1 Abstract
This lab introduces the concept of Simulink for control system simulations. It also
introduces how to build basic models and to estimate the various performance
parameters in the time domain.

2 Methodology
Simulink is an extension available in Matlab that uses different kind of blocks for block
diagram representation of a process. Simulink is composed of graphical
represnsentattion of a system which is composed .of an data input, the output data and
system. There are many functions available in Matlab on control systems that can be
used both open loop and closed loop control systems.

In this lab we will use scope and other blocks available in Simulink for the
analysis of various performance parameters. Step response can also be
obtained in Simulink using Step Block from the Simulink .
Solution to Exercises:
Assignment No.1
Assignment: 02
Assignment No.3
Conclusion:

We can use Simulink to find the performance parameters of both open loop and close loop
systems. Further we can analyze the system response to various kinds of inputs like step input
and ramp input etc.
