Double Handed Flogging 6 count pattern Start with right hand up at right ear, left hand tucked under right elbow. This is the start position. 1. Swing your right arm in a downward motion to the left then back up coming to rest at your left ear. 2. Swing your left arm in a downward motion to the left then back up coming to rest just to the outside of your right hand. 3. Swing your right hand in a downward motion, but stay on the left side of your body, coming to rest with your right hand tucked under your left elbow. 4, Swing your left arm in a downward motion to the right then back up coming to rest at your right ear. 5. Swing your right arm in a downward motion to the right then back up coming to rest just to the outside of your left hand. 6. Swing your left hand in a downward motion, but stay on the right side of your body, coming to rest with your left hand tucked under your right elbow. 7. You are now again at the starting position. Repeat. 4 count pattern (double figure eights) Start with right hand up at right ear, left hand tucked under right elbow. This is the start position. 1. Swing your right arm in a downward motion to the left then back up coming to rest at your left ear. 2. Swing your left arm in a downward motion to the left then back up coming to rest just to the outside of your right hand. 3. Swing your right arm in a downward motion to the right then back up coming to rest at your right ear. 4. Swing your left arm in a downward motion to the right then back up coming to rest with your left hand tucked under your right elbow. 5. You are now again at the starting position. Repeat. Note that 6 count flogging alternates which hand is on top of the other, while the 4 count always has one hand (in this case the right one) on a higher plane than the other hand.
