need to start, like a business or a nonprofit
organization. To start the project, light a small candle. The energy in the fire
relates to the energy of initiative, passion, inspiration (bright ideas), and
enthusiasm.
Think of a fire within you—the initiative or passion—having a secret pact to
always speak and communicate to external fires in a voice inaudible to human
audacity. Imagine these aspects of creation as possessing a language that
preceded verbal communication. Consider that you too know this language but
you may have forgotten it. Not to worry, because the language is part of your
bones.
The Power to See a Project through to the
End
To begin something is to commit to finishing it. Some of us, however, have a
little difficulty staying on track or finishing projects. To help with that, here is a
basic exercise that can support the maintenance of excitement you may have
generated at the beginning of a project. In essence, this is about strengthening
the willpower.
Action: Take some holy bread; this is bread that has been made by hand, not
manufactured. With a slice of this bread take the shavings of a cedar tree. At
the foot of a body of water make a small hill of dirt. Place the bread on top.
Speak about your project. Tell the story of the importance of it and what it will
bring to the world. Tell how you would like to see the project through to
completion. As you speak about the closing stages of the project, sprinkle the
cedar chips on top. Do this with grace to achieve maximum effect.
Remember
Wisdom is the basis of each of these operations. Within wisdom there is access
to grace, creativity, and intuition. These qualities turn mere instructions from
this book into something living and breathing that can cause a change in reality.
The purpose of using ingredients and specific places in nature is proceeded by
coming into deep harmony and trust with the deep wisdom that generates your
being and body into existence.
The Power to Sing Your Dreams Into Being
At the root of all of life is a dream. We are a dream dreaming dreams into
being. Magic is only a part of the greater mystery we are. It is an expression of
being alive in dream. Magic is what happens when you realize you are dreaming
within a dream.
When we sing, we have the opportunity to sing the Medicine Song. The
Medicine Song is different from songs that move us and inspire us. Medicine
Songs are essentially forces of nature that we evoke or call forth in our singing.
To sing the Medicine Song is to utter a cry to the far reaches of the universe.
When the Medicine Song is sung, time changes and space changes, to
accommodate the progress being made in that moment. The Medicine Song is a
living Song. It itself, is the owner of a breath and life and thus its singing
transforms. The singer does not know what will become of them or the Song
and that is ok. It is not necessary to understand, only to enter with an open heart,
for something extraordinary is bound to occur when your Medicine Song
touches the earth.
Action: Find Songs that inspire you that are more vocal or expressed in a
language your ancestors spoke. Use these Songs only in sacred moments, when
you are moving close to the proximity of the divine. As you build your
repertoire of these songs, it will be easier to call forth the magic and possibility
to create. Creation then becomes something larger than life, as if a Great Spirit
has chosen to come to earth to dance.
The Power to Understand Omens, Dreams,
and Symbols
Divination at its basic levels is the understanding of the hieroglyphics of nature
itself. Nature writes. To read nature is to read omens, dreams, and symbols that
coordinate between the dew, rain, ocean, and moon.
Action: To activate the ability to directly interpret phenomena without a
medium or reader to interpret for you, take some fresh water that has never
touched the ground. This is rain water that has been collected. Wash your head,
especially the back of the head. As you wash, sing a sacred song to the soul of
nature. Go as deep as possible, with the intention to open your soul to the soul
of a wondrous being.
The Power to Dance with the Spiritual
Energies of Nature
Dance is the experience of calling something up. When dance occurs, nature
peaks up to listen. The high activity of the moment sets forces in motion that
gifts to nature additional life. The gift of life is the one gift that rewards
protection, safety, and elegant certainty from nature.
Action: Go to a place in nature and dance. Dance the inspiration and awe you
feel at your power points in nature. Dance the movements and cycles of nature,
like the change of a season, or the rising and setting of the sun. Dance the
animals, creepy crawlers, and other aspects of nature you may be aware of.
Dance the symbols such as spirals of creative energy or arrows going forth into
the collective mind.
These dances build and distribute the energy for latter encounters with nature.
When you form these energies to a crystallization point, you open the doorway
within your being to spontaneous creativity. Instant magic is available to
everyone but most of us have to work for it at some point or another.
Fortunately, dance is one form of the work nature enjoys.
The Power to Overcome the Past
Most people walk around with their past like a bag of bricks thrown over their
shoulder. In instances in human history, the guides of culture divined this as an
aspect of the village/human design. Thus, they instituted regular release points
for the collective so that those bricks may build something nourishing or be sent
into the earth where they can become part of something greater. The idea is that
troubles from the past flourish in isolation. To expand them and connect with
something larger, gives them meaning and it also gives them another identity.
After such a process, when we look at the past, we see it with the eyes of a new
dream. It is not the troubles that are different, it is us. We change, and our
ability to change is our greatest act of power.
Action 1: Earth Burial of Difficulties
Letting go of something troubling you, can be as simple as creating a
representation of that thing and burying it in the earth. This representation could
be a bundle of things you find in nature that you put together in a creative way
that represent your troubles.
Together, with a message to the earth such as, “Let these troubles become part of
the whole. Let them merge with something greater so that I may expand and
merge with something greater. Let them go to nourish something else for they
no longer nourish me.”
Action 2: The Washing of Hands
Another small action to take is to write your burdens down on your hands. Then
wash your hands. No special soap is required, just bring your intention and
desire to be clean of these burdens. This is the technology behind the saying, “I
washed my hands of that.” The hands are a representation of the highest
intelligence of yourself. To wash your hands is to wash your higher self of
attachments that cannot go where the higher self is destined to go.
Action 3: Grief Ritual
The burden of grief is an energy that regularly needs to be exercised. A
community or family that only grieves at designated moments of tragedy
eventually implodes from that energy. When the energy of grief is trapped in a
body or in a group, in generates illness or seemingly random “flare ups” of some
type of unwanted activity.
To do this, sacred ceremonies of grief are vital. Sometimes these ceremonies
need to last for days, for there is often so much that has been lost, the soul grows
weary and tired. When days are devoted to this type of work, the ritual period
becomes a deep soul opening that reinvigorates the will to live and invites the
possibility of being loved completely and thoroughly.
Action 3: A Nature Ritual for Releasing Shame
Another aspect of releasing the past is releasing shame and judgment. One
exercise to do this is to create a representation of these aspects that are impacting
your life. Burn one in a fire (never use the ash of such a fire), bury one in the
earth, and throw another in the ocean or in a moving body of water with salt on
it.
What You Release Impacts the Future of Humanity
Your choice to release the burdens of the past is a sacred offering to the future of
humanity. Although it may seem unpleasant to deal with these emotions and
situations, the earth and the children yet to be born, greet these activities with
sacredness and gratitude.
To release willingly is a sacred offering in itself and a path to greater spiritual
awareness.
One of our deepest concerns and fears as a collective is how we approach the
unknown. Releasing more and more energy from our pasts, enable us to
approach the unknown with new eyes. This gives us the ability to respond
newly in the moment, versus the delayed reaction that happens when our past is
too much with us.
The Power to Increase Intelligence
Beware of the illusions and delusions of language. We live in a global culture
that is in many ways spiritually deprived. In an effort to provide spiritual
nourishment to people who have encountered facts about their inherited religions
that create internal conflicts, a new language was born. This language is
especially expressed in the new age movement. What occurs, however, is often
the diluting of language instead of a deeper rigor with language and an
engagement with a deeper mystery. To encounter conflicts with the religion of
one’s culture or parents, is to answer the call to initiation into a deeper mystery.
It means, such a person, has signed up to open the access points to infinite
intelligence.
Bringing rigor to how we think and speak about spirituality is a primary step
toward increasing our intelligence. Across the board, in every culture and
subgroup within humanity, the growth of intelligence is the primary battleground
that will decide the fate of those groups. Simply acknowledging that within you
is the gateway and access to an infinite mind of intelligence, will do the trick to
begin the process of increasing your intelligence.
Action: This process is sustained through taking it into your life. Allow it to
inform your interactions and your speaking. When this occurs it is easier to let
many things that perturb your peace go. Most of our “issues” with people and
things stem from a an invisible judgment we’ve made about them that they will
not change. When we see them as infinite and changing, because we see
ourselves as infinite and changing, we have the possibility of speaking about
them in a new way.
To increase intelligence, a prayerful offering to the spirit of the mountain and the
spirit of the road are valuable. The purpose of these prayers are to invite the
activation and movement of a genius within you. The offering to do this can be
simple and creative such as the offering of cornmeal and tobacco.
When You Want to Move or Change
Residence
When it is time to move there are simple things that can be accomplished to
make the move easier. One thing is to find a new residence. This can be done
by simply offering a smoke to the wind, such as sage. Speak to the smoke and
tell it to journey and find your new place of residence. Of course, the more you
know about where you are going the easier it will be. However, this works at
whichever stage in the process you may be.
Another simple tool is to set out a bowl of water anywhere in your current
residence. Over the water place your hands, and install the intention in the water
to bring your grace, peace, and ease in the transition of moving. After a few
days pour the water out in the yard and begin again.
One more simple thing you can do for this purpose is to bury something in the
earth to help move you to a new home. This can be as simple as some cleansing
herbs like sage, some tobacco, and some cornmeal. Adding some coins as well
will make this simple exercise go further. Remember to verbalize your intention
as you do this.
Nature respects precision and specificity.
How to Invite Abundance
There is so much said about abundance and yet many people who enter into this
conversation struggle for years or their entire lives to create abundance for
themselves. The process of transitioning into abundance begins with an
invitation. We invite abundance into our lives just as we invite other things into
our lives. Some things we invite into our lives are bigger than us; they have a
collective and even epic import.
To invite abundance into our lives, we can simply say that to the universe.
Imagine you are at the base of a mountain. Imagine this mountain has the power
to speak to you and has a voice so big everyone in the world can hear it. Speak
to this mountain. Tell it that you are now inviting abundance into your life. Say
it a few times, each time infusing it with meaning. In this case, it is your word
that matters not your feeling. You are communicating with the aspect of the
universe that takes you by your word, not your thoughts or your feelings. What
you are doing is giving your word to the invitation of abundance, not your
thoughts, feelings, past experiences, or reasons why it won’t work.
This can be done in the imagination, but remember to act beyond the ordinary.
Creation responds when you do different things. So if you actually go to a
mountain and do this, as opposed to using your imagination, the effects will be
different for you.
How to Identify What Brings You Good Luck
Yes, good luck exists. For some, this is hard to accept. For others, they know
this and are already doing things to improve their luck. It seems beyond logic
because it is. That is no obstacle. Logic can’t go everywhere.
The invitation to good luck or good fortune can take many forms. One form is
to go to a body of water, preferably a lake. Drizzle honey all over your hands.
With your hands in the lake, ask that it clothe and bath your mind with the luck
of nature. The subtle thing you are doing here is shaping, energizing and
cleaning the body with which you dream, your dreambody. Never mind if you
can see yourself in a dream or not. Whether you see yourself or not, you will
always feel yourself. How other people and forces of good fortune see you
largely stems from how you present yourself. What you are inviting into your
life is a new means of presentation so as to make you attractive to luck.
How to Properly Invite Good Changes
Sometimes in our lives there are radical changes that set our lives in a
completely different direction. Sometimes we need to invoke or cause these
changes because things are not right for us as they are. To invoke positive
immediate change into your life go out anywhere in nature. Find a creative way
to gift a mixture of honey, small seeds such as sesame seeds, and cinnamon. You
can dance as you pour this mixture in a circle. Or anoint a tree with it or hide it
under a log. Remember to be precise in what you are wanting to happen.
What you say could sound like this:
Hey! Hau! Pow! It’s time to change now. Radically informed, radically in
storm, oceans of mountains of movements dawn, alert and present, pristine, I
must, I now move with a positive change force.
The presence of the sweet things helps make your energy and your speaking
attune to bring positive change in your life. The way you greet the positive
change is the way the change will come to you. To greet the change, happy to
see an old friend you deeply love and appreciate with gifts of sweetness and
authenticity, creates an encounter that bridges the now with forever.
The Technology to Ease Transitions and
Major Life Lessons
Cutting yourself some slack is the process of gifting yourself with the waters of
ease and compassion. We all go through major transitions and life lessons. It
helps when we have someone identify that we are going through a big
transition. To simply have an initiation identified brings the opportunity to
connecting the arch of the initiation. Each major movement of your life has an
arch over it. When this arch is listened to, acknowledged, and engaged, it acts as
a bringer of peace and song that connects each of the individual parts of the
transition. When the song is fully entered into, it gives a sense of the epic nature
of what you are experiencing. We call this experience grace.
Consider for a moment, that the upheavals and changes you are experiencing are
actually an initiation into seeing the universe more clearly. Consider that there is
nothing wrong with you and that you didn’t make a mistake to cause whatever
you are going through. Just considering these thoughts opens the idea that there
is a higher guidance operating in your domain. The idea is like water and it is
water that will support you in easing the change.
One simple thing you can do if you are going through a major change such as a
major loss, a change in thinking, or waking up to a part of reality you didn’t
know that you didn’t know existed, is to make or purchase some colorful flags.
Take the flags and tie them between two trees. After you have done this,
meditatively walk between the two trees pouring water in front of you the first
time, behind you the second time, then another two times to each side. You can
pour as much water as you need.
This is the time to use your emotions. Use your imagination to remember a time
of love and compassion you had for someone or something. As you pour the
water think of this occurrence. Speak and ask that the arch of colorful beauty
transform and manifest to bring the waters of grace, compassion and peace over
your life at this time. Ask for grace and ease and pour the waters.
After the Invitation: Embracing and Living
in Abundance
After we invite abundance, or any type of good fortune into our lives a second
step seals the deal. What we say and what we invite, necessitates harmonizing
our being with that thing. It is this alignment of integrity that causes that thing
to manifest. It is the grace within that harmony that allows things to become
easier and to flow better.
To live abundantly, preparations need to be made. Abundance is not something
that you can just transition to or something you can roll out of bed to greet. You
are inviting something big into your life. It is like inviting the president over
for dinner and being surprised he or she accepts. Preparing for that encounter
takes some cleaning, a different mindset, some coaching, and encouragement
from friends. You need coaching because while friends encourage, coaches hold
your feet to the ground and get the icky thoughts you use to sabotage yourself
out the way.
Simply knowing that you need to prepare can spark a list of activity to begin the
process. It is a celebration, because something amazing is occurring.
This is not the time to put your past experiences in the celebration. That’s like
throwing a party then telling stories about people who died that makes everyone
sad. When it’s time to celebrate, that’s what you need to do. You are not
celebrating something that is not there, you are gearing up to handle a higher
frequency that is coming into your life, because you called it. You see, there are
certain frequencies that are required to respond to requests and invitations.
Abundance is one of those frequencies. This is the real law of attraction. It
is a law because those frequencies are designed to serve you. These frequencies
fall under the appendix of universal law called birthrights. Because you have a
cosmic mother, whose nature is abundance, fertility, and prosperity, she can only
create that. Her desire is that all of her children are abundant and creative. That
is her nature---the nature of Mother Nature.
If you do not accept this, that is no big deal. If you are wondering why you are
just finding this out now, that answer is something you already know in your
gut. The thing you need to understand is this: just because someone works out
of harmony with universal law does not mean the law is cut off or unavailable to
them. Eternity is too abundant to punish and cut someone off forever. It
simply isn’t in its nature to do so. We do that though…or at least we attempt to,
until love commands us to do otherwise, and no one can escape that. Love is
more powerful than fate.
It is part of your Welcome to Earth Package of inalienable rights you get when
you are born, to invite abundance and it comes to you.
To add to the ideas for how you can prepare for abundance coming into your life
consider these exercises:
Wash with fresh rainwater, honey, and powdered egg shell. Rainwater is
powerful because of its fertility. It is a prosperous aspect because it promotes
growth. Prosperity means growth. One of the reasons for doing this is for the
sake of festivities. When you let yourself be festive, abundance has a way of
finding itself to you.
The next thing is to get a coach to organize the logical aspects of living in
abundance. There are things that need to be organized, such as your thoughts,
collections, creative ideas, and action steps. Preparation also means making the
plan and working the plan. The added ingredient that makes it work, is fun. If
you’re boring now you will be boring when you reveal your abundance to
yourself. Of course, there is nothing wrong with being boring. It’s just that
more people like you, and you actually like people when you’re not being
boring. Liking people just makes living in abundance much easier.
Relationships nourish us and there is a part of us that needs relationships.
The Power to Fully Empower the Force of
Gratitude
There is an idea from many wisdom traditions that says that through honoring all
the things we can be grateful for, and being grateful what we have, we can get
more of what we want. It’s generally presented that it is good to be grateful for
as many things as possible.
The trouble we all encounter is that it is sometimes difficult to be grateful when
we experience things we don’t want to experience. If one takes a closer look at
the wisdom, you can see that it is not simply in being grateful for an innumerable
list of things, it is also about entering into a permanent state of gratitude.
Gratitude as a state of being is different from having a list of things to be
thankful for. It is the state of being grateful. This is what the forces of creativity
and manifestation notice first, not what we say, think, feel or know, it is how we
show up and who we be.
To show up to life grateful sets the entire tone of your existence. Not to worry,
we get as many chances as we want to show up to life. Showing up to life is
about making the choice to be here. Bringing gratitude to that choice is about
communicating with your entire being how things are going to go.
There are simple actions that can send the ultimate experience of gratitude
forward into the future, sort of like sending a part of yourself into the future to
greet yourself when you get there. This is done to maintain the deep state of
wellness that comes when gratitude shifts from being a list to being a state of
being and grace.
One of these simple actions is to bury nourishing items in the earth in the spirit
of gratitude. These items can be things that you eat or things that nourish your
soul and mind in some way. Cornmeal, poems, flowers, water, coins, chocolate,
coffee, grains, and honey are great options for this. When you do this, do it in
the name of gratitude, mustering all the gratitude you can. Do it for all the
people, events, or things you are grateful for. This is a clear energetic message
being sent to the source that births those people, events, and things. This is
especially powerful if done five times.
Doing so will cause a shift in consciousness whereby you become more grateful
and can withstand higher frequencies of abundance and blessings. The gratitude
offering helps stabilize the energy field and doctors it over time so that you will
be ready for new blessings. It also helps create those new blessings and provides
a sense of palpable well being that other people and aspects of nature pick up as
desirable. The destiny of this type of action and work is to enter into a
relationship with the universe whereby the universe is grateful for you. This can
only happen when greatness is given and greatness is realized. And, this can
happen for anyone. In fact, this type of working favors relatively ordinary
people.
Increasing Focus and Concentration
You don’t have to suffer through lack of focus and concentration. There are
natural remedies that can change your ability to concentrate.
The first simple action is to carry small stones. Especially stones with a point to
them, such as crystal points. Another simple task you can do is a face washing.
Wash the face in regular water with the intention of taking off the energy build
up of lack of focus. After this is done, get together some rocks, especially if you
can find them from a mountain, but any group of rocks will do. Set a bowl of
water on top of the word FOCUS. Take one of the rocks and bury it in the earth
saying with command and authority, FOCUS. Take another of the rocks and gift
it to a larger rock formation asking for the ability to be clear and focused in what
you seek to do. You can also wash your face in the rocks using rainwater, asking
the overarching consciousness of nature to gift you with the nourishment,
insight, and flexibility to be focused in the work that calls you the most.
Using Time Wisely and Finding Unused
Resources
We each have more resources than we know what to do with. Abundance is
everywhere, especially in our kitchen cabinets and backyards. There is another
abundance in our families and communities that we also rarely tap. This is the
abundance of purpose. Each person incarnates with a purpose that was carefully
constructed to balance some aspect of the family and community. When each
person’s purpose is engaged, authentic collective abundance is engaged.
The first step to tapping into the abundance around you is acknowledgment.
Acknowledge the creativity in your life, family, and community. Acknowledge
the creativity in your backyard.
Next, take a look at the spices and herbs in your kitchen. Each spice has many
functions and meanings. When each spice is relocated to an ideal spot in the
universe, it causes things to occur in your life that you may desire. For instance,
vanilla and honey offered at the base of the home, resets the frequency of the
home for greater grace and ease. It creates a sense of peace and wholeness in the
home. Basil infused with water and sprinkled around the home or placed in your
bath water produces an ability to put your purpose into action whether you know
what it is or not. The basil communicates with the frequency of mission. When
the basil is sprinkled it brings the protection from an energetic gate that can
generally be called Order. It’s protection is paramount, especially for people
who are marginalized, unappreciated, or unseen in their community. When
mixed with milk and poured onto a small hill made of earth, the basil milk
provides deep nourishment to one’s purpose. The way this shows up in the life
of the person who does this or has this done for them, is that they have a deeper
degree of wisdom and an energy reservoir of positive awareness to draw from
that defies understanding. This is the technology that causes what is
traditionally called a peace beyond understanding.
