HR: In our company every process is automated from filling of the mineral water till the packaging, recently the filling machine has developed some technical issue & our technical team is unable to solve it due to which few bottles skip the filling procedure & directly go for packaging. So it has hampered our packaging quality & also resulted in negative business impact. So being a production manager how would you overcome this issue? IMI A – Simply sir if the technical people are unable to solve the problem then we have to replace this machine with the new one. Keeping in mind the brand value of this company we cannot go ahead with such production scene. HR: OK Thanks. HR: Define Market Segmentation? SMF Delhi – Market Segmentation is a process of grouping two or more customers for a product or services so as to serve their needs in a better way. SFM Delhi : Sir what we can do is call for an external technical team which can sort out this issue. They will do the technical study & they can solve this issue. HR : What if they can’t do it? SFM Delhi : Then sir we might have to go for a new machinery which have a sensor built in them so that they will be picking up the empty bottles from the roller belt. HR: OK Thanks.

MEM Gudgaon : Sir in this scenario I would suggest you to hire one employee/shift who will be checking manually each bottle while it passes through them, This option will be much cheaper than going for buy a new machinery. Tasgaonkar – Sir prima facie what we can do is we can put a blower /a fan which will be adjusted to such air pressure that once an empty bottles comes in their path they are blown away & they are collected in the box placed below. This will be effective in resolving the current issue & later on we can go for an expert technical team who will resolve this issue forever. HR: Being an option for us to hire a personal from top B-school, why should we hire you when you are from an institute of which we have hardly/never heard of? Tasgaonkar: Sir our college is an emerging & fastest growing college which produces around -----no. of quality Engineers & -----no. of quality Management students each year, and the best part of our college is that they never thought us in the way chatur understands they always thought us in the way Ranchordas wanted that “students will understand”. HR panel discussion: What do you say out of these for whom we should go for? I think we should go for the person who suggested for the fan. In his case we will get a talented guy who will also be cost effective to the company & is also at par with those other candidates.
