GENERAL NOTES:
Provide all materials and perform all work according to the 2002 Standard
Specifications for Highway Construction of the Oregon Department of Transportation.
DETAIL REFERENCE NUMBERS: See As-Built drawings for details not shown. Location of existing reinforcing
steel in drawings is approximate.

electronic rebar locator. Adjust the location of resin bonded anchors to clear existing
deck and beam reinforcement. Place anchors within 3 inches of girder centerline.
2 Crack injection in girders and crossbeams.
Complete all crack injection work before drilling holes for installation of resin
bonded anchor rods.

3 Resin-bonded shear anchors in longitudinal During installation of resin bonded anchors, restrict live load to Legal

girders. See dwg. 00000 for details. Loads (80,000 lbs. GVW, 20,000 lbs. single axle and 34,000 lbs. tandem axle).
Provide ƒ" dia. fully threaded anchor rods meeting ASTM Specification A449,
or ASTM Specification A193 Grade B7. Provide a high strength resin from the QPL
or approved equal. Do not place resin until approved by Inspector. Place resin and
install anchors according to manufacturer's instructions.
For drawings of existing structure, see 00000 thru 00000 and 00000.
The Bridge load rating is per the October 2003 AASHTO Manual for Condition
Evaluation and Load and Resistance Factor Rating and the current ODOT LRFR Interim
Scoping Load Rating Guidlines for reinforced Concrete Deck Girders with the
following factors: v = ____, I = ____, gD = ____, gL = ____.
Bridge repairs are designed in accordance with the 2004 AASTHO LRFD Design
Specification using permit loads for the design vehicle with no superimposed lane load
and a Live Load factor of 1.35.