When you invest yourself in these exercises over time, an interdimensional
gateway is formed, whereby a person is transformed into a expanded healing
presence. What this means is that instead of taking, the person’s presence in
both community and nature becomes nourishing. The person at this point may
have an experience of people opening doorways for them, increased sweetness,
and a sense that trees and other nature beings know them and bow to them. The
bow is not out of command of domination. The bow is out of a recognition of
the sensitivity achieved from the work that has been done.
Mojo for Attracting a Lover or Multiple
Lovers
Attracting a lover or lovers is rather simple. The first step is to do the opposite
of attraction. It is the secession of the logical attraction process. This translates
to self love and contentment. When this is achieved then it is easier to attract a
lover or lovers.
To increase the level of self-love pour a mixture of wine, milk, honey, and rose
petals to a multitude of places. At the pouring, express the desire to increase self
love. The first pouring should be a bath in this mixture. The next should be
poured upon the earth. The key to this pouring on the earth is that the earth
should be bare and flat in some way. The reason is that you want to find a place
in nature that reflects the current state of your love life. What you are bringing
to it is nourishment. At the pouring of the potion to the earth, there should be a
request for a deeper center of self relationship, wholeness, and gentle speaking to
oneself. After this, take earth from the location back to where you are and keep
it in your residence. It can even be placed inside a small bag or bundle. The
next thing to do is the pour the potion in a body of water requesting the same
things. The affects will be noticed almost immediately. This will set you up to
attract new energy into your love life through resetting your love life back to
your center.
This is the holistic way of approaching love, that incorporates your wholeness
and evolution as a soul and a human being. Most approaches only deal with
your ego and your wants. This is actually really great and it makes people feel
good. What this approach does is it takes those general affects of love attraction
techniques and takes into account how they affect the whole of nature, life,
community, and your destiny. These techniques take into account the larger
movement of your consciousness through the universe. They are destined to
infuse you with mystical awareness of love that is ultimately a solitary
relationship. Even when two or more gather the purpose of love in these
encounters is to create the experience and perception of oneness.
One Love.
There is no Love but Love and that is the whole of the Law.
Once you got the first piece, it may no longer be necessary to do anything else to
attract a lover or lovers. This is because you may be in a state of awareness
where you no longer want love in the old way. The wounds you are secretly
seeking to be healed may have been addressed.
However, if you do still want to that this is what you do: Go to a river and offer
pumpkin seeds and honey with the intent for more activity and options in love.
You can include milk, salt, iron and grains in this process if you are seeking
something monogamous. The intention and request needs to be stated. If you
come in the spirit of desperation to this part of the exercise, you are incomplete
with the first aspect of attracting love.
Dealing Powerfully with Disruption and
Disrespect
In life there are forces that seek to disrupt our progress. Song is one way to
encounter these energies without succumbing to them. Being in integrity with
purpose means moving in the world to a drumbeat that originates within. This
drumbeat is also your song. To sing in face of obstacles causes obstacles to
shrink.
The song of our purpose is larger than we give it credit for. It has eyes, bodies,
faces and hands. Our purpose is alive and has a life of its own. Encourage the
growth of its life. Feed the growth of its life. Do not allow the feeding of the
life-force intended for your purpose to go to obstacles.
When we see songs as not only melodies that make us feel good but as beings
themselves, then singing becomes an act of defining your energy field. To
invoke this power, there are certain songs that belong to you. These songs
emanate from your bones. These are songs that put you in touch with your
essence. Many times these are songs your ancient ancestors sung. Other times
they are songs that come from other parts of the universe. Sometimes they are
vocables with no certain words, but a definite energy. To contact the song right
for you at the moment simply ask your heart. Music is one of the most powerful
mediums for receiving spiritual messages. The answers come as a movement of
the heart. To evoke the heart to move is to invoke the world to move.
Attracting People Who Support Your Soul’s
Yearnings
In modern culture, we have lost the value and medicine of community. When
community is present, the levels of violence, addiction, and wounds that stem
from isolation do not exist. Building community is a difficult feat in a world
built upon distractions to being intimate with our purpose. From experience,
overcoming this is not a viable action. Wherever we seek to run or fly away, the
distractions of this world seem to follow, making the creation of community a
difficult task.
To begin to address the task of bringing people into your life that support your
soul’s purpose certain things can be done to set the odds in your favor. One
thing is self respect and courage. One aspect of these traits are character based.
Other aspects of them are energetically and spiritually based. To begin from the
energy of self respect and courage sets the stage for integrating these traits into
the character.
One way to do this is to begin daily practices of self care and grace. This is
especially powerful at bodies of water around you. Entering into a conversation
with these bodies of water, as you would converse with a wise and graceful
friend, is a good start to increasing self respect and courage. The next step is to
have these friends walk with you in your life. This is done by asking them to do
so and periodically sharing gifts with them, as you do with friends.
As you accomplish the internal task of self care and self respect it is wise to
move outwardly to attracting people into your life that see and support your
souls purpose. To do this, a request can be made to the soul of humanity. The
soul of humanity is communicative and influential. It can organize meetings and
gatherings and set the stage for healthy, sustainable relationships. It also knows
your purpose and always relates to you from the highest ideal you committed to
incarnating.
To speak to the soul of humanity and request people that support your purpose,
bring a white stone to a hill made of earth. This hill is a focal point to direct
energy to the soul of humanity. In the realm of the sacred, that your soul says
it is so, makes it so. The white stone is the representation of the energy of your
purpose. When this is brought to the focal point, surround it with cornmeal,
honey, grains, cinnamon, and a green herb such as basil or mint. Do this asking
for people in your life and for the soul of community and humanity to manifest
elegantly around you. At a later date bring water to the same place asking for
continuity of this blessing of community showing up in your life. When the
opportunity comes into your life and you see that people have come supporting
your soul, make another gift for the soul of humanity to offer gratitude. This can
be water mixed with flour.
The Power of Peace with your Legacy
Most people wait until later in life to make peace with the overall direction and
unfolding of their time on earth. When this is done as soon as a person is ready
to live a life full out, life is set up in a way were regrets are not part of the life
path. This brings an increased harmony to relationships and a new fabric of
understanding between all of the complex inner workings that support you in
manifesting on earth.
When you live life from the end, you can live peacefully, not frantically as
though it were your last day on earth. It is a type of peace that squares away
odds, meeting adversity with a strength of knowing that not even death can stop
you from bringing your gift to the world. To accomplish this energetically and
spiritually, a bowl of water and sifted ashes, of woods and herbs such as cedar
and sage, are needed. As you speak your intention for longevity in the being of
your essential energy, sprinkle the ash. State deliberately that you register your
gift with the planet and your wish to see that gift go forward with peace.
The purpose of this type of personal blessing is to address the inevitable time
when we all feel lost in the world at some time or another. We all sometimes
seek outside ourselves that which is best brought forth from within. What
making such a blessing for ourselves accomplishes is setting us in a deeper
dimension to guide life. This is part of the mysteries of becoming ancestors. To
embrace the full time spectrum of our existence, sending that embrace forth into
the directions of our future, moves the traveling concerns we meet in this
dimension into a profound order that cannot be betrayed.
There is another aspect to this work that is important to integrate if this exercise
is to stick. This looks like making a shift in being, from someone who is bound
within a set time to someone who is situated within an infinite time stream.
There are certain types of personal coaching that can create an integrative
cognitive process as spiritual awareness arises and is empowered from this
spiritual exercise. The coaching helps interface this unseemly awareness with
the normal world in a way of integrity. The intention of this type of coaching is
to harmonize and find pathways and ways to put deep spiritual awareness to
maximum service for the greater good.
The Power to Listen and Speak from the
Heart
Listening and speaking from the heart is the value of what it means to be
human. In this world, whether one believes it or not, most of us are not being
human. When we are connected to others, sharing our hearts and listening for
the gold in all that we see and touch, we experience another world behind the
world of business and make believe. This is our natural home and ultimately the
place to which we are destined to return. What should be known is that this
return is not contingent upon time or event, it is the destiny of the heart, and the
heart always takes the most interesting paths to get where it’s going, not
recognizing established territories and boundaries. Only the heart can cross so
many lines without harm, just as nature can go anywhere it pleases.
Communion is the act of resonating with people in a loving way. In a simple
ceremony of connecting to others from our heart, imagine what you would like
to be doing with others. This reconnects to the soul of community, even if it
does not happen immediately in the physical. To assist in this, cook sweet
potato, mixed with honey and cornmeal and offer in the space of communion.
There is an intelligence within the sweet potato that supports the health and
development of normal, functioning human connections from many different
places and times.
The Power to be Profound and Original
How we see the world affects how we engage the world. There are some who
can see the world full of lack while another can see impeccable beauty and
abundance. How we choose to see is a reflection of what we see within our
souls. For the soul is not simply a vessel to communicate outwardly, it is a
doorway to many lands that are in fact very real. Bringing energy from these
lands to merge with the lands here is the process of an energy exchange that sets
in motion aspects of reality that affect time well into the future. It is this process
that is at the root of making a lasting, meaningful impact.
The soul is a source of meaning. Like many things, meaning can both cripple
and resurrect, it can both maim and heal. What we choose something to mean
depends on what we say matters. It does not matter if it doesn’t mean anything.
To matter is to be material or to cause materiality--- an expression of
solidification.
To name something is to cause that thing to matter. It is the soul that names
things. Because soul means light or sol, another word for sun or logos, it is the
light that manifests matter. The naming of a thing is the calling of that thing into
existence, from nothing to something. Our soul causes and pulls from resources
that have never been seen or heard before.
In each name the soul calls there is a doorway. It hinges on the original
originality of infinite intelligence. As beings connected to this source, opening
the gates within the soul to connect to infinite intelligence opens the gate for
bringing innovation to culture, family, and community.
The Power of Respect
Everyone desires love and respect. It is part of our design as human beings. To
cause respect to increase or to occur certain actions can be taken. The first
action is understanding. Someone else’s ability to respect you is directly
proportional to their ability to respect themselves. If they do not respect
themselves, it is likely they were not taught about the value and significance of
things within their souls. To get that some peoples’ approach to respect has a
deeper, systemic meaning gives you the opportunity to simply let certain desires
for respect go.
Other times, it is necessary to establish authority and to cause respect to be
granted to you. One way to accomplish this is by giving something of value to
others on a consistent basis such as cooking a meal for people in your
community regularly as an expression of your abundance. The more creative
you are in sharing abundance, the more opportunities you create for people to
praise you. The best type of abundance that people respect, however, is not in
the literal giving of physical things.
The best type of abundance is in sharing the gift of humanity. That sharing is the
medium through which your humanity can shine. That is where the real gift is.
As we share and gift our humanity to others, they have an opportunity to live
into their humanity. That is to say, they are invited back to the place of
belonging and value within their own souls and beings. People are always
searching for this type of invitation back to their hearts, whether they know it or
not. The person who gains respect is the person who is skilled at creative ways
of inviting people back to their hearts, sometimes without others knowing they
are being guided to an abundance they forgot or lost.
Another thing that can be done for respect is to make a medicine bundle of dry
earth, seeds, and fruits. In this medicine bundle, communicate the gifts you are
offering community. Add symbols and elements to the bag that represent your
gift. For instance, if you are feeding others through a community meal you
could offer an aspect of the meal to the bag. The bag should be placed on a flat
rock to live. Periodically go to the bag to add things and to speak to the bag
while taping on the stone. The speaking should be in the vein of:
I cause and create the possibility of respect in this domain___. Surrounding the
domain and moving through the domain is respect of the purpose and value of
what I gladly bring. The hearts and the inner needs of this domain are open. To
know this is sacred. To know this is an art. So with this knowing, I gladly gift
the fruits of my heart, touching sacred with sacred, and life with breath.
Respect is received because respect is given. This is an energetic equation. To
carry medicine is to carry a knowing that others do not know. It is be carry a
“lord”. Instead of lording one’s secret knowing over others, the process of being
granted respect first occurs in gifting that knowledge in a subtle way that heals
and brings life. Thus, the equation of respect begins with the abundance of your
respect of the sacred. Consider that another word for knowledge is respect. To
know that we are living in a time where the wisdom of ontology trumps spiritual
modes of the past from all traditions, because it was seen forth that we all needed
to be on common ground, is to participate in the active unfolding of the will of a
higher intelligence. To know that within each soul there is greatness, divinity,
quiet, and sacred serenity is to treat each person you encounter as sacred. The
act of treating others as sacred, especially when they do not know and treat
themselves as sacred requires being a larger being. It is this larger being that
first gifts respect and thus balances the equation which was once negative
through adding a positive variable.
The Power to be Comfortable with Yourself
It may seem odd at first but many of us where taught to be afraid of ourselves.
We each come here with an immense abundance of energy. Children are a ball
of light, literally. Over time, that light often grows dim due to hurts we
encounter here. Paramount of those hurts, in many cultures throughout the
world, is the fear of our deeper selves, our ancestors. Ancestors are not
necessarily the dead. Family, in that realm, is extended, connected, and one.
There is no separation and there is only light. It is a heaven that we come from
and this fact has often failed to be acknowledged in many religious traditions.
Where we are seeking to go and what we are seeking to achieve, we have come
from; we have already achieved. What we are here to do is to bring heaven to
earth and to register ourselves to earth.
The first step in this is being comfortable with what we were taught was wrong.
We were taught it was wrong to connect with the forces of nature, creativity,
immortality, and light and to speak openly about them, carrying them as badges
of honor that promote the blessings inhabiting our bones. In many cases were
not encouraged to tap into our full ability to call forth the blessings inhabiting
the whole land and the families to which we belong.
To reconnect with this realm of energy, we need only to open ourselves to the
possibility that there exists beings that support us from another dimension.
These beings see us as family, even if we can’t remember their names.
Somewhere, in our consciousness, we do remember, and it is that memory that
can be tapped via song, dance, movement, and speaking.
To speak honestly and openly about the past is to find and locate gateways into
this other future. We hold within us the power to change the future simply
by what we sing. When we add our bodies, our triumphs, our tears, and our
knowing to that song, forces are joined and drawn to that occasion that weave a
new opening for the presence of many divinities to show up. This is simply the
aspect of reality that divinity seeks to multiply and propagate. It is a gift that
seeks to be replicated, reproduced, and constantly recreated, just as we do as a
species. It is our nature to be divine and to live in a community that is divine as
well.
Accepting the truth of who we are is the gateway to being comfortable with
ourselves in whatever circumstance we may find ourselves. In many cases, this
requires a time of quiet to let the information sink deeply into the bones to
connect with the knowing that that is there. When information that points to
your truth connects with the actual living, breathing, truth in your bones, a
radical acceptance of purpose and value occurs.
Nourishing the Soul
Soul food is real but it doesn’t always look like things we can digest with our
minds or our bodies. Soul food for many of us is ceremony that is designed for
our souls. Ceremony is most affective when it is designed from an expanded
intelligence that includes the intelligence of other realms and dimensions. This
is not as complex as it seems, for even children have access to what it takes to
design healthy, viable ceremony. The flow of ceremony deepens on our hearts,
and it is following the path of the deepening of the heart that the most innocent
of heart do best. To nourish the soul is to deepen the heart.
The deepest place we can go is to the ground. For the soul, there is a ground on
which life exists. Even the earth is set in motion and held by this seemingly
invisible ground. This ground exists within us. It is the ground that causes the
night sky to appear as it does and orders the stars to be exactly as they need to
be, where they need to be.
One way of tapping into this ground is accomplished through the chanting of
ancient sacred names. Care must be taken in this regard to first chant sacred
names that are directly relative to our souls. Each of us has a creation story. To
trace our genealogy all the way leads to the same source, and it is a divine
source. It is when we connect with the divine sources through going back
through our blood lineage that it is easier to tap into the ground of being. It can
be done from other blood lineages but mostly when this occurs the seeking of
such energy and names comes from a sense of abandonment and scarcity within
one’s own blood line. The reparation of this requires shamanic journey and a
reading from a diviner initiated to the medicine ground of the ancients.
The knowing that there is a ground upon which all time and space exists is
enough to point you in the right direction. To know that language and song hold
the keys to journeying to that place is another. There is no set way to do this and
the easiest way is to enter into ceremony with someone or a group that is well
versed in ceremony. We are living in a time where the technology of ceremony
is evolving to be more inclusive of the needs of more groups. This translates to
the givers and guides of ceremony being able to function with a larger number of
people, creating new ceremonies and remembering names that have not been
spoken for millennia to address the specific needs of the group who gathers.
A Prayer to Cause the Sun to Rise
In ancient days, people would often sing before sunrise to cause the sun to rise.
They believed that if they did not sing or perform another form of a necessary
ceremony the sun would not rise. When people born in a scientific age look
upon these beliefs, we often judge them as ignorant. Consider, however, that
there is a deeper mystery that they were invoking for the betterment of their
communities. Yes, for sure, there was ignorance as that is part of the human
story. If we were to acknowledge the failures and triumphs, we could take
another look at the ceremony of causing the sun to rise. There may be
something in that ceremony we could apply to areas in our lives where we want
to sun to rise. There are some metaphors that are not metaphors at all; they
are doorways to realms that exist on the other side of our souls.
That the soul is an expression of sol, which means sun, the causing of the sun to
rise is the causing of a collective soul to rise. There are many collective souls,
not just the soul of humanity, but that is a great place to begin when one is doing
the work of healing collectives. For individuals, the sun can be caused to rise in
their lives or over projects, bringing that which is in nourishing darkness waiting
to be born into a new day to shine.
The beauty of this is that the causing or the singing of the sun to rise is the
calling of a name or a group of names. It calls to mind the image of the zodiac,
where the sun is surrounded by ancient symbols that point to names and energies
in the universe. Causing the sun to rise is that and more. The act of causing the
sun to rise is the creative act of naming the day. This is not the day of ordinary
reality, but the Time of a person or thing. It is tapping into the reality of fate that
grounds and compels the sun to rise. Consider that the scientific forces we have
become aware of up to this point are actually shadows of a luminous dimension,
working perfectly in harmony with myth. The reconciliation of science, myth
and meaning can only be accomplished through the elevation of intelligence
through higher and higher frequencies of light.
The preparation for this ceremony of the soul requires some thought and
meditation. Consider a project or person you would like to be successful. Draw
on a piece of paper a sun. Place the person or the project in the center of the
sun. Now, draw a name or names around the sun. These names should be things
like Peace, Certainty, Devotion, Well Being, and so forth. You can be as creative
or esoteric as you like. The next process goes as follows: At the edge of the sun
rise, just in the time of twilight between night and day, go outside with these
names in mind. State something to the effect:
The sun is rising, it is time. It is The Time. The Time is Now. The Time is Now…
This is where you insert your names. What you doing is placing the energetic
relationship of the sun rising to your word. In essence, you are energetically or
imaginatively becoming the sun then speaking with the authority of the sun over
a particular aspect of life.
A Prayer to Make It Rain
Making it rain is part slang, part sacred ceremony, and part luck. Luck is the
aspect of being connected to nature in such a way that nature listens to your
requests intimately. Each of us has this ability within us, and this is why in times
of drought the support of the entire community is sought to cause rain. In the
world of slang, making it rain means causing an abundance of something to
occur. It signifies setting the stage for a rainbow or peace. It also signifies
power, prestige, and the ability to bring necessary nourishment to a community.
At some point, it is necessary that everyone makes it rain in an area of their
lives.
The process of making it rain in your life begins with designing your life from
the top down. There is an aspect to making it rain that comes from the tops of
mountain. From those mountain tops, you can see the big picture and decree the
pathways and roadways for how things are suppose to go. This decree is the
process of making it rain.
To do this, journey to a mountain top and deliver your plans for a particular
project or area of your life. Speak in a decree, describing the way things will
go. As you speak, upon the ground it would be beneficial to draw a symbol of a
mouth with multiple pathways extending from it with a mixture of cornmeal and
grains. At the place where the mouth is drawn, place tobacco or curry powder.
