Artifacts Homework:
We want to learn more about our classmates! Scientists study Upcoming Events
artifacts to learn more about history. Each student is invited to
bring in three artifacts to teach us about their history. Students took September 21st – International
home a paper bag in their Friday folder with an information flyer Day of Peace
attached. Included on the flyer is the day that each student will
present next week (ex: Monday). Please help your child to gather September 24th-26th – NWEA
their artifacts and bring them to school on their day to share. MAP Testing

Supply Donation: September 27th – Detroit Zoo

Every year we are blown away by the generosity and support for Field Trip
the Palm community. Thank you for the donations of tissues,
pencils, and more. Our environment would not be possible without September 28th – Fun Run
you and we are very appreciative.

Fun Fridays: levels
On Fridays, students are able to dress in a Spirit-wear shirt and jeans.  Eat your own food and use
manners
School uniform socks and shoes are still required. If your child prefers
to wear shorts due to hot temperatures, they are only allowed to
wear khaki or navy shorts. The Palm room also invites students to
bring one toy on Fridays. The students will be able to play with their
toy out at recess.

Students’ Belongings:
As the weather begins to cool down, students are allowed to wear
sweatshirts that match school uniform policy. Please begin to label
everything; shoes, lunches, jackets, etc.
