Learning is a process and not the product

Experience and training produce change in behaviour

Learning leads to change- Positive and Negative direction

Learning prepares for adjustment and adaptation

Scope of learning- cognitive, affective and psychomotor

Never ending process- womb to tomb ( not limited to


age, sex, race or culture)