As you enter your decree in the force or computer of the mountain, tap on the
ground to notify that something important is happening. After this, make the
degree. When you leave, take dirt from the top of the mountain home placing it
in a bag in which you pour your cornmeal grain mixture and tobacco. The bag
should first contain earth from where you live or where you want to cause an
effect, for instance, in an office setting or family reunion.
A Prayer to Cause the Sun to Set
The power to end is just as important as the power to begin and see something
through. There are certain things in our lives or in the world at large that need a
proper ending. These things may have gone on too long and are causing harmful
affects to oneself and others. Or, it may just be time to transition to something
new.
The causing of the sun to set begins at the zenith of the day. When the sun
begins to decline it is important to set the tone for how an event will end. This
can be used for simple things or very large events. This action also utilizes the
force of the mountain to empower speaking such that speaking becomes decree.
At the height of noon, go to place where you can stand on a rock. From this
place decree what shall end and how it shall end.
Here is an example:
As you stand on the rock say this:
A relationship of co-dependence has journeyed long and rough and now is the
time of the end. The time of the end is now, so say the mountain within this rock.
I stand to decree in this time of the end, that the sun shall set upon this
relationship, closing the old chapter of relating, setting the stage for a new day
of naming. Our names shall change, our bodies shall change, the very
instruments in which we engage reality shall change. There shall be no loss, as
that is the change to be.
In this light, pour the gift of honey and salt so that these things come to be.
The purpose of the honey is to set the tone of the ending in sweetness. This
energy also relates to the energy of the sun as well as the beauty of sunsets. It is
important to remember, that even in cases of hate and spite, there is sweetness
and beauty in the ending from another perspective. To focus on your relatively
to the ancient source of the mountain and the power of the breath and decree, is
to shift the normal operations of fighting and strife. It is a stark refusal to feed
the forces of violence and a radical turning to a source that issues forth peace for
all parties concerned.
Although we have the capacity for judgment it is not always to our benefit.
Judgment often cuts both ways. This does not mean avoid it or not to feel the
very natural emotion of anger. This is simply to say that it is always highly
volatile—an emotion and perspective of flux. It simply has no lasting power,
like a fire that burns only until its fuel runs out. The mountain however is
content within itself, neither needing fuel nor in danger of running out of
anything. This is the nature of powerful language as well.
Words of power, the language of the other lands, never runs out and are
always empowered to do what they were carefully constructed to do.
Operating At Full Mental Capacity
Our minds are wondrous tools. It is a tool of a larger organism and being. The
body exists within the mind, not the mind existing within the body. To know
this, and understand this opens the ability of each of the five basic faculties of
the mind that mirror the five physical faculties.
Increasing to full mental capacity is not only about becoming a genius within our
domains, it is about becoming the totality of who we are by choice. To do this
impacts the evolution of all of life to a high degree.
One way to start to increase the mental capacity to its full degree is to connect
the intelligence to infinite sources of intelligence. An aspect of this is viewing
nature as a large mind. When the personal mind merges with the larger mind of
nature, miraculous events are possible. Nature is a source of infinite creativity
and love. When these two things are operable in the human being, it is easier for
the human being to grow to full capacity.
Joy, Ecstasy, and Peace as Life Learning
Tools
The path to full mental capacity is much more than what it appears on the
surface. It is not a straightforward route and that’s where all the fun begins. The
easiest way to go about increasing intelligence is through radical experiences of
joy, ecstasy, and peace. Our full mental capacity is already available to us. It is
not that it needs to be created; it needs to be accessed and nurtured. Joy,
creativity, ecstasy, and peace are access points to our infinite intelligence. Each
of these are more than emotions, they are meta states that correspond to energies
within the universe.
The deliberate intention to invite these things into your life will set events and
movements in motion so that they begin to rush into your being. The carefully
guarded truth is that these experiences are actually waiting for us to connect with
them in a thorough and intelligent way. They exist just outside of the normal
range of consciousness desiring in a way to shake hands with this dimension in
an agreement that looks like a dance.
Thus, to dance this invitation to these experiences helps open the gates within
the energy field and body for the mind to access them at will. The simple
movement of exercising the entire spine with the intention to open up to ecstasy
and joy is very powerful in this regard. Song is a another access point as there
are sounds that activate these presences within the being. Most of these sounds
can be made up. In reality, nothing is ever made up, inspiration is received. To
sing a song and receive the sounds of the song as you go while moving the body
facilitates the intention of opening to joy.
Listening to the Movements of Planets and
Stars
Harnessing the power to listen is one way to grow intelligent and wise. Who and
what we choose to listen to can determine our future. What people in modern
cultures have forgotten is that there are collective beings such as nature or the
earth that can be listened to. When we approach these beings as wise elders
something is triggered within our being where we can receive the intelligence
and the mysteries they have as presents for us. It is the nature of wise elders to
always carry presents and gifts for the community. They function on a different
economic system, a system of gifting. It is an economy where the exchange of
love is within the unique way we place our feet on the ground.
The first step to listening to the universe at large is to listen to the larger beings
that are local. This looks like going out into nature simply to listen to the voice
and spirit of nature as a whole, not focusing on a particular aspect of nature.
Nature is the mind that covers the earth. It is also the cycles and the movements
of the universe.
To listen to the earth as a whole is a different process. It is commenced in a
similar way, where we set the intention to listen to the voice of the earth.
Sometimes laying directly on the ground, belly down, supports this process.
Other times it occurs naturally as we open our heart to the possibility that the
earth is a wise being with more intelligence than one’s self.
When experiences come from these exercises they enable access to larger forms
of listening, such as listening to other planets or beyond the solar system. What
some may discover is that science in many ways has a story as well. Silence is
one way to see the universe from a central eye that can see many perspectives
like a prism of light. It is possible for something to be fact in one place and part
of a larger story in another. It is story that connects all things and it is also story
that can shift perspectives from understanding the basic structure of a body to
understanding the body as an organism to understanding the body as being. It is
a form of maturity in which we understand larger bodies in which we reside are
just like us in many respects.
The Restoration of the Innocence of the Heart
Within the heart lies the power to restore innocence. Innocence is at the center
of the ability to bring a gift of essence forward. Innocence is the starting point
from where we communicate with nature. When the heart is buried under layers
of experiences and judgments it is sometimes difficult to see clearly through this
vessel. Healthy adults should have regular heart clearing rituals to address this.
One form of this looks like a sacred bath of washing the heart. Such a bath
would contain salts, lavender, rosemary, and basil. Another form is to set aside a
time to go into nature and to play like a child. Another type of ceremony that
opens and restores the heart is to go into nature with the heart open seeking to
communicate from the heart with various energy centers and beings we
encounter in nature.
The Power to Communicate Thoroughly
Our ability to communicate and share determines our success in the world.
There exists a crystalline structure within the human design that functions in a
way like a linguistic Rubik’s cube that we can invoke to communicate to all
forms of life. This communication is, in fact, a creation that occurs that sets a
space where communication difficulties are circumvented and overturned.
One of the primary sources of conflict in the earth is a breakdown in
communication. Authentic communication is more than our words, it is our
dreams, emotions, expressions, heart’s desire, energy, and who we are being.
The crystalline Rubik’s cube of communication takes these aspects of
communication into account and engenders a space where what is authentically
being communicated has a way to be heard.
How this occurs in any domain is both a psychic communication and an
extrasensory experience of connecting with the overarching energy behind the
aspect of life we are communicating to. To do this a simple exercise is used to
install and activate this ability in the consciousness.
On the ground, preferably on a cement or rock surface, a six pointed star is
drawn. This star looks like two triangles on top of each other, one facing up and
the other facing down. At the point of each of the angles draw a circle. These
circles represent dreams, emotions, expressions, heart’s desire, energy, and
being. At each of these circles, place water infused with vanilla. In the center of
the star, place sage, grains, honey, and tobacco. This is an important step to
empower the direction of the energy of the star. The ground is then tapped,
signifying to the force of nature responsible for communication, the mountain,
that something important is occurring. Speak to the frequency of the mountain
requesting the ability to communicate to anyone and anything.
Draw a circle of either chalk or sifted ashes and water around the circle
requesting that all communication difficulties be circumvented and navigated
with grace, love, and ease.
Seeing the Soul
To see who we really are gives us the insight to either change or appreciate who
we are being. One aspect of our being can be seen and this is the aspect that
engages and corresponds to various areas of our lives. The aspect that can be
seen is only a small aspect of who we are, but it is vital and important,
particularly is sharing who we are. The what of what we are cannot be seen, nor
should it be. It is far more immense and large to be quantified or locked into one
shape or form.
When we see who we are being within a certain circumstance, an ability to
intervene becomes possible. We can then become aware if whether who we are
being is authentic for us.
One of the best ways to accomplish this is in a group setting. Within this setting
we can create intentional conversations about who we are being in an area of our
lives. Someone from the group can either act that out so we get a picture of who
we are being or the conversation can be engaged in such a way as to form an
inquiry into the deeper reality that underlies our perception of that area of our
lives.
Listening to the Land
There is a power we have within us to merge our minds with the mind of nature.
When we do this, much of the frustration compacted in our bodies gets released
into nature.
Nature can handle these energies best, actually feeding on what we can no longer
use. It is when we release to a certain point that we can begin to wake up to
what nature is doing around us.
Nature is always up to something amazing. When young people are seeking the
use of psychedelics they are seeking the merger with the force of nature. They
sense that life is supposed to be more. They also sense that their problems
cannot be solved through their normal waking consciousness, that something
special is needed to occur for them to reach into an awareness where their pain
can be released.
One way to do this is to lay on the ground listening to nature; taking in what is
going around and opening to the senses. As simple as this may seem, few
people chose to engage it.
This is because as abundant as nature is, there is a mechanism that is part of
modern culture that turns away from nature when we have troubles in our lives.
When we turn to nature with our problems, instead of going down normal routes
of self-medication, we have another world open to us that is set up to bring us
miraculous encounters with the sacred in a way that refreshes and takes care of
our souls.
When nature is briefed as to what is going on in our lives, it has an invitation to
intervene and to provide its support. We find that we are guided by birds in
strange places or the movements and patterns of the wind. The modern mind
wants to trick us that these things are not meaningful, yet with an invocation to
nature, these types of occurrences are sent from the source of nature.
Nature is a source of magic and medicine. This is why all indigenous cultures
honored the presence of nature, and approached it humbly knowing nature had
sacred gifts for the community to learn.
Approaching nature with the intention of the sacred, with the awareness that God
is in the trees, plants, animals, and creepy things sets us up to have a beneficial
relationship with nature.
From that place it is easier to intervene with magic. It is also easier to see the
magic that is already underway in our lives. Nature brings an alternative
intelligence that runs parallel to logical thought.
If we are to make it in the world, we need both and they both need to be engaged
in a balanced way.
Nature is the source of what wisdom traditions call the holy spirit. The reality is
that the word holy means healing and the world spirit translates to aspects and
intelligences within natural sources.
To be aware of each of the holy spirits in nature, their location, their names, and
what calls their energy to come into a family, a home, a tribe, or a business, is
what many people may see as magic. It is none other than capitalizing on the
gift box we were each born with to address the things in our lives.
To use magic or medicine to address our problems is not turning from God or
even acknowledging God is real. That is a personal matter. It is simply working
with the tools that each of us have.
If we have tools within our backyards and within our bones we are not tapping
into, then we fail to honor the fullness of ourselves. This is not wrong or a
problem, it is just that we are in many cases overlooking the resources that could
make our lives turn for the better through being unwilling to engage what we do
not understand.
Nature teaches us we do not have to be afraid of what we don’t understand.
Being a Blessing and Giving Blessings
The power to give reminds us our how prosperous we are. When we gift to
others we experience being abundant. We also experience our kingship or
queenship; our sovereignty. The natural economy of exchange in human
relationships is based on gifts.
Indigenous people knew this, and thus created giveaway ceremonies to nurture
the community energy that is created when each person is giving freely to
another.
From the place of sovereignty, the most powerful thing that can be given is a
blessing. The ability to cause blessings to manifest for others is a nonphysical
ability.
There are times when people may lament not having “enough” to give. They
may want to give more physical resources such as food, money, or shelter when
they see that it is needed.
What they can always give is support to someone’s purpose, encouragement,
prayers of independence and the opening of opportunities, or prayers for strength
and focus.
What people need is the imparting of blessings that change the course of their
lives. These blessings can make the difference between life and death when they
are inserted at the correct moment.
The determination of the correct moment is a cosmic expertise. In the human
realm, it is coordinated through the heart of divination and respecting our
abundant power to bless regardless of how our physical resources show our
abundance.
Blessings can then come in many forms, most often of which, is our words and
the work of our inner prayers.
There are many types of prayers. One of the most powerful prayers is expressed
in our commitment to someone or something. When we put action into that
commitment each day it becomes both a prayer and a blessing.
Transforming ourselves and our lives into blessings begins by asking ourselves
the question: who can we be that will be a blessing to the family, community or
world?
This does not have to be an individual process. In fact, none of the processes in
this book have to be individual. Each can be accomplished in a group setting.
This one in particular, is supported through community. The reason is, when
someone asks such a question in a group setting, the group has an opportunity to
witness the birth of something deeply human.
Whenever people witness the birth of new life, their lives are renewed. They are
taken to a place where what matters the most is at the forefront. The opportunity
to drop old judgments or resentments is present.
When we know who we are being as a blessing to world we are empowered to
give any number of blessings. Most importantly, is the unique blessing we are to
the world. This is the overarching blessing that facilitates any of the other
blessings we may gift in our time on Earth. It is this overarching blessing that
ensures that the life we are living is infused with the proper gratitude and respect
for life itself, as we become conscious that our being and our actions echo
throughout the universe at the sound of our very souls being expressed.
Imparting the Blessing of Peace
Peace is a fundamental blessing the world needs. In order to build the power and
awareness to bring peace to groups, we can start small.
Water is representative of peace, reconciliation, communication, cleanliness,
harmony, and flow. Water provides the essential nourishment for life to be in
action.
To offer peace or to impart peace is to facilitate the energy of water in the world.
Facilitation is the process of bringing something through the heart into the
world. Blessing is the process of bringing something through the hands into the
world. Both are acts of divine creation.
The first and primary way to gift peace to the world is to make peace with the
waters of the world. This looks like journeying to bodies of water and entering
into sacred time with the waters.
The process of building a bag of blessings is also the process of deepening
spirituality, expanding compassion, and healing that which we thought would
never be healed.
When the soul is filled with water it is filled with medicine. When we see the
eyes of one who is filled with medicine there is a light we cannot put our fingers
on. There is a sense they have glimpsed a world that others can only imagine.
The water invites mystical experiences of the sacred. It is the final realm of
religiosity. Ultimately, it is the path of followers of any religion to enter into
direct contact with the sacred.
The sooner the better for mystical union as far as life, the planet, and young
people are concerned.
Being a blessing also means understanding the nature of accountability in
relationships. People or the world may depend on our blessings in some way.
Not to show up when they are needing something sacred can have serious
consequences.
Of course, there is always a balance to every serious equation. There is a way to
hold and honor accountability and not be enslaved by it.
Simply honoring that accountability is an expression of your highest love and
mystical knowing lightens the load and breathes joy into the work of bringing
blessings where we are called or sent to bring blessings.
To create and enter sacred space is one of the most profound skills any human
being can possess. It signifies a magical ability to transform anything. It also
signifies a proclivity to exploring deeper connectivity to the source of all things.
Imparting the Blessing of a Deeper
Relationship with the Sacred
We all see so many in need of peace. When we go deeper to discern the cause of
what disturbs their original peace, we often find a disconnection with the sacred.
The offering of the blessing of a deeper relationship with the sacred has nothing
to do with our personal religious beliefs.
It is founded on who we choose to be as a blessing or contribution to the world.
To accomplish this process, it is a good place to start at the deeper part of the
water. This is the part of the water that seemingly has no location. This water is
accessed in times of great need.
This is the water that flows into consciousness when a radical spiritual
transformation occurs. It is a blessing directly from the Creator.
Most people alive today have been through some type of radical need for divine
intervention that they can think back to that initial moment when the crisis
occurred. At that moment, there was a point to which they called out to the
Creator.
The deeper part of the water is the in-between space of the merging of the crisis
and the consciousness of the Creator. It is not the crisis or the Creator, but a
meeting space between the two.
It is this space that holds the keys to ecstasy of union in the mystical experience.
From this space one can hold the awareness of crisis but not get caught up in
it. From this space one can hold the ecstasy of union of the Creator, but not
get caught up in it.
It is not bad to get caught up, as sometimes surrendering to these raptures of
consciousness is what the soul needs to know at that time.
For the purposes of being a profound and unique contribution—the contribution
and blessing we were designed for—the elders who have accomplished this over
the course of millennia suggest it is wise to journey into these realms, take what
is necessary, and find a place of balance and reconciliation as soon as possible.
Each of the outlining possessions of crisis and union with the Divine are polar
extremes. Neither someone caught in the travails of the soul nor someone drunk
with the wine of divine vision can be of assistance in the world, other than
providing their example.
What is important is that everyone gets that the sacred is much larger than any
religion or collective of wisdom expressed on earth. To argue for what is right
and what is wrong is to approach the sacred from the position of a child, who
would be considered a brat, in sacred terms, of course. When we are present to
what in life really matters—when our own lives are on the line and we have
sacrificed all that we could to bring about our contribution to life—is when the
deep waters of the sacred have a chance to move freely in the world.
It is the deeper waters that require our choice and conscious participation. Water
in general is interested in healing and that healing freely operates across the
globe. The deep waters, however, require a deeper work to come into this world.
But it is the deeper waters that leaves people talking till the end of time. Each
time the deep waters have entered the human psyche, we mythologize it and
make it legendary.
As we look over the course of history and mythology, it is easy to point to the
periods of high energy as a crossroads between the deep waters and the greater
energy field of humanity.
This is what occurs when prophets are activated. This is what occurs when
energy structures such as pyramids are erected. This is what occurs when a
medicine such as a sweat lodge or the shells of divination are gifted to humanity.
To carry the awareness, understanding, and technology of each of these points of
deep water entry is the hold the space for the deeper aspects of the sacred to exist
in the world. When these types of access points are open, the earth has a chance
to breath, cry, relax, laugh and experience love.
It is a type of cosmic elderhood that holds this space. More than leadership, it
offers waters unto the mother. It is the being of someone who was weaned
properly by good parents and returns the favor of nourishment, holding, and
spiritual growth to the one that birthed them.
It is the completion of a cycle of healing. At the end of this cycle, the child
emerges anew, with the ability to not only stand alone but to care for and nourish
its source.
It is a destiny that must be chosen, as to initiate anything is to choose to do
something. To do so causes reverence among humanity but reverence is never
the goal, particularly if one has ever glanced any minutia of a fraction of the
Creator’s realms.
This is where true reverence lies, but no one can convince another of this. It is
no one’s place to do that. That is the Creator’s responsibility. Humans are not
capable of this level of teaching even though many try.
Unless humans hold a space where authentic education occurs then they are not
equipped to transfer the intelligence that comes forth from the Creator’s realms.
This is where we as a species need to discern and hold our leaders accountable,
as this makes the difference that ultimately decides whether we live or perish in
extinction.
The Healer’s Source Field and the Ability to
Hold Sacred Secrets
Holding the space of the deeper waters of the sacred requires training, support,
and consistent commitment. It is not enough for humans to make a commitment
once. Often times we have to do it over and over again due to the incredible
trickster element that is part of our survival design.
The healer’s source field is the expanded presence that causes all aspects of life
to receive healing within that field. I call this field the “e field”. The letter “e”
can be traced back to the Egyptian hieroglyphic for outstretched hands. The
meaning of this glyph is joy, ecstasy, and peace. It is the peace of the divine
entering a body for inhabitation. The point of energetic evolution is to expand
our presence so that healing naturally occurs in our presence with the minimal
amount of work on our behalf.
This is because our basic design is not to work. We are not human doings. Our
basic design is to be. The process and fact of being is enough to occupy the
soul for many eternities.
Ceremony is the training ground and the tool to expand the healer’s presence.
The more ceremony the healer is involved in, the more the essence of the
healer’s gift is honed and expressed and the more the field of presence expands.
Eventually, this expansion takes on a form that impacts the spirit of Life itself,
causing the space of the healer to be as fresh water to each of the elements of the
universe. This is a space where magic happens naturally, but magic is neither
the goal or the intent, it simply is as an aspect of the process. The healer’s field
naturally shapeshifts but the healer is more concerned about the deeper aspects
of Creation.
