1. SCOPE
This Inspection and Test Plan describes the scope of test & inspection items and their
Report Form for pumps and air compressor packages to be installed for DSLNG
Project.
In case a vendor’s installation manual and/or procedure is issued for certain
machinery, such manual and /or procedure shall be the priority in application to such
machinery over any provision in this specification.

3.1 All inspection and testing shall be conducted by Subcontractor and witnessed by
Contractor and/or Owner’s inspector in accordance with ITP Table during
installation.

3.2 Subcontractor submits notification for inspection or test with “Notification for
Inspection” (NFI) as specified in S-900-1540-101.

3.3 Subcontractor shall inspect the all items and sign off the inspection or test reports
and submit to Contractor with satisfactory results in accordance with ITP Table
during installation.

3.4 Soon after completion of witness inspection, all participants shall review inspection
record prepared by Subcontractor using specified format and make signature on
the record. Also, the result of inspection as below shall be recorded in NFI with
signature of all parties.

3.5 For inspection by document review specified in applicable ITP, inspection record
shall be prepared and submitted by Subcontractor in timely manner for Contractor
and/or Owner’s review.

4. ABBREVIATIONS IN ATTACHED SCOPE OF INSPECTION AND TEST PLAN

For “Scope of Inspection”, the following abbreviation is specified for each party;
• H (Hold Point) : Subcontractor is not allowed to proceed with the test/inspection
unless a written release is issued by Contractor and/or Owner. Subcontractor shall
submit inspection notification to Contractor.
• W (witness Point) : Subcontractor can proceed with the test/inspection when
Contractor’s and/or Owner’s inspector is not present at the notified time.
Subcontractor shall submit inspection notification to Contractor and/or Owner.
• IW (Initial Witness) : Subcontractor is requested to notify Contractor and/or Owner of
the initial inspection date and time. Subcontractor can proceed with the
test/inspection when Contractor’s and/or Owner’s inspector is not present at the
notified date and time. Subsequent test/inspection will not be witness unless any
deficiencies are found at the initial inspection.
• M(Monitoring) : Subcontractor is not requested to notify Contractor and/or Owner.
Contractor’s and/or Owner’s inspector will monitor construction condition, workman
ship, and test/inspection during his visit or periodical inspection
• R (Record Review) : Subcontractor shall provide Contractor and/or Owner with
certificates, reports, and records as applicable for review and confirmation.
• I : Execution of inspection
• F : Full, ex, “FW” means “Full Witness”, “FI” means “Full Inspection”
• S : Spot, ex, “SW” means “Spot Witness”, “SI” means “Spot Inspection” including
100% review of inspection report
