1. What is marijuana? What are the 2 main components . What do they do.?

Marijuana is a drug that many adolescent teens uses. The two main ingredients are THC and

CBD. They put your body into a state of relaxation.

2. What is the endocannabinoid system. What is anandamide? Who isolated

Anandamide? Anandamide is a neurotransmitter produced in the brain that binds to the

THC receptors. It's been called the bliss molecule. The endocannabinoid system is a biological

system composed of endocannabinoids.

3. list 5 places in the body impacted by anandamide and others endocannabinoids:

Learning, Memory, Hormones, Development, Metabolism.

4. How marijuana affects memory. Could this situation be a good or positive effect? I

think it all depends on how you look at it. If you were having a really stressful day at work then

maybe a good thing. On the other hand if you have a final test the next day maybe not so much

of a good thing.

can greatly affect your driving by slowing down your reaction time it also makes the light

receptors in your eyes work overtime.

6. Is marijuana addictive. Why not/yes? Yes marijuana is addictive like any other drug

users get the feeling of being high. There is a reason why marijuana is called the gateway drug.

Increased heart rate, Increased appetite, Feeling of being cold, Sleepy.

9. Is marijuana a gateway drug? Why not/yes? Yes it leads to use of stronger drugs to

find that high.

10. Is possible that marijuana affects your school /academic achievement ? Its is very

possible for this to happen you'd just need to use it responsibly. A lot of teens use it theses days

so i don't really know how much more legalizing it could hurt.

11. Can marijuana affect the future baby in a pregnant woman? Yes like any other drug

babies can get addicted to the drug out of the womb.

12. Is marijuana abuse linked to mental disorders ? I wouldn't say they are linked id say a

lot of people with depression look for a way to feel happy and maybe that happy for them is

marijuana.

13. Can marijuana cure? What conditions have been proved marijuana to be effective?

ADHD can help a ton with cancer.

for chronic pain, helps hair growth, Substitute for opioids.