Just as a tree is more concerned about its prayer of outstretching its arms to the
sun and its prayers of communicating the core of the earth, the healer is more
concerned with the sacerdotal duties of holding the being of being wholeness
and the ground of reality than the fact that the healer may be seen, just as trees,
travelling interdimensionally or pronouncing ancient words that defy the
gravitational pull of the planet.
The respect for the deeper movements of the sacred cause the keeping of these
secrets, not a hoarding of power or a game of kings and thrones. This respect is
the internal recognition of revelation as a process of grace and unfolding—just
as children do not need to know everything about reality at once for they need
the opportunity to enjoy playing but also to rejoice in the structure of loving
presences that hold their lives in order.
Everyone is afforded this gift. In a real sense, we are all children, being
delicately attended to by the forces that propel and monitor life. It is a mystery
how this is accomplished and it will stay just that. This integrity of the mystery
provides the spice we need to make the whole experience worth living.
Otherwise, we’d each call endgame and return to the Creator. It is the mystery
that infuses life as a game rather than a trial or a great work or a challenge.
These are aspects of the mystery of the game but they are not the game
itself.
The Gift of Being Self Sufficient and the
Blueprint of the Survival Design
Humans have a particular design. We know we are designed to cause
workability in our lives and to lay the ground work for enjoying the possibility
of being alive.
The point of our design is to grow past the needs of survival. One of the reasons
the world is in such turmoil is because of the stage of evolution the human
species willingly perpetuates.
Divination is one of the prophetic forms of gaining insight into the mind and will
of the Creator to release the burdens of survival and to grow into what we most
naturally came to be.
The prophecy of divination is that through deliberate divine intervention we
can cause. We can cause things to happen through our requests and
directives. It is through the request and directive of our collective mind that
we can release the needs of survival altogether.
Releasing the survival game is something that has been accomplished by very
few people in the species and no groups as of yet have accomplished this.
What makes the hearers of these ancient words so very important is for the first
time in history we have the possibility of sending this message out to everyone
to raise the planetary awareness that the time has come for us to come into our
ability to cause, direct and request divine intervention as a species.
If we were to look at earth from the perspectives of higher intelligences that have
gifted various evolutionary tools throughout our presence on earth, they would
explain that earth is something like a prison planet.
It is a prison planet because everyone is stuck inside their bodies. One of the
ways of explaining many of the intercrossing expressions of domination and
control is to call them interdimensional lockdowns, because they are locked into
a particular time and place. This particularly looks like being locked into the
game of survival for the majority of the population. Most of the more
impassioned forms of interdimensional lockdown such as chattel slavery or
forced prostitution are subsets of this survival game.
Even for those who are no longer experiencing the subsets of interdimensional
lockdown, the wounds from these experiences still tie to the survival game, thus
creating an interlocking system of domination within the soul.
Ontology expressed as highly developed and skilled coaching is one tool is
address this. Ontology is the study and facilitation of freeing up being. Being
cannot be defined, it simply is. It is not, however, a riddle or something
designated for intellectuals and people who meditate.
Another means of addressing interdimensional lockdown is through humor and
cognitive study. Humor stems from the trickster aspect of our nature that can
flow around or move through obstacles at ease. Nature has a profound sense of
humor, sometimes expressed through supernatural events or portals of
opportunities to overturn injustices and imbalances. Nature loves balance and
for every effort towards interdimensional lock nature opens a gateway to balance
what has been done against the spirit of Life.
Cognitively, the use of technologies that enable us to see light from internal
sources, such as internal retina scans enable us to address blockages and wounds
within our mental capacity caused by inherited and environmental
interdimensional lockdowns.
Seeing the picture of interdimensional lockdown from outside of the survival
agreement, the game appears as a big joke. Getting that it’s just a game is the
key that opens the awareness that it is a joke. From the place of joke, a whole
realm and subset of possibilities takes place just outside of interdimensional
lockdown perception.
Other aspects of our designs include the need to joke and play, the need to create
games, and of course all the survival needs such as love, safety, knowledge,
shelter, food, and water. The list is finite. Entering and working within the
realm of being gives an almost immediate insight to how we are designed.
When this occurs, an extra awareness is initiated. It is an awareness that
coordinates self-realization. The incarnation of this awareness gives us a sense
of being a blessing and a divinity.
Healing Survival Communities and Initiating
Sustainability
Our first survival communities are called families. Part of what we experience
as love is actually a survival imperative. On a physical level, we recognize we
need certain people to survive in cases of extreme loss. We have learned to
insulate and strengthen these bonds through a multitude of systems such as
celebrations, family traditions, religious ceremonies, and the way the family
handles outsiders.
This survival imperative works through every level of culture and society
including tribes, cities, states, nation states, corporations, and global
conglomerates.
The global village does not operate on the survival imperative but it also does
not exist in the third dimension. Until that is installed, which is likely beyond
the lifetime of those initially reading this book, it is foundational to lay the
groundwork for sustainable healing in whichever group we have the most
influence.
The process of healing means to make whole, to make holy, or to make divine.
To heal our survival communities of origin, our families, we need to first create a
healing organizing principle for the group.
Once upon a time, it was the elders who coordinated such things. This was the
value of the elderly and insured everyone had a place and purpose in the
survival.
At our evolved modern state in the game, we threw people away such as the
elderly, people who have soft skills such as artists, idealists, peacemakers,
healers, and young people who were born in the wrong place. Many of these
throwaway people have a natural place in organizing for our healing and
evolution. Some of what motivates that is the idea that there are too many
people on the planet.
For all the talk about overpopulation no one has bothered to ask the spirit of the
planet. The purpose of healers and diviners is to open a portal to scientifically
(this signifies that the results of the divination can be reproduced in other places
without the influence of the previous diviners) access and communicate what the
earth has to say about things that affect humanity as a whole.
Sustainability is one of those issues that needs to be forwarded to earth for
information. Healing of families, groups, and humanity as a whole is another.
Threats to life on earth, such as extinction of a subgroup of humanity, genocide,
warfare, and the circulating idea that there are too many people also needs to be
forwarded.
The idea behind this is that these types of problems where created within
collective interdimensional lockdown. In other words, the problems where
created from a low level of intelligence from one cosmic perspective. Thus,
accessing a higher perspective is a solution to bring an additional voice,
especially a voice whose very speaking brings wholeness.
Communicating with earth in particular requires absolutely no belief or faith.
Nor does it require the abandonment of beliefs.
The earth expresses love through action. Utilizing the skills of trained spirit
mediums, diviners, and portal openers in receiving the earth perspective is the
first step to knowing how to construct the organizing principle of community
with the resources we have.
The next step is following through on the actions suggested. For instance, in
case of a family or community that has experienced loss after loss, the earth may
give a large overview as to what causes these things to happen, when they began,
and how things are beginning to change for the better. Earth may then go on to
communicate, that there is value in an old tradition that was once lost and now
forgotten.
At that point, the details of the tradition would be given and the people then have
a choice to take action. After complete action is taken, the people will then have
an opportunity to see if reviving something ancient works. At this point, the
people can decide whether the earth has a spirit, whether it speaks, and whether
it took action when requested.
This is the process of establishing a relationship like any new relationship we
create. It is not about believing what someone tells us they are going to do or
getting recommendations from their friends. In a relationship, we learn through
going through “it” with someone or something.
This lets us know who the person or thing really is and lets us know what we are
made of too.
Creating Viable Business and Attracting
Business
Business is one of the most fascinating tools we have to impact our collective
evolution. In the future, business will be the leading role in world change and
inspiration, well in front of religions and nonprofits.
Viable businesses are living businesses that are rooted in the processes of life.
Their business is not separate from the needs and the mechanics of life. They
work in harmony with nature, creativity, innovation, human growth potential,
and reality creation. They also nourish the human element of business,
extending the healing umbrella of care and compassion to employees and
customers. They work in a flowing, flexible, joyful way, expressing a presence
of abundance, peace, and elegance.
These business speak directly to the needs of the population they serve, focusing
directly on what really opens up a life giving principle or freedom for their
population. Customers and employers really have more than a sense of concern,
they have a sense that they are loved, heard, seen, and acknowledged. These
business also use attraction in unconventional ways combining software
platforms for wider communication with shamanic frequency blueprints and the
usage of eighth generation future scans.
Future Business Trends
Among mediums and diviners, we often speak of a phenomena called ancestors.
This is a multilayered composition of frequencies that provide insight into the
past, parallel realities, future trends, perspectives, needs, and events.
One of the simplest ways to tap into this field of frequency and intelligence is to
speak and generate the intention of an undertaking as what is for the best benefit
of those who will live eight generations from now.
Eight is the number of infinity, and relates to commencing an action that moves
hyperdimensionally in a timeless domain. It is a technology of recognizing our
responsibilities as the living ancestors birthing the future as well as setting
ourselves up to be their guides from a parallel timeless space.
When this occurs, we can tap the stream of where humanity wants to go.
Business is an obvious place to look because that’s where the heat is at the
moment. People and groups are charged by money and financial transactions at
the moment.
From a future business trends perspective, tapping into what people are really
after in both the immediate, short term, and long term, providing them with that
in a harmonious way, generates frequency blueprints of future business trends.
When ancestral or sidereal dimensional insight is applied we can generate
forecasts that show the future trends of particular businesses. These forecasts
are called eighth generation dimensional scans. This technology in particular is
a gift from a higher intelligence for humanity to see clearly the track it is on and
intentionally increase its collective intelligence.
Creating New Jobs That Feed Us
The future of governments, businesses, religions, and nonprofits depend on
nurturing authentic jobs and allowing the creation of new jobs.
New jobs are being created all over the place. It is not a problem to create the
jobs, it is the process of nourishing those jobs and supporting their development
that constitutes allowing those jobs to come into creation.
There are certain skills that a large segment of the population possesses that
could make a difference in the quality of life of Life Itself.
These skills include the range of abilities that fall under healing. They are
oracles, coaches, facilitators, mediums, diviners, healers, caregivers, teachers,
storytellers, and erotic priests. These types of professions are the waters of the
planet. They restore the lands made barren by war. There are very little places
on this planet that have not been touched by the violence of war.
The way in which these professions are held in culture is the way we treat
waters. When we think the water is running out, it is likely the healers are in
need of acknowledgement or support. When the waters are toxic, it is likely that
the healers are not installed in their jobs. When there are increased terminal
illnesses and tragedies one after the other, it is likely the healers have gone away
or are not functioning as community organizers.
As cultures and groups we were each given mechanisms, systems, tools, and
processes to heal ourselves from anything. This includes illnesses that have yet
to be identified and illnesses that stomp modern scientists.
Healers were always intended to work in harmony with science and in some
places in the world they do.
A great way to start with creating new jobs is to acknowledge the gifts of healing
that so many carry. The other way is understanding and spreading awareness of
how their gifts can help the community. Another way is to honor the waters of
the world through doing ceremonies for the water for cleansing, reconciliation,
and purification.
Lastly, one of the most powerful ways of creating new jobs is to know it is
possible. The idea of underempolyerment or unemployment is not something
that is part of our design.
There is an old saying that goes like this, “God ain’t never made a mouth he
can’t feed.” The idea behind this is that with every person created, there is a
value and purpose to that person that is to be received. In the reception of that
purpose, value is exchanged, thus engendering an economy of flow, gift, and
purpose.
The Economy of the Gift
Ultimately the destination financial economies will achieve is the economy of
the gift. This is how we are designed and why when we receive a gift something
more than happiness occurs to us, we actually perceive a glimpse into another
reality.
The process of receiving gifts helps us to acknowledge the world is an amazing
place. When we receive gifts something in us grows, something human.
There are some who experiment with creating this type of economy now, living
almost completely without money. This process, however, takes centuries.
There is a deep healing that is occurring that needs to be well established and
underway in addition to these powerful experiments.
Healing wounds that took sometimes two thousand years to create require more
than a couple of decades to see results. For now the world is in desperate need
of healers, who are trained, peer reviewed, multidisciplinary, multicultural and
multidenominational. We need healers with the intelligence to facilitate healings
that are tapped into the network of planet wide healing.
The Injustice of Poverty
The first thing we need to acknowledge about poverty is that it is not wrong and
that is not something that can be overcome overnight. It is a process of
transferring light between dimensions that allows for poverty to be uplifted.
When a family or group involves itself in this process, first creating a group
healing organizing principle, it can begin to address the wounds of the initial
shocks of poverty.
These are initial shocks because somewhere in our memory none of us were
poor. It is within the deep memory and recesses of our mental capacity that we
must journey to find the root to these types of troubles.
It is there that light must be brought and exchanged in a healing process for
movement to occur in this dimension. Healing poverty is healing the wounds
relative to suffering, cast systems, genocide, and war. They are not as they
appear to be on the surface. They are multilayered, systemic, and part of a
deeper flux of gateways.
The healing waters first come to this quandary to suggest that poverty is an
expression of isolation in gift, purpose, and connection. Generating this
connection is a function of community and is why addressing this trouble in a
group setting is easier than doing it alone.
One tool when a group is convened to begin the work of healing is to create a
stable community space such as a hill of earth or some other representation of
the fruits of abundance. This should be a permanent place; acknowledged as a
place owned by everyone and no one. When this is not possible, the people
should build the space and a part of the earth that was used to create it should go
home with each person in the group.
At this place the group would create regular movements to address the energy of
healing between dimensions that causes the situation of poverty to begin.
This requires the support of ancestors, since it is them that experienced the initial
shock. For some groups, this is an aspect of warfare that has been waged against
them. In this case, a multilayered healing is needed to address these wounds.
Such a healing would need at minimum of five years of participation to see life
changing results.
The Holy Spirits of the Family
Each family has protective overarching presences that keep its well being in
check. This is the case for families as small as two as well.
Part of these healing spirits or holy spirits are certain ancestors in the lineage of
the family. Others are beings that live in nature such as oceans, trees, and even
swamps that can be contacted via song to bring their presence more deeply into
the family for a communal healing.
Livingly Safely in Community
To prevent violence in a family or community, one solution is to speak to the
earth to nourish the healing presence of the group. This translates in our world
to the expansion of the energies of the heart.
This is accomplished through naming the group at a hill. On the hill, offer sifted
ashes of wood in a circle stating that their purpose is the protect the community
or family from outbursts of violence. In the center, a vast amount of water is
poured. This water is poured into the heart and peace of the community.
Milk is also poured, to nourish the healing presence of the family or community.
What occurs after this is an increased presence to gratitude and opening to what
each person brings to the community.
How to Know the Will of God
Knowing the will of God is shrouded in mystery. Many people are confused
between their will and the will of God. Other people, would reason that their
suffering is the will of God.
When we check this, we see there is no reliable process to determine the will of
God. It is often a haphazard, hit or miss process, relying on internal
conversations that are mostly a mixture of divine inspiration and inherited values
from the past and the environment.
To access the will of God with certainty, humans have used divination to train
this perception. Divination is a training ground that automatically aligns the
human will with divine will, releasing the separation and bondage that comes
into the picture when the two have been disharmonious is some way.
In some cases, facilitation is required to link the two, with keen conversations
centering on the cleansing and clarity around personal integrity.
Integrity is the place to look to begin to know what is from God and what is not.
For instance, if it is not in integrity with the personal will to cause suffering or
punishment for not knowing a particular fact then this is not the will of God.
God does not act outside of our personal integrity and our personal
integrity does not act outside of the will of God.
The illusion in all of this is that there is a separation between God and our
desires. The radical oversight that is almost never investigated thoroughly
is that this separation occurs in language, not in a higher realm or
somewhere secret.
When we investigate the language we are using to speak about God’s will we
will discover whether we are in integrity with what we really believe and
whether what we really believe is a part of God’s will.
What this does ultimately is it takes people off the path of being guided by
human sources. This takes the power away from people who like to tell people
what God is saying, and causes the person seeking answers to actually have to
think for themselves.
There is balance. As there is a time for council and there is a time to rely on
one’s own inner flame. The body knows when it is time for either.
The Right Way of Walking the Earth
There are sacred ceremonies where we enact a harmonious way of living with
Life. The way we walk on earth is our gift to generations that will be here long
after we are gone. To care about this gift is to send love through dimensions. To
do this supports the structure of life and existence and makes us come alive.
There is one right way for walking on the earth for you. That way is not anyone
else’s way. The way someone walks is a special and unique communication to
forces that live within the planet and forces that are beyond the planet.
There are some cultures who practice walking, sometimes not even being aware
that a sacred communication is forming between a network of very large and
ancient beings as they express their unique touch.
There are other ceremonies that draw from the spiritual energies of animals,
walking in the way that they do, looking out for the little things. This looks
beautiful and rhythmic on the surface. The actual experience of the walk and
dance is entering into a dimension of carrying abundance, blessings, and
relationship to nature such that the life around the dance is showered in the
gentle rain of shimmering blessing.
When a community does this, the people register themselves as a blessed people
or a chosen people. When individuals walk in this way they communicate their
most sacred prayers. A radical opening occurs beneath their feet aligning them
with the forces that constitute their very existence in a system of reciprocity.
This is the technological groundwork for the energetic experience called luck.
One cultural manifestation of this is with gay men. It is part of the gay mysteries
as to why some gay men may swish or walk in patterns. If one were to view
these patterns from space they form elegant designs on the earth, like crop
circles.
The energy gay men use to engage life is received by the planet as a nourishing
energy that etches geometric principles that support life.
There are a variety of different walks, some of which immolate collective
genetic patterns. For the gatekeeper, they simply respond to the energy moving
through them as a collective transmitter of some type.
To support the expansion and outgrowth of this energy supports a type of
collective luck. It nourishes the collective in such a way that life is infused with
a greater awareness of magical occurrences. This is one way the epic fabric that
makes our eyes shine with happiness and merriment is distributed throughout
culture.
The Blessing of Comfort
To comfort someone’s soul, take ash and milk and pour it on their behalf. Speak
their names from the heart as if your heart is going out to comfort them flying on
a white comforting cocoon.
To pour this over a body of water, such a lake or the ocean is good. It can also
be poured in a bowl and candle of a feminine presence lit to illuminate the forces
of comfort over that person.
The Power to Bless Someone as Sacred
To call someone’s name is a form of blessing that person as sacred. The way we
say someone’s name can bless them or lower their frequency.
To bless someone as sacred ensures the safety and preservation of what is sacred
within them that belongs to the greater community.
Many people choose to leave this world because they were not blessed as sacred
at birth. For this reason, many cultures institute the blessing of children as a
very serious act. They even appoint people whose duty is to monitor the
instillation of children as sacred.
In modern cultures, these persons would be considered God parents. These
persons take care of the part of the child that is God. They nurture and develop
that part, often times guiding them or monitoring from behind the scenes,
attuning them with the subtleties of the destiny unfolding.
One powerful methodology of blessing someone as sacred is to create a
ceremony called The Signing of the Name. In this ceremony names are etched
on an ancient source, such as a stone from a mountain. The process of etching
the name occurs while there are drums and singing and everyone is present to the
purpose of the ceremony. An invocation is done to alert all of the helping spirits
that a ceremony for signing the name is present.
After such a ceremony, a person has a subtle idea their entire life has been
blessed. It is the technology behind the African American spiritual I know I’ve
Been Changed, The Angels in Heaven Signed My Name.
Ceremony is the technology of a temporary autonomous zone for declaring and
establishing heaven on earth. This is why once people enter ceremony they
never want to leave, finding going back to their normal lives drooling until the
next ceremony arrives.
They experience something called a “ritual high”. Their truth is they come home
for a little then they have to turn back to the prison world of interdimensional
lockdown. The trick is to free up one’s dimensional presence. The process of
becoming of medicine person is designed to do this. The process of divination,
which can be termed the process of calling out the divine in someone or the
process of establishing someone as divine, can also do this.
The ceremony of signing the name is a another process designed to reduce the
shock of moving between ritual space and modern realities. With this type of
energy surrounding the person, it is easier for them to carry a little drop of
heaven within them through whatever reality they may need to journey.
Actions of Grace from Before You Were Born
Each of us have sacred agreements we made before entering the earth plane. It
is when these agreements are disrupted in some way, sometimes through
spiritually impoverished environments and other times through our willful
ingesting of toxicity, we nullify these agreements, sometimes to the point of
nullifying entire sections of our divine contract.
The result of this is often deep stagnation, unhappiness, and sometimes illness,
accidents, and situations of violence and addiction.
This, of course, is not the sole cause of all of those things; however, it does
account for a large amount of these things.
The first means to address this is in prayer. These are deeper prayers where we
acknowledge we nullified part of our contract or had part of our contract
nullified on our behalf. The point is not to blame or to take on blame. This is
not about feeling grief, guilt or shame. It is okay to feel whatever needs to be
felt during the process, but if these types of emotions are still occurring with
regards to the contract, then the original prayer is still underway.
The prayer does not have to happen in one sitting. These are not issues we got
into on overnight so that cleaning and reconstitution of the contract is not
something that we can get back into overnight.
The next thing that can be accomplished is to take cleansing baths for this
regard.
Recipes for cleansing baths are all over the place. Simply using fresh herbs is a
good start. The powerful part of these baths are the prayers that activate the
presences within the water to cleanse the specific parts of the contract that have
been forgotten or nullified.
This can include habits that block the reception of these certain aspects of the
contract, or that hold us back in some way from carrying out what we feel is a
part of our natural expression.
When cleansing these habits are addressed in this way, giving them a sacred
container in which to be cleansed, the process of release is more thorough, as it
addresses in an authentically holy way that which causes excess buildup of
spiritually unproductive rituals.
Finally, a frank conversation needs to be had. This is a conversation that occurs
after all the previous work. By this time, a person needing this should have
already meditated on the aspects of their calling, passion, or gift they did not do.
This includes all the things they knew to be, yet did not due to some
conversation or obstruction. These are things that only the person can do, as
they are the only ones in their life with the idea to do them. The key here is
maximum responsibility. The need is then to recommit to the Creator that what
they came to do will be done. Then they need to go do that with immediacy.
There are times when a gift of atonement, such as a sacrifice is necessary to
address the energetic constrictions created in this type of nullification. Mostly,
these types of sacrifices are of cherished beliefs, assumptions about people,
habitual ways of manifestation, blaming others, asking to many questions about
why a traumatic episode occurred and any other thought or activity that gets in
the way of the deep purpose of one’s life time.
There is a certain rigor and discipline with one’s self needed to complete this
type of work. It is a no excuses type of attitude to carrying out the will of the
Creator. When a person has been briefed many times over through multiple
sources what this will is, then the only thing to do is to devote oneself to
carrying out that will regardless of what may or may not be present within their
lives.
In this way, the job is not the wait on the Creator for a healing, transformation, or
miracle. The job is to take on the responsibility for making a miracle happen
and go forth with the full intent that the Creator’s work will be done. It is not
easy and many times it will not be pleasurable but it is necessary and that is
enough for anyone who authentically loves God to go forward. It is said that
whether we stay still we die, whether we go backwards we die and whether we
go forward we die. It is better to go forward as then at least a gift may come
from what inevitably we must all face.
Reducing Deception and Manipulation
We do not want to admit that in many instances, even with the people closest to
us, we are being deceived and manipulated in some way.
Almost all of these mechanisms of deception are not personal, they are part of
the normal survival program of our collective response to the trauma of living
against nature.
Thus, to simply acknowledge that this is an aspect of a collective illness that
functions through us and in other people close to us is a step in a healing
direction. We have an opportunity to take responsibility in the way we
manipulate and deceive ourselves, which ultimately draws us closer to nature—
the reality of what actually is.
When we are in this reality, no one can convince us of a lie and we do not
convince ourselves of lies.
One process for facilitating this looks like going out into nature. Speaking to the
part of us that is at home with the reality that is, we can say that we want to clear
the way to experience this part of ourselves more clearly and thoroughly.
We then offer something to the spirit of nature. The spirit of nature from this
perspective communicates to our deeper knowing of what is. There is no
separation between the two.
Thus inward and outward actions are aspects of the same awareness in motion.
Such offerings need to be sensitively derived. For instance, for some an offering
of vodka or rum would be appropriate. For others, it is best to buy Florida water
from a store or to make a water that is infused with flower essences and milk and
present that as an offering.
Certainty and Control in Finances
To cause certainty and control in finances, place a written document inside a
small wooden box, like a cigar case. The written document should have your
ideal way of drawing money to yourself that is realistic; meaning, something you
are in the process of doing. Write down a breakdown of what you are making,
how you are making it and other details that automate and smooth the process of
business.
This is sort of like a business will that is the otherworldly equivalent of a
business plan.
The box is taken to a mountain. Doing this is important. This is not an exercise
that can be visualized. It is buried in the rocks of the mountain usually with an
offering tobacco on top of the box. Some people roll the document in tobacco or
place it in the box with dirt gathered from a courthouse, a financial center, and a
graveyard.
Of course, these are traditional ways to accomplish this and there are appropriate
aspects of improvisation depending on sensitivity and personal appropriateness.
For instance, a substitute for the dirts could be coins, actual cigars, and a potion
made of liquefied candies, rum, and coconut milk.
Each ingredient works in a particular way. For instance, the potion of liquefied
candies makes the request interesting the carry out. The other world receives it
as a kind of game. From their perspective whatever is serious and grave in this
world is just another aspect of nature.
Multiple Streams of Blessings
To cause multiple streams of blessings to come into your life, go to a moving
body of water and offer a variety of different fruits and fruit juices. At the
beginning of the offering, using coconut milk to enter the water first opens the
way for good fortune to follow.
You then enact that process through following the milk with the fruits of good
fortune.
The way in which you speak or sing during this occasion determine the nature of
the blessings. For instance, to cause a child to receive honors in a particular
sport or academic arrangement, these fruits could be spread for that purpose.
For such a purpose a spreading of grains with honey on top on a large rock with
the same expressed purpose would coordinate an additional otherworldly source
of affect for the offering.
Multiple streams of income relate to a mixture of honey, cinnamon, coconut
milk, and rum, poured in multiple places such as the river, nature, the mountain,
the graveyard, the ocean, the road, and the office. There should be at minimum
seven places for this type of work, and if possible they should make a seven
pointed star.
Then hold a colorful celebratory gathering where people eat fruits and seeds,
sing songs, and tell stories. The point of the gathering is to promote the energy
of celebration, not to celebrate one thing in particular. It is the experience of
being merry for the sake of being merry.
The celebration is a central part of the process, because nothing special is
occurring, it’s just another expression of merriment and joy that is natural to
being a human being in abundance and sacred presence.
There is, of course, a logical business side to creating multiple streams of
income. Business coaches and other professionals should be consulted to put
together the logical aspects of the plan.
The above process helps open and identify those opportunities, or energize them
if they are already present. When approached from a collective angle, the
process helps create business, jobs, and opportunities for communities.
The Gift of Beauty and Love
For most churches, business, and nonprofit organizations to be more successful,
increasing the frequency of beauty and love around the property and social
expression amplifies to natural attraction of success.
This can be done in a number of ways. One means is to plant flowers of
different colors including purple and white.
Another means is to sprinkle honey around the place. If this is not possible then
creating a central place where people can come together to address the overall
feel and reception of the organization is another means. This can be a created as
a mobile space, made from the creativity of those present.
This place is like an altar with the specific purpose of generating a higher
frequency of beauty and love. The idea is to generate a higher frequency of
beauty and love for the sake of beauty and love, not to get more money or
another mundane goal.
On this occasion, we are working with an energy arch, an overarching presence
that increases the internal value of the organization, causing it to be loved and
attractive because that is its gift to the world.
Thus, this place needs to be regularly tended to by the group, not just one person
or a committee. Everyone needs to contribute to the beauty and the love in some
way through making an offering that expresses their beauty and love.
The arrangement of the generating love ceremony can take place at different
levels of appropriateness for the culture of each organization.
What is important is to be aware that this exercise will impact the fabric of the
organization, making it a friendly, easier, more welcoming place to be.
The Gift of Intuition
One of the means to increase one’s intuitive capacity is to bond with the
movements and breath at the tops of trees. To focus one’s energy at these
centers and to dance with them, visualizing the opening of the top of the head,
increases the ability to attune to the forces of nature and spirituality.
One other means of doing this is: On a similar occasion when bonding with
nature has occurred, go to a place beside a moving body of water. At this place,
sprinkle milk, honey, flowers, and beautiful smelling waters at the edge of the
stream. The prayer for such an offering should include a request for a deeper
awareness and spiritual presence to the reality of life.
Dedicate the prayer to all of sacredness and to love sent to the endings of never-
ending eternities.
Medicating on these types of closing riddles reconstruct the third eye as a crystal
that turns. When the third eye is constructed as a turning crystal, increased
psychic awareness is probable.
The Power to Make the Works of One’s
Hands Sacred
Hands are the expression of the higher self. The higher self is a multilayered
being consisting of multiple realms of being, energy centers, and larger beings or
groups.
To establish the works of the hands is to be in the business of selfhood. In other
words, to establish the works of the hands is to be in the business of being a self
generating life principle.
Healing or any creative form is one aspect of this. Healing is the process of
circulating energies, like the Taoist microcosmic orbit, through a medium of
expression.
Many times we know what the works of our hands ought to be but we do not
know how to cause a clear medium of exchange or how to establish the work in
the market (a field of collective thought).
Speaking what we want to do from a mountain is one step in this process.
Another step is to wash the hands in a solution of any type such as salt water,
milk water, rain water and honey or a combination thereof. The washing of the
hands should be accomplished in a sacred manner, singing the purpose of
healing. Part of this solution should be bathed in, from head to toe. Another
part of the solution should be spread upon a river bank. Another part of the
solution should be placed on a large rock atop the words of what we want to do
written in chalk to evaporate and be washed through the natural process of
nature.
I’ll Say A Little Prayer For You
There are a multitude of types of prayers that produce different effects. One type
of prayer is the lighting of a candle.
Whenever someone is experiencing low vitality, depression, anxiety, or it is
difficult for them to put some work or project in motion, lighting a candle for
one of those intentions transfers the type of energy they are needing at the time
to go do what they need to do.
This is also a wonderful way to send a thank you to someone, sending them an
extra boost of energy. The impact and affect of the flame depends upon the
words and intentions in which the flame is lit.
To some degree it depends on the color and makeup of the candle but that is for
persons who work at a deeper level with this healing art.
For the average person, simply lighting a candle on someone’s behalf with an
uttered prayer is enough to signify to the universe a powerful expression of life
and love is occurring.
It is a way to shed light on an otherwise dark path, to provide a lamp of
inspiration on a road that would otherwise be dim.
It is a means of transferring support.
Increasing Fertility and Maternity
For women who seek to have children, here are some basic steps that can be
taken to increase the likelihood of pregnancy:
1. Wash the face in a solution of living water. Primary this water should

consist of fresh basil, parsley, and milk; preferably organic milk from a
goat.
2. Wash the head in a similar solution. The washing of the head should be

done by other women who have mothered children. This is a sacred time of
initiating the new mother-to-be into maternal energies. The women should
sing songs relative to soothing children and the comfort that mothers bring.
The purpose of this ceremony is to show the new mother-to-be that her
child is supported in this world and she is supported in a healthy pregnancy.
3. Make an offering of fertile eggs, milk, and shea butter beside a tree that

is close to a flowering body of water. Ask that this tree be representative of

the fruits of the womb, strengthening and fertilizing the womb to be a
nourished environment to carrying a child.
4. Go to the river and swim, merging with the forces of the water and

attuning to the possibility of freedom and birthing a child with ease. As the
body surrenders to the water, allow the mind to surrender to the change in
life of carrying a child. Embrace that this is a wanted change and a sacred
change. This forms a type of pregnancy baptism. Through cleansing, the
new mother to be is supported in a new life of flowing love and expression
towards the sacred through the creation of children.
5. A prayer in the light of the full moon in a garment of pure green

prepares the woman to enter into the feminine energies of birthing a child.
This prayer should be one of deep reverence to the spirits of nature for their
creativity and ability to make a good future as well as to the Creator.
Wearing the symbol of a moon on the third eye is advisable from this point.
The idea is to intentionally embrace the energies of feminine divinity, grace,
elegance, and motherhood at the same time, creating a dramatic shift in the
body’s energetic hospitality to receiving a new child.
Healthy Children
The insurance of a healthy pregnancy and the health of children after pregnancy
can be accomplished through a variety of methodologies and techniques.
One such technique is the construction of talismans for each of these purposes.
Some talismans implore the use of the sacred word, writing the words of holy
scriptures such as psalm 1 that pertain to the growth and development of
children.
Other times, one can tap directly into one’s one divine inspiration and speak
sacred words in a talisman to facilitate this purpose.
The talisman should consist of a blue stone, something gold, and something
beautiful that represents the picture of a healthy future of mother, child, and
family. The last drop should be a drop of honey to cause continuity to the vision.
For the health of the child, a green stone, a small piece of cloth from the father,
and milk should be placed in a bag. The bag should be washed with olive oil
and placed in a solution of ash and a brown liquor. The intention of health
should be placed in the talisman through spitting in just as it closes up.
These types of creations may seem odd at first, but it is workability that is the
primary focus here. These talismans hold and draw in the energy of their
intention.
These do not take the place of prenatal medical care and the support of
competent elders. These are intended to be in addition to what is standard for
this type of care.
Protecting Children for Life
One of the things every child needs is a ceremony performed on their behalf to
set their life in a beautiful motion.
One specific way to accomplish this is to consult a diviner to divine for specific
things the consciousness of the child is requesting as they enter the earth plane.
Many times the spirit of the child already knows what tools they will need upon
arrival to ensure their time on earth meets their intentions for coming.
Another way to take care of this is a ceremony of communally welcoming and
blessing the child. In this type of ceremony the child is given a special blanket.
The blanket is prayed over before hand to imbue it with special properties of
protection relative to the child.
The child is then wrapped in the blanket during the ceremony while they are
welcomed, especially through the laughter and playing of other children, but also
through an out pouring of kind words, heart energy, and blessing energy that
looks like the rapid waving of the figures as they are stretched above the head.
Other rituals for this purpose may include rituals to the spirit of the road done by
the father to protect the path of the child as they walk through life from all
physical harm and events that distract them from their purpose.
Such a ritual should include sincere words and an offering from the heart to the
spirit of the road designated as representative of the child’s path.
Protecting Children from Predatory Energies
One of the biggest problems we face globally are predatory energies that seek
children. The problem is not in protecting the children, the problem is in having
honest conversations about the prevalence, causes, and major energy feeders of
this type of energy. When these wounds have gone unaddressed for generations,
they leave an open hole for them to continue to take root in future generations.
The solving of this requires the courage to call these energies out and to have
hard conversations about how they got into a family or a group in the first place.
Someone will have to be held accountable for taking on the job of protecting the
family or group from these energies. Quite coincidentally, someone always
incarnates into a family or shows up in a group with this particular “medicine”
installed in their bones.
In the meantime, protecting children from these energies can be done through
various means.
One means is through deliberate energetic exchange with the ancestors. This can
be something like a black candle and a sack of major protective herbs like
nettles, elderberry, black walnut, and angelica. The spirit of nettle in particular,
when notified of a protection issue springs into action in a whirling whipping
motion.
The act of requesting ancestral involvement is more than most people have
done. This sets the stage for the radical intervention in the child’s path,
intervening in any future time streams where these predatory energies are near
the child.
Another more interesting talisman would consist of sharp metal objects, nettles,
osha root, and elements of the body of a black bear.
Osha root alone forms a natural protective scan of children. It pinpoints
predatory energies within the vicinity of the child and immediately removes
them without question or hesitation, working like an intelligent machine.
When combined with these other elements or when created by a skilled
talismanic maker, these types of energies can no longer enter the child’s domain,
even if they come through people the child is close to. The energies will simply
we unable to reach the child.
As families, communities, and groups, larger efforts can be taken in this vein.
An entire shrine can be built to monitor the protection of the children of these
groups. This is more than a group altar and requires the facilitation of someone
trained in the art of divining and building shrines.
These shrines allow for talismanic energies to be distributed in a stronger, wider
reaching fashion. When children are concerned, every single protective measure
that can possibly be taken needs to be seriously entertained.
Protecting Neighborhoods and Schools
There was once a very bad neighborhood in Greensboro, NC. Like most bad
neighborhoods, there were drugs, prostitution, and violence up and down the
street. It wasn’t safe to go out at night and definitely not safe for children to
play.
At some point, a group of women who went to the church at the corner of the
street gathered. These women were fed up with the state of the street. So they
decided to do something radical.
They went to each house cleansing the houses in holy water and anointing them
with oils that contained their prayers. They did the same thing to the entire
road.
It was a miracle as the street completely turned around and is now a pleasant
place to sit on the porch and hackle with neighbors.
The physical prayer over certain roads or schools is a powerful tool in
addressing issues of protection. Physical prayers include cleaning things up,
literally, and applying the energy of prayer to crucial spots such as entry ways,
corners, walk ways and cracks.
These types of physical prayers include holy waters, herbal waters, essential oil
waters, oil infusions, sacred smokes and salt scrubs.
What makes this really powerful is when a group of people are involved in the
process. When verbal and spiritual prayers are facilitated through physical
substances, they leave a mark that creates an energetic presence.
Part of the reason the neighborhood was “bad” or there is violence is schools is
that they are not energetically clean. One way to address this is through personal
protection or protecting people and children you know will be in these
environments. The same ingredients above apply to that aspect of the process.
This is not a religious issue, it is a spiritual and energetic issue. We do not have
to agree on the same religion to distinguish what energies support life and what
energies do not. That is the bottom line that connects us all. We all are living
and we want to live. From that common point, gathering people for clearing the
space of energies that are not for life is the first step. The next step is to invite
and install the energies that are for life.
To invite and install the energies that are for life, anointing doors with oils---oils
infused with the essence of flowers such as rose, jasmine, and lavender---opens
the gate. Anointing the corners of rooms, window corners and other intuitively
recognized key places is also a great thing to do.
For schools in particular, earth ceremonies have a large part to play in the safety
of these institutions. Such prayers and offerings insured forth in this domain
need to be renewed yearly.
It is great that people pray for schools and do so consistently. In the vein of
seriously protecting children, it is wise to be very hands own with sending
spiritual energies that promote and protect the health and development of the
children.
Career Counselors and Diviners of Purpose
Most people are not aware of what they are suppose to be doing on earth.
Divination is the orientation process that gifts the tailored messages as to what
we need to be up to that facilities our radical presence in life.
Our careers are intended to be expressions of our sacred sovereignty. They are
not something that should be divined through tests or through trends in the job
market. The job market is intended to be sourced in the creativity we bring
to it.
This entails a different approach to the responsibility of participating in civic life
organized from the ground up, rather than depending on governmental
institutions or worse the presiding overseer of a particular governmental
institution to do what we can do for ourselves.
In schools, guidance counselors and career counselors are holding the space
where trained diviners should be. The reason children leave school not knowing
what to do is not because of a grand conspiracy implanted in the school system,
it is because we are not engaging the resource of prophetic divination to access
and address the students needs from the perspective of the earth.
From the perspective of the earth, education needs to take a different direction.
This is a direction that promotes the increase in collective intelligence. The
disharmony between science and spirituality is in need of a mythic resolution if
education is to do the work of drawing out the training of purpose that is a
movement of energy and intelligence between worlds.
We are at a point in our evolution were we cannot ignore this any longer. If we
do, we run this risk of generating catastrophes that we will learn were self
imposed, not imposed from some divine authority.
The earth is in need of people who are in harmony with their original essence in
all forms and areas of their life. This means that if people are designed to be
peacemakers, mask makers, healers, drum makers, storytellers, gatekeepers or
some other form of art, communities need to create innovative processes for
manufacturing structures for these professions.
In this way, young people won’t have to choose between their nature, passion,
and making money. They won’t have to dull their senses and intelligence just to
make ends meet only to harm themselves to dull the pain of nullifying their
spiritual contracts, taking on more than their fair share of the integrity balance
for the culture that refuses to mature.
If this happens in a community it is extraordinary. For most young people,
however, it is likely not to happen. In such an event, protecting the
consciousness before they move into working for a living is a wise thing to do.
This is a type of sending off ceremony, designed to insulate the young people as
they go into to territories that are not designed to facilitate their purpose or
distract them in some way from developing their intelligence.
This type of ceremony is indigenous to the family or community that supports
the young people. The simple act of acknowledging this directive sends an
important message to the young they are not forgotten and the adults are taking
as much responsibility as possible to protect them and make life a more livable
place.
Support and Acknowledgement
Support and acknowledgement are necessary parts of the human journey. We
need to have outside confirmation that we are on the right track.
With innovations, however, support and acknowledge is often lacking in the
process of creation. This is because most people only support a thing when the
thing is seen in its final stage. Otherwise it is just an idea to them and not all
people see ideas as powerful.
In such a case, before a project is begun, an invisible network of support needs
to be created. In the world, this manifests as unfailing and impeccable
confidence. In the inner realms this looks like a comprehensive communication
with the beings or spirit allies responsible for the inspiration of the innovation in
question.
Before the process is began, a commitment to see the project through till the end
should be addressed openly in a safe spiritual context.
For instance, if it is a work that comes from the ancestors or spirit in general, it
can be addressed at a shrine to the ancestors or somewhere in nature; or with
someone trained to nurture the growth of seedling projects.
What occurs in this process is a prayer for the completion of the process, that the
project is a complete expression of the Creator, and that the project is received
fairly. In this case, the pouring of waters or some other sacred gesture to nourish
the overarch of the process is a vital touch.
In this way, a communications network is set up to transfer the responsibility for
motivation and acknowledgement to an invisible source.
Thus, when the world is not feeling up to acknowledgement, the person can
carry an inner knowing that they are in the right place doing the right thing at the
right time.
Gatekeeper Installation and Reconciliation
Gatekeepers are beings designed to nourish the source and strength of life for
communities and groups. Their gifts are in opening various types of portals
between worlds: from portals in nature to portals within a star system to
communications between parallel realities. The maintenance of the health of
these portals support the health of culture and evolution as a whole. Evolution in
a large part comes through these portals, as these are on the forefront of human
imagination and exploration of consciousness.
Gatekeepers bring a powerful presence of intense integrity that is often feared.
When a culture is out of harmony with nature, it is reflected in the gatekeepers
demeanor as if the gatekeepers serve as the visible voice for nature’s perspective
on things.
This is not always something to look forward to; as nature loves to joke, nature
can also be fierce. Gatekeepers hold the tools and the inner energetic pathways
to heal collective issues of integrity with the spirit of nature.
If the gatekeeper does not do their job then the culture finds its life sucked out of
it. When the culture is on fire, it is the gatekeepers and other medicine people
who bring water and other cooling elements to stabilize the crisis at large.
Gatekeepers are not the same as gay people but there is an energetic correlation.
Gay people, in large part, are part of cultural consciousness and for this reason
many gay people are not facilitating the high energies required to keep an open
portal.
Not everyone who claims to be gay actually is gay. There are a variety of
energetic forms that create the conditions for gay expressions, some of which are
culturally based and others that are spiritually and nature based. In other words,
there is a wide range of energetic and consciousness diversity within people who
identify as gay. There is no common reason why people are gay because not
everybody is gay in the same way. The common ground in all of this, is that
whatever the reason, being gay is a part of the evolution of the species.
Gatekeepers exist between two worlds, sometimes inhabiting the world of nature
more to balance the integrity concerns of the cultural collective. Being a
gatekeeper is something that needs to be identified by other gatekeepers in the
community. This is because being a gatekeeper requires a certain set up before
they come to the planet. It is not something that occurs while they are on earth,
due to the otherworldly nature of their disposition.
In this vein, it is wiser to speak about this phenomenon as queer. Queer signifies
something different is taking place energetically. It signifies an energy vortex in
culture or nature connecting two radically different realities that have an
agreement for well being.
In communities where there is a radical breakdown in life, were young people
are dying, men are abandoning families, and the quality of existence is
deteriorating, we need to first check and see on the status of the gatekeepers.
In most of these cases, gatekeepers are not formally activated or installed as
protectors and nourishing elements of the community. In other cases, they are
persecuted before they are properly trained. For the untrained this type of
persecution can continue until they take on the mantle of their responsibilities.
For the trained, however, to persecute or disregard the gateway they are carrying
is a deliberate communication to a force of nature. Such a communication is
received as a serious offense that locks natural events in motion that
automatically extract the sources of persecution and disregard. Such actions are
logged as offenses against natural law and ancestral law.
What both society and gatekeepers need is formal reconciliation. More and
more organizations need to acknowledge the spiritual and energetic purpose of
gatekeepers in a clear way. In addition, those persons who are gatekeepers need
proper training to access and wield their energy properly.
This process begins with the raising of clarity and awareness about the
interconnections between world crisis and gatekeepers.
Allying with gatekeepers is more than being the ally of a movement. It is allying
with the forces of nature and doing one’s personal part in reconciling with the
forces of nature.
Reconciling gatekeepers and community begins with a formal apology to
gatekeepers in the community and supporting them with resources for them to
take up the work of their sacerdotal duties. This sets the stage for an honest
conversation the community can have about its relationship with nature and any
abuses it has supported against nature in the past. If a community is concerned
about its well being, this work is paramount to addressing the overall longevity
of the community.
For gatekeepers, this begins with gathering as a community for training,
cleansing, protection, and installation in the work of reconciling the forces of
creation.
Gatekeeper is a medicine that is intended to guard the life blood of community
and to guarantee the existence of community over time.
Many times gatekeepers are also medicine people but this is not a requirement.
The two frequencies and jobs go hand in hand.

Shamanic Initiation in the Life of Emenike La

I was born in Martinsville, Virginia in 1984. From an early age I lived with
an extrasensory awareness. It was later in life that I came to know that that
extraordinary awareness had a role and place in assisting people. That role was
to open the gates for people to come closer to Spirit, so that the gifts inherent
within their humanity could shine.
It was always humanity that drew me back to Spirit. It was love that lead
me first to discover my purpose; then, to take a plunge I could never undo.
There is a sacredness to wherever we are born, like the land itself has a say
in the purpose of our spirit.. It was my fate to be born in a place with the
richness of deep ancient memories buried in the rocks and a world of hungry
ghosts whose pains had never been acknowledged.
It was my sensitivity to the ghosts of the land that first caused me to know I
was different. Regularly, I sensed and felt the emotions of others but there were
special times when I sensed more than the emotions of family and friends, I
sensed a world that many would be so quick to call make believe.
The pain of being born into a place whose most recent name was the Martin
Plantation, was to be present to gulfs of injustice never addressed. Growing up,
however, it was the spiritual damage done to the people around me that upset me
more than the ghosts and the grief. It was like being in a spiritual black hole,
where my deepest questions and yearnings were brushed aside and replaced with
thoughts designed to sedate me.
For many empaths, it is common to have what is termed poor emotional
boundaries. Thus we feel the emotions of everyone in the immediate
environment. Certainly poor boundaries was a part, as there was wounding from
a variety of traumas as an early child. Yet, something was different. I not only
felt the emotions of others, I felt the unspoken emotions of others. These are the
kinds of emotions, mostly grief, that the person carrying them don’t know they
have. It was as if I had access to some dimension within the bones or deep
memory of the people, and from that place I would feel what it is they were
seeking to release. They had no outlet or consolation, only the social pressure to
be strong and to keep trusting in the god that allowed slavery to happen.
In my culture, people are only given opportunity to grieve at socially
appointed times, namely, funerals. When someone is traumatized the
conventional prescription is to seek counseling. Many people are not willing or
are not able to participate in counseling; thus, creating adults with the traumas of
children running a city consumed by ghosts who feed on the living in hopes of
release. These ghosts were both disincarnate spirits and the split off soul parts
that became dislodged in the many episodes of violence, rape, addiction, abuse,
and insanity rooted in the ground of the city.
It was no surprise that my attraction to a profession was as a healer. In fact,
many black students entering college sought sociology, social work, psychology
and for the brave black studies, to provide them with some type of healing and
understanding of what they had endured growing up.
The only healthy response to being born in a place with layers of
unaddressed trauma, was to become a healer. Conversely, it was as if the stress
of my culture of origin pressured me to such a point that the healer in me was
forced to emerge. The soul does more than create experiences and chose
parents; the soul operates on a by any means necessary policy. When it is
sufficiently motivated to make a change or bring a gift, it will agree to and
undergo many trials in the name of bringing a drop of God into the present time
stream.
The memory place of the bones always felt like a dreaming place, for me. I
never felt like I was quite here: somehow hovering, watching, and listening on a
plane in between the physical and somewhere else. There were certain pockets
of the dream where I would become overwhelmed by the emotions of the group
and begin to emote, exercising the depth of the people. It was in those times
things were given to me to say, but I kept silent for fear of being ostracized. No
doubt that was a wise choice, as what was happening was possession by a Water
Spirit who wanted to speak through me.
Emotions from the Water Spirit were like an information vortex that
showed me what was going on in the family. I was so overwhelmed and afraid
to say what I knew was going on that I just cried. I knew this intensity was
strange for other children so I would take myself out of the world and move into
nature to watch and to listen. I would turn tree stumps into little openings
populated by flowers and waters. I didn’t know what I was doing, just that it
consoled me, gave me hope, made the continual emotional apocalypse that
greeted me with every breathe a little bearable.
It was an emotional apocalypse; the kind of constant emotional seizure
when one’s environment is permeated with socially sanctioned violence, abuse
and injustice. I was experiencing an underground energy portal of slavery, gone
unhealed and brushed aside in terms such as, “that was yesterday and we must
focus on the future now” or “it’s time to stop whining about the past and just get
over it”. This was the nature of how my gift of healing began to manifest.
Communication occurs on many levels. There is a bone level
communication where the ancestors living within our bones are in conversation
with each other. It is the ancestors within the bones who were slave owners or
supporters of the system of slavery who are the major proponents of brushing off
the healing needs of people who were enslaved. It was my lot to be able to
perceive the ancestral conversations taking place alongside the conversations of
the living, forming a link between worlds—almost a time portal; whereby reality
became repeats of traumatic patterns etched into the bones and cells of the body
only to be reawakened when the dams of grief filled to full capacity.
Then it was obvious why the subsequent rage arose. It was rage arising
from a constant stream of communication with ancestors who either took on the
values of their owners and sought to cut off the sources to my power, or it was
those descendents of the slave owners themselves who sought to implant me
with the thoughts of being oppressed and worthless. It was a warfare waged on
the level of spirit that was neither acknowledged nor responded to. It was like
living on a plantation and being the only one willing to do whatever it took to
gain freedom.
There were other occasions as a child when I was not overwhelmed. At
those times I would find myself making potions out of any and all substances I
could find around the house or finding clever ways to burn toys. I had a
dangerous attraction to fire. The fire had an almost hypnotizing effect on me.
There was one instance I remember sitting in front of the heater
mesmerized by the mechanics. I felt the desire in me to touch it—to throw
myself into its flame. I couldn’t hold myself back. I propelled forward grasping
the heater with both hands, as if something had pushed me. I remember the
initial touch being exhilarating. I loved it. I felt like I was finally alive, after
being in a dream state between living and dead, hovering over this dimension. I
remember feeling the love in my body shutter with pleasure.
At the point my parents realized what I was doing, I began to realize I
had done something to cause myself pain. I leaped back in shock. My parents
were horrified. They later shared with me long after I had forgot this experience,
they thought I would be scared forever. My oldest sister stepped in and told me
to pray to Jesus. In my sad, wimping voice, I did as I was told. I looked at my
hands and began to pray. I asked Jesus to take away the pain and the scars in a
simple little prayer. What occurred as I did this was shocking to my parents and
sister. I began to shake, veins popping out of my neck, obviously strained in
some type of altered state. I could remember nothing after that as everything
seemed to black out.
The next morning I woke up with no scaring. The burn was bad enough to
cause permanent scarring and should have at the very least left a blister and pain
for days. I was fine and thought nothing of it.
I remember as a child going into that shaking state often to get
something I wanted. My body would tense, veins would grow, and my
concentration would increase until I knew it was time to let go. It seemed
natural to me and I never thought of it as a healing ability or anything magical.
I knew I was different and I needed to hide that difference. As I sung
Dottie Peoples’ He Did It For My Good in church, I was communicating from a
place deep within me. I knew I had been made a different way and that
difference would change everything one day. I thought it was wrong to be
different, but there was something inside of me, my own voice perhaps, that said
that was nonsense. I had a sense of being my own person, my own spirit,
independent of my family. It was a sense that I had come to them.
It was later as I grew into medicine work that I literally remembered
being a spirit in the bush while my mother was at a party. She was pregnant with
me at the time. I remember seeing a baby inside her belly. As she got close to
the bush, I entered the baby. I asked her if she remembered the party once and
she admitted she did. I told her some details of the party and that I was the spirit
that entered the child. She looked at me horrified by what I was saying, then
brushed me off saying I was speaking nonsense. I learned from that that as a
medicine person I would be privy to information that would be quite terrifying if
revealed too casually, thus it would be wise to keep some things I learned to
myself. There was also a lesson in that to always make sure I had the whole
story and that it was relevant before any type of grand revelation.
Years later as I journeyed to complete the missing pieces of that dream, I
realized I was having memories of being a fetus. I was perceiving the world
through my mother. My mother is what is called in divination, a nature person.
This means that she has a natural ability to communicate with the inner side of
nature, seeing things that most people overlook. The spirit in the bush was a
nature spirit my mother was communicating with whether she knew it or not.
The spirit gifted me certain abilities and seeds of intelligence that made it easier
for me to understand magic as I got older.
At age seven I remember something important happening to me. For
the days that proceeded the event, I felt like something inside of me was welling
up and about to burst. I was disgruntled and moody and didn’t know why. I
remember being propelled into the bathroom, almost like a puppet. I looked at
myself in the mirror and it was like there was a force behind me talking to me.
The force said as I looked at myself in the mirror, “Tray, you have to say it to
yourself.” I knew what it wanted me to say and my stomach was in a knot over
it. It repeated that I needed to say “it” to myself three times. I took a deep
breath and did it. I said aloud, “I am Different.”
At that point I saw myself transform before my eyes. I saw a little blue
light right at the base of my spine light up and grow brighter. It became electric.
It shot up my entire spine, illuminating. I stood there just looking at it, terrified
what would become of me. I knew in that moment, at a point later in life other
people would find out I’m carrying this difference inside of me. Something
inside of me said, “12”. I knew then at the age of twelve something radical
would happen to me that I could not avoid.
Around this time, I stopped going to church. Listening to the preacher
holler and banter, I felt more and more hollow like something was making a
mockery of me or like I was on parade. I had no words to explain this, only
questions, deep questions. My reasons to my parents made sense to them, and
they stopped attending as well. I began to notice that whenever I said something
spiritual, other people would listen and follow my reasoning.
The next few years were relatively happy. I had a bit of a temper and
would start fights from time to time, but I wouldn’t cause any serious trouble. I
knew that I needed to send the message that I was not going to take abuse from
kids trying to bully me. I was always small in stature and never really cared
about any of things the other boys liked. I would often have a vacant look, like I
was seeing a vision over the right shoulder of someone. I felt like I was out of
the world most of the time and that made me a target. I liked the rush of the
fight but even then I didn’t care too much for anything that happened in my life.
I experienced life like floating in a water world. Everything was always
in a state of peace and flux, a simple whirling motion, like being tipsy at each
moment. It was a gift, I learned, from the Water Spirit to help balance to torment
of ancestral toxins in the land and the burning rage of not being able to access
ancestral treasures buried beneath the grief, toxicity, and rage.
When I turned twelve things did change as the voice had predicted. I
learned that that difference I had identified was called gay. It made little sense to
me at that point how the two were related, I only knew at that point that being
gay was a bad thing. Over the course of the next two years I did my best to find
out as much information about being gay as I could. At one point, my mother
found books, pamphlets and cd’s and threw them all away. Things were
beginning to get turbulent.
As I turned fourteen, things got to such a point, I had to leave home. I
was thrown out. I went to stay with my aunt who happened to be ultra involved
in her version of Christianity. It was either that or go to the nearest city for
treatment for homosexuality. I was in turmoil and attempted to end my life. I
felt abandoned by everyone around me; like there was no place for me on earth.
Somehow my Spirits would not allow me to go through with it.
I only stayed at my aunt’s for a short while. It wasn’t until years later
when I got my first divination, that I remembered something I spontaneously did
to save my life in that time. The divination was like an accountability session,
reminding me of something I promised to do that was part of my makeup and
purpose. I had forgotten that in that time of turbulence I made a pact with nature
beings I intuited lived close to me. I knew that I was going to have to be clever,
transforming parts of myself to survive in a warzone. So, I spoke with those
spirits in much the same the way I did when I was younger when I played with
flowers and water at an old stomp.
Now, I seemed to know what I was doing. It was as if overnight I had
remembered some ancient knowledge of shapeshifting and spirit communication
that would allow me to operate under the radar until it was safe to live fully in
my energy. I spoke to the spirits asking that if they got me through this I would
do something for them. I knew at that moment I needed them to hear me and to
respond. I knew I needed to give them something to have their full and
undivided attention. I didn’t have any money or anything to give of value. So I
looked at myself and offered them the thing that it seemed like they needed. The
conversation sounded something like this:

“Spirits. I don’t know who you are but I know you’ve been
watching out for me. I can see you peeking behind those trees. I feel like I’m
about to die. If you carry me through this time I will give you my voice. With
that you will be able to do what you want in this world. You will be able to walk
and speak among humans and have things done.”

After that, I initiated myself into my aunts strange Christian cult and
became an ordained minister at age fifteen. I see now that I would have become
a priest or an imam had I been under other conditions. My calling to spiritual
leadership was an energy that had to be satisfied.
Over the next seven years I trained myself in every aspect of the Bible,
knowing that it was my arsenal against anyone who told me I was wrong for
existing; and there were many who tried. I would research for hours, preparing
sermons, and going out to share what I was learning. I made it through high
school under the cloak of that world and it prepared me to think like a lawyer
when it comes to spiritual matters. I had discovered mental polemics and I loved
to argue until my point was won.
I knew I would be with that group for only a short while when I got in.
I was using them just as they were using me. The premise of my belong to the
group was cloaking but genuinely I loved being in a position to support others
with spiritual advice. I also liked the structure, the training to speak to large
groups, and the spiritual power to minister to many situations I found around
me. It afforded me to the opportunity to give people spiritual nourishment.
Even though it did not heal them, it gave them some clarity, affirmation, and
spiritual power.
When I got to the point I was ready to leave, I was already in college
and able to support myself with the mixed blessing of student loans. As I came
out of the sect my life changed dramatically. It was clearly ordained by some
overarching intelligence and I said that as I left the sect. Most of the time
leaving a group can be dramatic, but as I explained my point, invoking the terms,
“I feel like I’m experiencing a universal cosmic intelligence larger than your
religion” the elders seemed to yield silently in respect and awe.
Throwing off the cloak of religious comfort opened me up to a wide world
of spiritual insight. It was not easy, as each day some aspect of an assured belief
system disintegrated, leaving me to search and perceive for myself. Again, I had
come to a place for where it seemed that guidance was in short supply.
Everything became disorientating; like I was caught inside of a ritually induced
tornado or an undeclared deep shamanic dismantling. Each night brought an
increase in intelligence so wide it was like I was receiving downloads.
I began to know things about my classmates. It was as if the issues of
racism, sexism, and heterosexism I studied so deeply expanded in some way,
amplifying a psychic sensitivity to perceive when someone was perpetrating one
of these forms of violence. There were moments when I sensed the complete
inauthenticity of a classmate or professor. In those moments, my feet would
touch the ground and I would begin to see double. It was later that I realized I
was seeing another body, a dream body, on each of these persons that showed
what they were really doing and thinking. I didn’t believe in magic at the time
and it did nothing but fuel the part of my rage I could not articulate.
There was one occasion in particular when I had just got back to the
mountains from a trip to D.C. I spontaneously began to dance, as I often did in
my room alone. As I did, I discovered three extra energy bodies within myself.
I remained in that altered state over several days. In addition to the change in
body, I had a radical shift in intelligence where I could hear the thoughts from
some broadcasting cosmic intelligence. I could also pick up the thoughts and
feelings of everyone around me. It was later that I found out there are beings
called jinn or Genie who cause these types of psychic openings. Though I did
not know it then, I was gathering a host of spirits that would one day form the
corpus of a forgotten lineage of medicine.
The genie that inhabited me caused me to think and speak fast. When I
spoke, it was more like I was transmitting a frequency. As the words would
form, they felt like a stream of fast moving intelligent energy from a portal at the
top of one of the mountains in the area. The genie also helped me to read and
comprehend large amounts of information from multiple subjects. When I
walked on campus, I felt like I was elevated, gliding from one place to another.
It was a magical, freeing time; a time where I could explore each of my interests,
express my rage, and love on lots of boys.
It was around that time that I changed my name as well. I knew I would
change my name in high school when I first became conscious from where the
name came. For three weeks, I declared myself nameless, going in search of my
real name that was not connected in any way to slavery. I wanted a name that
would in some way honor a matriarchal lineage instead of receiving the father’s
name. I meant no disrespect, but I was adamant and self-assured. I constructed
a spoken word poem and recited it to the universe like a magician in ceremonial
conjuration, evoking a new name to the universe—a name meant to be a guide
for my lifetime. I received the names in dramatic ways in a backwards form, fed
to me over the course of three days. As each name came, a strong tingling
sensation would course through my body as if I had stepped through the
doorway of some dimensional chamber.
I wanted the name to connect me to Africa. I wanted to be authentic, to
have a name that represented the tribe I was from. As it happened, I receive
instructions for the name La first, learning later that my mother’s lineage led to
the Lingala people of the Congo. I receive Atum next, along with dreams of a
race of beings called the Atums who came to this planet to support, evolve, and
grow consciousness. They were extremely large beings with what appeared to
be living dreadlocks. The final name was Emenike, and was told I had ancestral
connections to the Igbo.
I felt a little more whole when I legally changed it but there was still so
much missing. I intuited I would be gifted more information no matter how silly
others thought my radical move might be. Even with strong intuition, it all
occurred to me as thought and never anything out of the ordinary. The only
thing I found to be strange was the fact that every day it seemed like I was brand
new person; like I would ontologically change shapes in the night and greet my
friends as someone who just underwent a powerful shift. It was fun but also
draining.
At that time, I had proclaimed myself a radical anarchist queer vegan and
was elected spokesman of a student organization called D.R.O.P Alliance (Direct
Resistance of Privilege Alliance). I fought for a number of causes, working
myself into a frenzy, as if the vortex I felt under my feet as a child became the
collective emotions of the Ancestors of the Middle Passage swarming around me
demanding justice, healing, and rest.
From hearing the voices of the plantation to the vortex of the Middle
Passage, I was caught in the midst of a journey that I could not predict would
take me deep into the medicine of Africa. It did not dawn on me until many
years later when someone had to deliberately tell me I was communicating with
the dead that I realized that my intuition and powers were coming from them. In
fact, they were behind everything, guiding the dismantling, dream states, reading
materials and so forth. They were the reason I had come to the mountains for
college instead of Philadelphia like I had wanted. It was the spirit of the
mountain they needed to activate and install into my medicine package for work
I would later be called to do down the line.
Everything was moving so fast, I felt like a new person all the time.
Each classroom discussion lead to synaptic explosions. It was very difficult to
function and maintain it all. During the same time, I was experimenting with
alternated states while in nature. This led to a set of experiences that I now
know were episodes of spirit possession.
One episode occurred in my apartment with my best friend. Little did I
know the ancestors had orchestrated our meeting. This guy had come from a
lineage of medicine people in Nicaragua. He was wise beyond his years and
knew way more about altered states of awareness than me. He would sometimes
do things that would show me some of his power. I was humbled and very
grateful for his friendship. I lived in a world of theory, conceptualizing about
leading literary theorists and taking classes in post-colonial theory. The feeling
of thinking that way was like being on of a mountain communicating with
ancient deities from around the world, converged in some time of initiatory
container to carry me all the way to incarnating my purpose for the planet. My
friend was clearly a shaman in his own right but also a college student dealing
with being indigenous in a world devoted to the ancestral worship of the
proceeds of colonialism. We were both disgusted by what was an authentic
American Idolatry positioned as a university culture for sale. I needed him so
that I would not feel utterly alone in an environment I later understood was
highly demonic. He was sent to guide me through the realms because if left to
my own devices I would fly off and never return.
Surrounding my first major spirit possession, I was literally incensed
with frustration around the racism and violence against the divine feminine I saw
everywhere around me. At some point, the struggles of race, gender, class,
sexuality, and environment merged into a political platform expressed as Love
and Rage. Everything was colored by theories of privilege, reports of injustice,
and the protests against violence towards women. The prevailing response to
my publically expressed anger was that I was making these things up or that the
causes of the injustices I wanted to change were my fault.
I knew I was being lied to, both by those in the struggle, the “scholar
activists,” and by those obviously opposed to my message. There was
something I was missing, something important, that no professor was willing to
divulge or point me in the right direction. I felt alone and betrayed and caught in
the ecstasy of a constant refreshing of the fabric of reality all at the same time.
That is what I felt that night in my apartment after a protest to rename a
residence hall that was named after a member of the KKK. My friend and I sat
in the room as I ranted about the situation. Even at that time, he had a peaceful
constitution, like he was holding medicine space. Suddenly, the entire back of
my spine cooled. I felt like there was immeasurable space in my body. My
consciousness suddenly felt thousands of years old. My presence was white.
Something spoke. I watched it speak. The peace I felt was so good all I wanted
to do was to watch. As the presence spoke it reminded my friend and I
that the whites we were angry at are children to us. When the spirit said us I
knew instantly that I was part of a group of planetary guiding spirits. I saw how
we were elders to these out of control children. I sensed the enormity of our
wisdom and also the peace to move forward through anything. When I came out
of the state, my friend simply acknowledged the presence with a nod. I, on the
hand, was hysterical, screaming, “Did you just hear that, My God, what the fuck
was that.”
I had began to discover what I knew my professors were not telling me.
There was something deep in Africa that was wise and ancient; it was also
something powerful that could turn my life in the direction I meant it to take. It
was this experience that showed me certain Medicine Spirits of Africa were with
me. I had no intent to use this only to discover more about what was hidden to
me. I needed to discover what was hidden beyond what was written in many of
the radical black publications. I needed firsthand knowledge and I needed it
with urgency; almost as though my life depended on it. And it did.
It was couple weeks later I had another encounter. This time it was a
woman who spoke. Rather, she didn’t speak, she transmitted her feelings.
The experience began like I was falling through layers within the floor. I
thought I was dying and thought about how sad and disappointed my parents
would be.
When I landed it was like being in the lap of a very large being. Her
presence was oceanic, and it felt like there was a white cocoon on which I was
floating. Suddenly she emitted a scream, a type of otherworldly cry. In that
moment, I could feel everything she felt. It was pain. It was the most pain I had
ever felt in my life, like a mother loosing child after child, dropped on a hard
floor, some of the children living, others dying. I could feel the pain like bolts of
lightning shooting in my muscles and bones. It was a type of pain that the
human body cannot withstand for long periods of time. I knew in that instant,
that if any human carried her pain they would expire.
I blacked out after the episode. When I awoke, my friend sat beside me
worried. I explained what I felt. I told a couple of friends and they all looked at
me horrified. When I told them I felt the most immense gratitude in my life, like
everything I touched was sacred and a blessing, they responded with listless
looks of awe and fatigue. I felt a sense of freedom, like everything was
expanded and the air was free for me to move. I intuitively knew who she was,
though I could not at the time grasp the significance of the encounter.
It was almost too sacred to utter. She, the Dark Mother, Mother of the
each of the children of the Middle Passage had come. Her medicine was
necessary. For She is one who knows the pain of a mother who has lost a child
and she is the one who knows the deepest torments and sorrows humanity has
ever had to bear. To know Her is to be at the gate to a source that has the power
to heal many of our planetary woes and upheavals that originated in the
holocaust of African people.
It was my sense in that moment and later confirmed in divination, that what
occurred in that instance of humanity’s deepest brutality to itself was a planetary
occurrence. Thus, to heal the wounds of that time is to open a time and portal to
planetary healing. The war that was waged in that time left a wound upon the
planet, but also opened a way for the deepest and strongest humanity to emerge.
Until meeting the Dark Mother, my whole world was based in thought. I
knew nothing of the spiritual realms or spirit possession or even if they were
real. Sure, I had had strange encounters as a child, but I didn’t think about them,
I forgot them just as soon as they had come.
This experience, however, marked a turning point. I knew a radical
change was occurring—more radical than anything I had encountered in my
life. This radical change felt deeper than the others. I knew this change could
kill me. It felt deadly, immense and deep.
I couldn’t put it into words at the time; it was too much to bare. I wanted to
speak about it but it was impossible. I had no language to describe these things.
It seemed like the episode that happened when I was fourteen and felt abandoned
was happening all over. I was about to graduate and I had no idea what I would
do after college. I was becoming more and more depressed at the thought of
making it own my own in the world. I could not reconcile the reality of knowing
there were ancient African spirits walking with me and the idea of a career.
At the time of this encounter, my post-colonial literature class read
Ceremony by Leslie Silko. I wouldn’t go to class for weeks after that. I felt like
the story of that novel was taking place in my life. I felt on the verge of constant
vomiting, like something was trying to scream through me or like I needed to put
my body down for a while and roam freely.
I went to see my professor to somehow explain my absence. I thought I
was going crazy. I told him that I thought I was schizophrenic and I needed
psychiatric help. He gave me Joseph Campbell’s Myths to Live By. I devoured
the chapter on shamanism and schizophrenia. I had never heard of the term
shaman until that point. Even reading Ceremony, it escaped me that the book
was about an initiation into being a medicine man. At that time, the thought of
becoming a medicine man seemed like a crucifixion; there was something
deadly about it that made me move in and out of consciousness, attempting to
find a dream world safer than the option for livelihood that was presenting itself.
I would read a couple of words in the book, something would trigger
me, and I fall through a dreaming portal. I would wake up with the book beside
me, having travelled somewhere distant. I didn’t know that the choice had been
made to take the responsibility of carrying medicine for the people long before I
was born. The initiation to do so had been well underway at that point.
My ancestors knew the type of ordeals in finding my medicine I would
encounter long before the ordeals began. They knew they had to engineer a type
of initiation that could take place in a modern container, whereby I could still
develop the things I needed to develop to function in the world. Their efforts
were the work of master dreamers, able to coordinate realities years in advance,
and as I would learn in later initiations, hundreds of years in advance.
The weight of moving into the world and accessing multiple alternate
realities had me continue to worry for my mental health. I went to a university
counselor to see if there was something wrong with me. He told me that I was
perfectly normal.
After that the hallucinations started. I would see violent episodes
everywhere. I would either see some violence that occurred to me, or black men
hanging from buildings. The university was built on the grounds of an old
plantation. I would often journey to the plantation house and just walk the land.
I didn’t know why I went there, only that it soothed my body and made me more
solid.
Finally the hallucinations increased to a point where I had to call on
help from some friends. I really did think I was going to die, not by my own
hand. It felt like someone or something was pursuing me trying to kill me. I
was at my lowest. The fanfare of protesting and student programs had passed. I
was about to leave college. The prospects for my love life had completely
turned sour. It was amazing that in a short period of time there were no guys
interested in me. Each of them, of every race, explained both overtly and
covertly how they were only interested in white men. I was depressed and could
not shake it.
Fortunately, my intuition saved me once more and I was guided to
completely cease the dreaded search for new love. It was in that moment that
the energy I put out returned to me and I received a contentment in simply being
with the love already within me. It was within the span of a few days that my
first love literally showed up on my front doorstep visiting from the other side of
the state. The love was immediate and in the action of falling in love, my
hallucinations ceased.
I left college and entered the real world. Surprisingly, I found a decent job
coordinating programs for high school students in an extremely racist little town
north of where I was born. I had discovered Integral Philosophy as I was leaving
and that set me on a path of beginning to integrate some of the events happening
in my life. I began to deliberately work on my personal healing. I was still
depressed and needed to find out why. Things had cooled off and slowed down
dramatically. The depression I felt was the normal type of depression that adults
get when they mourn the loss of dreams they forget they had. Somehow I got
the intuition to look around the local shops and found there was a holistic center
in town. One listing spoke of a shamanic practitioner and I knew immediately I
had to schedule a session.
As he performed a healing, for the first time I could feel energy in my feet.
He informed me that my entire first chakra was closed and that I was basically
living somewhere else. After that, I had a chance to look at his library.
Immediately, like a laser I was drawn to a copy of Of Water and Spirit by
Malidoma Some.
During that time, we became good friends and he became a mentor to
me. He would take me to teaching sessions with his teacher, a healer in the
Blackfoot tradition. I learned all about the medicine of the Blackfoot. By that
point, I had been briefed that it was wise for me to go through a formal
initiation. There were a variety of trainings presented to me as formal initiations
but none of them seem deep enough to address the healing I knew I needed
within me. So I waited for something. I had had an intuition just before leaving
college that my ancestors were up to something profoundly intelligent. I didn’t
know what that meant but I knew where I would find it. I could feel in my body
that I would have to travel near the center of the country to find the people I was
looking for.
Learning the Blackfoot Medicines was powerful. In each of the
sessions and sweat lodges ancestors would visit me and encourage me. Even
though I had read about ancestors, saw people pray to the ancestors, and had a
wide range of ancestral activity around me, it still did not dawn on me that I
could actually initiate communication with them. It was those moments in
ceremony I began to pray to be a healer. I prayed to be deeply involved in
deeply healing humanity every day. I prayed that the deep healing of humanity
would consume me and I promised I would work hard for the healing of the
people.
Those medicine prayers, however, were only momentary experiences at
the time. I lacked the essential grounding to keep them in motion, ensuring that
they would come to fruition.
At that time I was living at home with my parents, as many recent graduates
do. I didn’t have to, I just didn’t know where else to go or what else to do. It
wasn’t like I was a nomad or world traveler, it’s just that the planet didn’t seem
very inviting to me so I didn’t want to live anywhere.
It was on one of those nights at home, when I fell asleep. It was one of
those deep sleeps where some aspect of my mind could feel the hardness of my
body in immobile stasis on the bed. It was an awkward position. The nature of
the position occurred as though I had just collapsed and left my body, but could
do nothing to change it. All of my energy was preparing to go elsewhere.
Suddenly, through the back of my spine I felt a hole open. I saw the same blue
electric light as I did when I was seven. This time however, as I was sucked up
into the sky, I heard a load crunching sound like aluminum foil being balled up.
I began to fly. This time I was flying through time. I could recognize
the seventies and saw the people in the my current life and what they looked like
then. I saw how people who did not know each other, where crossing paths and
were becoming part of each other’s story.
Suddenly the dream shifted and I was in a hospital bed. The time was
the 1920s. I saw myself, an elderly black man, laying on the bed in a room filled
with other beds. A woman, who I loved sat on top of my legs directly in front of
me. She held out both of her hands to my heart, like she was gifting something
to me. As soon as her hands got near my heart, I rushed into them. I felt the
most intense beautiful fire in my life. I felt all the love in the universe rush into
her hands. I could see myself finally, a bright nebulous cloud of fuchsia and
love. It was a bittersweet moment. I could see all the episodes in my life that
were blocked by racism. I could see how I had the love to overcome it but
allowed it to get covered up by violence and shame. In that moment, I yearned
for another chance to do it again. I knew in that moment the love I felt would
overcome any obstacle I would face. I felt like there were no obstacles; that in
the face of who I am, the obstacles could not exist.
Suddenly I found myself in another reality, this time in 1960s. I was
singing, following a band, in a constant state of euphoria. The same love was
present all the time. Underneath that love, however, was the sense of futility at
the war. I felt like no matter how much I loved I could not love enough for this
world. I had three children. In a small room by a lake where the traveling band
was resting, I overdosed on heroin as my children watched me die.
I woke up at a dining table with people I knew but could not name. My
mother was present but I did not know her by the name she is called today. She
was simply present; she said nothing. It was the old lady that spoke. I knew her
well. And she knew me even better. I felt comforted in her presence. She gave
me an overview of a being I had just left, showing me a child I had left behind.
It was after the experience that I realized there were multiple parts of my soul
coordinated by a larger me incarnating in various spots and people for healing,
like a giant pool of healing waters hovering in some undisclosed otherworldly
location at pressure points in history.
In this final scene of the dream I was part of the spirit of my mother’s
father, who died when she was young. I was being given some type of
agreement to address the healing issues that he could not complete, his
unfinished business. The old woman then took me up a long flight of stairs.
There, she handed me a file. I immediately downloaded all of the contents of the
large file and wanted to ask her more questions but she motioned for me to
descend down the steps and I could not deny the motion.
At the bottom of the steps I handed the file to a native man. He felt like
a grandfather to me but I did not know his name. He looked me over quickly, yet
compassionately, then reached above my head and scalped me. As he did, I
heard the most beautiful music I have ever heard to this day. I could hear the
collective sound of every star vibrating in the universe. It sounded like a giant
OM. Humans cannot utter this sound with our vocal cords. As I heard the sound
I felt myself falling and suddenly I entered my body through the gateway in the
back. I crashed with a loud thump. I slept for sixteen hours after that, so
fatigued at the journey.
Later when I met people who were in the dream I could see an extra
dimension to their past and current reality. The experience had activated some
type of extrasensory perception that helped me to see into the origin of people’s
problems. I could sense how problems originated astrologically with people
even though I knew nothing of astrology. I spontaneously knew there were
certain astrological loopholes or relationships between planets that when they
occur they cause certain types of portals to open.
As I continued my work with the Blackfoot, participating in sweat
lodges, learning the herbs, experimenting with shamanic journeys, I began to
deliberately look for where my ancestors were calling me. They responded
loudly and clearly. They had constructed an initiation for me, knowing that I
would come to this point long ago. Within a couple of weeks I underwent my
first initiation and saw them face to face. I wasn’t the same after that
experience. Something inside of me had been healed through a process that was
outside of my consciousness. I had dreams about the process. In the dream
there were men doing work on my behalf literally drumming up energy inside of
me. The energy opened to portals from major events in my parents’ life. As the
energy opened, I could see all people involved being healed in some way.
I left that initiation circle feeling a sense of wholeness about my
identity. I could feel there were things that were whole in me that I had no
language to identify as broken. I felt like I had an immense power and that very
important people from the past where on my side. It was a sense of royalty that
came from the wealth of being connected to a village. It was a village with its
own medicine and language. It was a village where I belonged. The language
was my language. I did not know I was looking for this. I could only bathe in a
ocean of love and power I felt towards my ancestors. The shame I didn’t know I
was carrying was gone. I had changed my name but it didn’t matter at that
point. Whenever I thought of my ancestors or saw them, they appeared as
radical geniuses and intelligent warriors. It was more than a cognitive and an
ontological shift, it was a shift in cosmic location. I was in a different place.
That difference, however, wasn’t received well in the life I returned to.
There was a wildness in me, something that woke up and was impossible to
enslave or control by any other’s mind. Other’s could see and sense this, which
led to my fair share of arguments.
The other thing that happened after the initiation was that I could see
the origins of people’s wounds in the ancestral world. Whenever someone
would do something that was crazy or self-destructive, a window would open
beside them and I could see the scene in a past life that caused what they were
attempting to medicate or express. I became very sensitive to the spirits of the
land as well. Whenever the spirits of the land were upset or needed to
communicate something I would pick it up. I would know where something
tragic occurred and feel the pain. What I didn’t know at the point was how to
respond to all of the information that I was getting. I only knew what was going
on, I couldn’t do anything about it, like a newborn baby able to see auras and
spirits but not being about to facilitate that knowing in any way.
I had requested of my ancestors an apprenticeship to become a shaman.
That is what I went into that first initiation looking for. What I found was the
healing of an ancestral identity wound that if left unchecked, would have
sabotaged my apprenticeship and latter initiations.
The information I had encountered in college and the experience of my
ancestors left me aware of the world in a new way. I could see how the warfare
against my ancestors was still underway in many forms. I could see the futility
of most activists and ancestral groups such as nationalists and afrocentrists.
They did not have the secret technology to identify and heal the deep ancestral
wound of abandonment. They blamed and scapegoated groups like gay people
to cover up the failures in their programs.
It was after later initiations I saw how many Africans in the Diaspora were
diluted or infiltrated to such a degree their ancestral communications were
strained. Even groups who had the technology of working with ancestors taught
from Africa could not address the central elephant in the room the way my
ancestors could.
There was a sense of pride and justice, a sense of knowing the place in
the destiny of humanity the sacrifice, skill, and expertise of my American
ancestors played. I felt no need to be African or to go to Africa. When I would
go home, I literally felt like I was home, like the land was the new African
home.
I felt established and located within a lineage of both power and medicine.
I felt the opposite about American ancestors as most black people; that the
genius of ancestors who were imprisoned and enslaved on American soil were
the first to be consulted in any ancestral healing process for the people. I felt a
sense of abhorrence and disrespect for people from North America who went
directly to the traditions of Africa without honoring those of this land first. I
could see that if these ancestors were not honored they would invalidate the
rituals of Africans in the Diaspora seeking initiation elsewhere.
I also saw they would invalidate the ritual and efforts of people seeking to
appropriate native wisdom and tradition on this land without the honoring of
their unique crossing of the Atlantic. I felt like my American ancestors were the
future and ordained leaders of many of the world’s people, especially people in
Africa. I realized that to look upon African traditions as some pristine,
indigenous utopia was to disillusion ourselves to their destiny---a destiny to
experience what my American ancestors underwent. We were their future,
literally.
I knew that any effective movement for global healing of the wounds of
war, genocide, and radical abandonment of the divine feminine would begin with
my ancestors gifting their facilitation and insight to the process. Suddenly, after
feeling like I was the inheritor of the lowest rung of the ladder for multiple
lifetimes, I was paid up. It was like I got reparations in a form I could never
imagine.
It was a completion that took a miracle to address. I had no feelings of
revenge or rage, there was only a depth of healing and experience to draw from.
I felt authentically saved for the first time after years of professing being saved
and not knowing what exactly I was being saved from. I felt alone and estranged
in the presence of other Africans and African Americans, like I was something
else; a new mutation that had underwent an evolutionary shift. All of the
Octavia Butler novels I had ever read were unfolding in my life, like prophetic
blueprints with codes, maps, and supernatural events.
At that point, the only thing left for me to was to remember as much as I
could. I went into my shamanic apprenticeship with Malidoma Some not to
learn something new or the become Dagara, I went there to reclaim the medicine
and technologies of my ancestors. I knew deep in my bones before I began that
the Dagara were in the process of gifting my legacy something deeply valuable,
a gift of life. I also knew, that it was the way of my ancestors to always return a
gift of equal measure. For life, the resonant gift is life. There were things that
my ancestors had mastered about living in the civilized world I needed to
communicate in such a way that it would bring new life to the Dagara people. In
exchange, the Dagara taught me how to access ancient sources of information to
create original medicines relative to my time and place. In essence, they did the
necessary work help me remember what I already knew in my bones.
When I saw the cowrie shells spinning before me for the first time, I
knew in my soul everyone had to touch this medicine. I knew it was the saving
grace of all of the youth to remember agreements with otherworldly sources
made and to be held accountable in a loving and thorough way. I knew that with
this medicine I could develop an antennae that would show me what was
happening in other parts of the earth and how to respond to it. I knew that I
could see the future and any apocalyptic energies coming down the line. I knew
that there were places in nature and guardians awaiting the connection of
people. I knew that connecting the people, especially the young ones, to these
energies and beings would bring the type of magic in their lives that would cause
them to want to live fully.
I wanted to remember how to see someone’s purpose. I knew that each
person had one and I knew they just needed to be pointed in the right way. So
that was the first technology I called in and as that worked I realized I could call
more and more in to address needs I saw in the community. I was most
impressed with the technology of divine intervention in cases of death. When I
studied Tibetan Bon Astrology, I could see that their shamans did similar things
to the Dagara, even having similar colors on their medicine wheels. More
interesting was they too possessed the medicine to take a long hard look and
possible intervention with death. I had to remember this medicine. It felt like
my life was at stake.
As I learned to read the shells, I entered into some permanent shamanic
dreamworld that allowed me to finally begin to live into the purpose of being a
voice of prophecy and news for spirit world. I learned that the ancestors had
been coaching me and following me my whole life. Looking back it was
obvious, but someone had to sit me down and tell me deliberately. As soon as I
accepted the mysterious manifestation of destiny and intelligence my ancestors
displayed, I could remember rituals I spontaneously entered into as a child alone
in my room, calling on ancient African spirits to come through me. Slowly, I
began to remember that my blood family had a lineage of holy spirits that we
could call on for healing our troubles.
This initial period of the apprenticeship consisted of radical cleansings and
learning the ability to locate portals in nature. For me it was the water. When I
would go near a body of water I would perceive dimensions within dimensions
and how to access what or who was living there.
After learning to read the shells, I set on the quest to fully become a diviner,
someone who could do more than read, I wanted to speak for the gods. That is
after all, what I was designed to do. So I read as many people as I could causing
a flurry of ceremonial activity. I responded to crisis from all directions honing
and testing my skills, like a water bringer flying over distances pouring water on
the fires below. I was guided by the sense of urgency that my life depended on it.
There came a point in this work that I had to make a conscious choice. I
did not understand the details of the choice though it was the same choice I knew
I was to make years before as a senior in college. In all honestly, I didn’t feel
like I had a choice even though it was presented as such. I didn’t feel tricked
either. I simply felt like I was responding to the healing needs of the people
from the spirit world. It became apparent around this time that part of my gift
was to find and bring healing to spirits in other worlds who had been forgotten. I
saw a unique link between otherworldly beings and ancestors; how beings such
as Kontomble were in the process of bringing healing to multiple ancestral
lineages. I saw how they were using their otherworldly means of healing
planetary catastrophes to echo through dimensions and centuries.
It was somewhere in that time that some of the final pieces of my
identity were being gifted to me, as if stored for me at the proper time in my life,
where I could see the genius of why I could not remember before. I learned the
specific tribe most of my genetics came from. I learned my full name given to
me by my ancestors, that consisted of names from multiple lifetimes of working
medicine in Africa. I learned about relationships with otherworldly beings and
gateways I was connected to. I understood I was a gatekeeper and knew what to
do to open and close the gates. I understood that the reason I felt so deeply
various vortexes throughout my life was that I had opened them in moments of
desperation on behalf of the healing needs of groups seeking a return to their
Voice.
As I witnessed this unfolding from a realm of awareness just outside of
this dimension, I was surprised at how little this information mattered. It was
that prerequisite wholeness I experienced in my first initiation that protected me
from taking any of these miraculous events too seriously. It was as if the
ancestors foresaw the need to be rooted in something unexplainable and
authentic to fortify me to encounter the miraculous as a common place
occurrence. I could simply be aware of miraculous events, but not attach to
them or make them mean something about my identity. I could be my own man,
not defined by the wounds of ancestry, but by who I say I am and what I choose
to create here and now. Even the blessing of becoming a priest and a medicine
man phased me little. It was like registering for a mantle of responsibility, not
like a triumphant beam from community I imagined it would be when I began to
contemplate the transition.
One thing is for sure, the crucifixion I intuited was the sense that the
shaman’s path was one of sacrifice. I was called to sacrifice conventional ways
of reacting and being in the world for clinging to a deeper truth that could not be
shaken.
It happened way too soon. Like a child being initiated into the duties of
a father at thirteen. But I felt the urgency and the isolation of my ancestors that
propelled me to take on the responsibility. There were no southern black
gatekeepers doing the work. From my small town in Virginia, no one had
journeyed to the land of the ancestors to bring back medicines. The shamans
and the elders were extinct, and even more deadly, the gatekeepers were being
persecuted. I felt their extinction in my blood like an ancient war. The secret
otherworldly links between being queer and gatekeeper were open to me. I
knew it was the gatekeepers who held the tools to either bring healing to
community and family or seal the descent into oblivion. The persecution of
gatekeepers took on a new tone.
I could remember church people, preachers and congregants, working
magic on me throughout my life dreading the moment I would take on this
responsibility. Somehow, they knew the medicine of gateways would expose
their methods of control and cowardice in the face of the real needs of the
people. On the other hand, they could also sense there was healing for them as
well and their attacks were signs of resistance to healing. The gateway I hold is
first about healing and redemption—opening a way for the infinite forgiveness
of divine will, accountability, cleansing, and peace.
Knowing where gatekeepers stood, I knew I had to act and act thoroughly.
So I made a commitment that would set the course of the rest of my life.
I committed to being a medicine man. I chose it. The choosing of
walking the shamanic path was different from stating the choice or entering
ceremonies designed to enlighten me, cleanse me, dismantle me, or empower
me. The commitment was a dry commitment. Nothing extraordinary was
present, only the deep truth that I had come to the end of a long road and had
taken the leap into a land where I would never be the same. The commitment
was one of small things. It was the small acts that engaged the commitment,
such as being alert to the spirit moving at all times and being ready to jump into
action in response to dreams, the call of the land, or the call of the people. It
meant stepping up and being organized without the angst of youth, but instead,
solid confidence in the competence of my training and the ancestors.
Within the span of a few months, each day filled with intense ceremony for
the community and each night filled with distant journeys. It was then that it
became easier to I remember an entire lineage of medicines from Africa and
other worlds. In that time there were many ancestral ceremonies to help lost
spirits cross over and to empower them to ascend to a higher dimension. They
opened the way so that I could receive potions, ancient words, songs, dances,
rituals, a host of healing techniques, new healing ceremonies to address global
wounds, and healing ceremonies to address relationship difficulties.
No one told me but during that time two things occurred: one is I could not
study, I had to quit my masters program in Adventure Education mid way
through. And too, it was very dangerous for someone to touch me while I was
sleeping, as sleep was considered daytime in the Spirit World.
The nighttime dream divinations, meetings, and transitions afforded me the
ability to recall amazing amounts of information or know things about people
that were impossible for me to know when I divined them, almost as if the
divination had occurred months in advance and I was reading from some ancient
otherworldly script on a high tech see through screen on the wall. I felt like the
matrix download was happening to me every night, caused by intense
ceremonies during the day. I would often wake up exhausted feeling like I had
just stepped out of a graveyard after a long sleep or that I just arrived from a hole
on the side of a mountain.
After the choice, things began to lighten up. I didn’t feel so much like
my life was on the line. I felt in harmony with a deep oceanic principle moving
across the planet as if a great movement of radical earthly beings was taking
place just beneath the naked eye. I devoted myself to my work. Making
medicines, performing divinations, officiating community rituals, journeying on
the behalf of people. Finally, I was a full time medicine man. Most people
would come to me by word of month. It was always comical when people first
saw me how they thought I was some kid off the next corner. Then the bones
began to speak and they knew that something was occurring they needed to hear.
I liked looking like a street kid; there was a bit of justice in it for me; a
message that said, “Just because a kid is in a hoodie and doesn’t where fancy
Afrocentric attire at all times, does not mean he can’t divine and do the work of
his ancestors.” I had and still have a deep respect for those that live on the
streets. The same is true for many people serving prison sentences. I have
always been interested in the people society’s god throws away. I figured that
just as in psychology, we have parts of ourselves we believe to be unloved, thus
annexing them and condemning them to roam the streets or imprisoning them. It
was clear that in the global mind, many of these kids on the corner, inmates,
addicts, and whores were the split off parts of a culture that did not know how to
love them the way they needed to be love. It was the medicine of the genie and
my ancestors that had me look at them with a new eye of pride and devotion.
I always knew the first step to healing someone was in the eyes: that if
the healer saw them as healed, that was a step in the direction of healing. It was
later I found out how true that was when the spirit allies begin to assist in
geometric ways of seeing people so as to see them way beyond their pain and
story into the divine essence.
I began to feel a responsibility for the guidance of humanity, like
something collective was bubbling in me. During that time, I went for a
personal divination to address a crisis in my family. It was at that time that the
diviner said something interesting. He said that I was acting as an elder to my
family. I took that message very seriously, and it was the fuel I needed to keep
going in spite of what appeared to be oppositions cropping up on the path. It
was during that time that I learned who the man in the 1920s was. He was my
great great grandfather, a preacher and church founder.
It became clear why I always had such an intense love and devotion for
the black church. It was clear why I had the “preacher voice” whenever the
ancestors summoned my voice. When that would happen the floor beneath me
would open and I would feel like I was standing inside of a vortex. I would feel
a swell of energy then all of a sudden I would feel the energy under the feet of
everyone in the room as if it were a voice. I would speak this voice and the
amen’s would be in response to themselves. It’s like being a hollow amplifier
for the people to hear the power of the own souls combined, their Voice of
sovereignty.
It also explained why I could see so much magic in the black church.
Whenever I would go I could see the origin of the each of the holy spirits that
showed up. I knew who was calling on what and what would happen within the
ceremony. I knew which spirits belonged to which lineages in the church. For
instance, in the movie the color purple, the church scene at the end is thought to
be governed by Jesus when it is actually an ancient African river spirit that has a
very sweet loving energy and brings about reconciliations between family
members. As a gatekeeper, it is obvious how to create these types of experiences
at will.
My grandfather was a powerful medicine man. He became a preacher
to express the medicine as that was available at the time. His medicine was of
the water and the Kontomble, who made him a powerful musician. When this
gift passed to me, I threw myself into music and would spend hours playing
saxophone, oboe, or French horn. My grandfather was interesting in that he was
guided by Kontomble in most of his sermons, thus giving him a wise and
grounded quality. It was a beautiful reunion, to be reunited with a source of
guidance that had served with me over multiple lifetimes.
Before coming to America, he practiced the medicine of herbs and
maintained community with the laws and forces of nature and mountain. To say
it was inevitable that I walk the shaman’s road would be an understatement. It
was an office that was constructed and passed over many millennia.
I could see why I chose a nontraditional, nonhierarchical, feminine
honoring initiation system. Most other African systems of priestly initiation
were built upon highly structured statuses that did not speak to my essential
desire to simply create medicines and serve the people. Not having that
structure, however, was like an extreme test of the abilities of my ancestors and
spirit allies. If I didn’t make it and come up with the medicine with minimal
guidance, it was ultimately on them.
Nonhierarchical initiation was a testament to their supreme values of
love and community, rooted in the tribal core of humanity. This core survived
every onslaught, coming out with the generosity, hospitality, and gratitude that
defines us as fully human. My initiation was intended to be designed as a
shamanism for the people, purified multiple times over, to ensure its message
remained clean as it entered the holy sanctuary of the hearts and deep recesses of
humanity.
The shamanic road is a blessed one even though the journey is
demanding. It is a beloved path, for in each breath and action the seeds of
humanity’s birthright come full stream. The purpose of any shaman’s story is
the story of us all. It is the story of the miraculous that lives within our bones. It
is the way of a shaman to say, “Yes, and of the things, you will do more.” It is a
trigger, to activate latent magic encoded as ancient hieroglyphics of light
depicting a universal language that no mind or man can undo. It is the full
tapping of the consciousness of the Most High, made palpable to where it is
needed the most: in the places of the heart were we fill abandoned, on the streets
and in the blood, at the gates of the river were our burdens may be laid to rest.
Deeper than Africa and anything that has ever been lost, it is humanity’s
birthright medicine that stands to usher grace in times of upheaval and
uncertainty.
It was the river that called me back to my medicine every time I would
doubt or feel away from community. Each of us has a place from nature that
calls us back, back to a place where we can repair an agreement made with the
universe to be and bring a gift that would change all time for the better.
Whenever it was time to return to the river, my grandfather’s Sprit would rise to
call the souls of community:

“I Said, Lay Your Burdens By the River Side. That’s what we gone do in this
church today. These burdens ain't fittin to be on you back forever. Come on, get
down in this water and feel The Spirit rush over you. The Spirit knows. Yes,
Lord, The Spirit Knows. The Spirit Knows the darkest hour and the blackest
root. Ain't no trouble This Sprit ain't seen. Yes, Lord, The Spirit Knows.”

It was this speaking that opened gates for the people to move in closer
proximity to the Spirit World. In so doing, they could be fortified and
empowered to bring out their purpose for humanity. Regardless of injustice and
obstacles, the honoring and honing of purpose is the art of medicine. Purpose is
the centering presence that allows for the injustices and obstacles to be a side
attraction to the main show. To allow obstacles to take up space in our language
and minds, is to allow these forces of adversity to overrun us with their toxicity.
It is the nature and the power the Water Spirit to cleanse and make way
for the purpose to stand original and in its own time. This is what is most
important as we consider the particularities of healing and global injustice.
There is something deeper and more rooted to cling too, that when grasped helps
us navigate our problems and release them when it is time. When purpose is
present, something more important than obstacles takes precedent.
It is when we know the priority and importance of things that life takes
on new meaning, becoming magical in the blink of an eye. It is not the path of
everyone to become a medicine person nor is it wise for everyone to do. What is
important is that people live in their own calling, purpose, and magic. It is the
nature of the Order, that everyone is given all they need to feel loved, valuable,
and needed. God ain’t never made a mouth He can’t feed. This relates to our
deeper spiritual longings to live a life of grace and purpose. It is that purpose
that provides us flow and it is that flow that nourishes the medicine within each
of us.
When the medicine is nourished humanity is free. To focus and place
energy in nurturing the medicine is to starve the forces of oppression in the
world. The medicine is something that can be touched that is also divine. There
is something healing in a touch. People need to be able to touch something
divine and have something divine touch them. It is the Touch that brings the
cooling presence needed to endure the often times harsh realities of the world.
The beginning of the roots of this great tree of medicine were located in my first
encounter with the spirit that brought me peace and clarity in the midst of my
fiery rage in college. It is from that encounter I learned that in the act of inviting
the presence of ancientness, we discover the epic value in our lives. When our
lives are interwoven with a cosmic story, something unique happens: what we
thought was ordinary becomes magical and what we thought was impossible
becomes possible. It is a living story; that is; a story that can be conversed with
and a story that lives like a strong energy pole from the top of world mountain
that sends a blessing around the earth many times over. It is this blessing that
when called down from the sky is like the rain of deep spiritual food that
invigorates the very fabric of family, culture, science, and art. Even
more, it reminds us that we are love: physical extensions of a sacred realm of
oneness and being from which all divine mysteries emanate. That love follows
the curve of the one central truth that is known to all life and coded in every
tongue, act of devotion, and authentic truth spoken from the body of the earth.
To remember the ancients is to honor the linkage of relationships that
make communities, organization, families and world orders harmonious. It is
the ancients who honor and heal the ancestors, the elders, the leaders and people,
and the children. This is why there is so much love and respect for Kontomble.
Kontomble are the keepers of a wisdom that connects all religious
traditions and philosophies. There is an invisible road or thread that is actually
palpable that connects all stories, myths, beliefs, and sacred knowledge. It is
Kontomble who are able to open the vision so that humans may see this mystical
cord of connection; and when we see, it is our nature to want to dance at the
sight of the linkages of all of the sacredness of mankind.
This is why Kontomble are interested in creating new ways of telling
ancient stories. Many of these stories are to be told in living forums, where
people speak authentically and transform before the eyes of others. They are
interested in taking the potency and wisdom of African Kontomble ritual and
merging it with the voice, allowing their presence, energy, and elevation to be
disseminated through coaching, singing, and speaking.
There is a deep understanding from Kontomble of how language is our
most profound gift. It is also what can keep us locked into this one tiny planet.
Through certain sounds, stories, and group dances, Kontomble can open a gate
where we can get behind the power of language and enter the realm of its
ancientness. It is not only about the power and responsibility that comes with
knowing the primal tongue that constructs reality, it is also about being present
to that ancientness. That is a sacredness the holds everything in perfect order. It
is that ancientness, that when spoken, brings the perfect order into presence—
that humanity may taste the hidden waters that must travel through dimensions
and mountains to reach their hearts.
It is what is behind the movement to create wisdom based
collaborations. This helps elevate us beyond traditions, religions, philosophy,
and other boundaries to operate from the common purpose of what needs to be
done. When wisdom is present, it is always clear what needs to be done. To
attempt to go about things without wisdom, is to distance ourselves from the
help and powerful blessings that are available to us.
Wisdom in business, communities of faith, families, art, and schools
makes a profound difference in the way we engage life. It opens a gate to grace,
and it is grace, above all things that will save this world from destroying itself.
Our collective truth is that we cannot enter into the next world
practicing the old ways of being. The new way forward is for leadership from
everyone in the culture. We offer the medicine so that every person may be
charged with their value and purpose in a way that feeds their soul. We network
with the forces that are most indigenous to a person, crafting a means for them to
step into their inherited wealth of worth, magic, and sacredness.
It is the birthright of humanity that is to become the collective tone of
the earth. As the earth vibrates, it sings in space, despite the horrors and
destruction. To the world we have made for ourselves, we have the bright
opportunity to hear its current tone and to intervene with the sound of our hearts
and bones in resonate frequency with a deeper, ancient wisdom. This wisdom is
no other than love and the sound of love is that which can transform even the
deepest struggle. Just beneath the eye the work is always being done. It is not
one person, but many. It is not one group, but many.
The way forward is to tell our stories, our deeper stories. To tell the
stories of the entirety of our beings will goad the song of songs from our bones.
To tell our stories triggers something collective, inciting world change in a way
that honors the growth of nature. In this way, our unique wisdom becomes water
to the growth of the planet. It is a charge from the sacred for humanity to sing
with one voice.

To sing in this way for the first time, we will know, collectively, we have a
choice.
