Lady (on having felt that the culpritfalls down on her): Help!, they havestolen me.

Culprit (trying to help it): Lady forgives, the boy pushed me on having gone outrunning.

Introducción: En una calle de la ciudad camina una señora, detrás
de ella viene un chico y otro corriendo a toda velocidad lo empuja
haciéndolo caer sobre la señora, aprovechando la oportunidad para
arrancar el bolso y tratar de huir.
THE ONLY ACT
Lady (on having felt that the culpritfalls down on her): Help!, they havestolen me.
Señora (al sentir que el culpado cae sobre ella): ¡Auxilio!, me han
robado.

Culprit (trying to help it): Lady forgives, the boy pushed me on having gone outrunning.
Culpado (tratando de ayudarla): Disculpe señora, el chico me empujo
al salir corriendo

Lady (shouting hysteric): What boy? You stole me: police officer! They havestolen me.
Señora (gritando histérica): ¿Qué chico? Me robaste, ¡policía! Me han
robado.

Culprit (scared and trying to defenditself): Not lady I did not steal it, theboy who pushed me
snatched its purse.
Culpado (asustado y tratando de defenderse): No señora yo no la
robé, el chico que me empujó le arrebató su bolso.

In this moment there comes a policeofficer who was close, accompanied bythe boy who
stole the lady.

Police officer (very serious): What didlady happen?


Policía (muy serio): ¿Qué sucedió señora?

Lady (non-stop of shouting): Mr. stolethe purse from me police officer, arrestit.
Señora (sin parar de gritar): Me robó el bolso Sr. policía, arréstelo.

Culprit (more scared even): I did notsteal anybody, it had walking andsuddenly they pushed
me on the lady, in this moment they stole it.
Culpado (mas asustado aun): Yo no robé a nadie, venia caminando y
de pronto me empujaron sobre la señora, en ese momento la robaron.

Police officer (taking of the arm theculprit): this gentleman said to me thateverything saw it
and that he is awitness of that you rushed forwardtowards the lady and stole it: Where isthe
purse?
Policía (tomando del brazo al culpado): este señor me dijo que lo vio
todo y que es testigo de que te abalanzaste sobre la señora y la
robaste ¿Dónde está el bolso?
Culprit (trying to escape): I do not knowwhere this purse is, I did not stealanybody, I am
innocent, a lady please, you did not see me starting its purse, say to the police officer that it
did notsee me.
Culpado (tratando de zafarse): No sé dónde está ese bolso, yo no
robé a nadie, soy inocente, señora por favor, usted no me vio
arrancar su bolso, dígale al policía que no me vio.

Lady (it bothers but without shoutingalready): clear that you stole from me, arrest it Mr.
Police officer.
Señora (molesta pero ya sin gritar): claro que me robaste, arréstelo
Sr. Policía

Thief (with accusing tone): I saw it, hestarted the purse to the lady, but hehad no time to
run, I had happeningjust in this moment.
Ladrón (con tono acusador): Yo lo vi, él le arranco el bolso a la
señora, pero no le dio tiempo a correr, yo venía pasando justo en ese
momento.

(Determined) police officer: Good thereis already not any more that to say, took you to the
police station, the ladywill put the denunciation and we willsee that it happens with you.
Policía (decidido): Bueno ya no hay más que decir, te llevo a la
comisaria, la señora pondrá la denuncia y veremos que sucede
contigo.

Guilty (Desperado): how do I tell to himthat I did not steal anything? Ladyplease!
Culpado (Desesperado): ¿cómo le explico que yo no robé nada?
¡Señora por favor!

The police officer takes the culprit ofthe arm to lead it to the police station, when a woman
appears.
El policía toma al culpado del brazo para conducirlo a la comisaria,
cuando aparece una mujer

Witness (he speaks loudly to make hearfor the police officer): Mister policeofficer waits, I
am a witness ofeverything what happened, the ladyhad walking along this street, the
boywas coming behind, they pushed it andthe cayó on her, and this was themoment of that
the thief made use totake the purse from him.
Testigo (habla fuerte para hacerse oír por el policía): Espere señor
policía, yo soy testigo de todo lo que sucedió, la señora venia
caminando por esta calle, el chico venía detrás, lo empujaron y el
cayó sobre ella, y ese fue el momento que aprovechó el ladrón para
quitarle el bolso.

Accused: Did it already see? I did not doanything.


Acusado: ¿Ya vio? Yo no hice nada.

(Intrigued) police officer: and if this isnot the thief: who stole the lady?
Policía (Intrigado): y si este no es el ladrón ¿quién robó a la señora?

The thief begins to walk slowly of backtrying to flee, but the witness speaksquickly.
El ladrón comienza a caminar despacio de espalda tratando de huir,
pero la testigo habla rápidamente.

Witness (indicating the thief): He waswho stole the purse of the lady.
Testigo (señalando al ladrón): Él fue quien robo el bolso de la señora.

The police officer releases the accusedand takes the thief as the arm pushingit to take it to
the jail.
Policía: Pues, si este es el ladrón, cada uno que pague sus errores,
quedas arrestado

Police officer: So, if this is the thief, each one who pays its errors, you remain brave.
The police officer takes the thief, and theaccused is grateful to the witness forhaving saved
it.
El policía se lleva al ladrón, y el acusado agradece a la testigo por
haberlo salvado.

Introducción: En una calle de la ciudad camina una señora, detrás

ACTO ÚNICO

Señora (al sentir que el culpado cae sobre ella): ¡Auxilio!, me han
robado.

Culpado (tratando de ayudarla): Disculpe señora, el chico me empujo


al salir corriendo.

Señora (gritando histérica): ¿Qué chico? Me robaste, ¡policía! Me han


robado.

Culpado (asustado y tratando de defenderse): No señora yo no la


robé, el chico que me empujó le arrebató su bolso.

En ese momento llega un policía que estaba cerca, acompañado del


chico que robó a la señora.
Policía (muy serio): ¿Qué sucedió señora?

Señora (sin parar de gritar): Me robó el bolso Sr. policía, arréstelo.

Culpado (mas asustado aun): Yo no robé a nadie, venia caminando y


de pronto me empujaron sobre la señora, en ese momento la robaron.

Policía (tomando del brazo al culpado): este señor me dijo que lo vio
todo y que es testigo de que te abalanzaste sobre la señora y la
robaste ¿Dónde está el bolso?

Culpado (tratando de zafarse): No sé dónde está ese bolso, yo no


robé a nadie, soy inocente, señora por favor, usted no me vio
arrancar su bolso, dígale al policía que no me vio.

Señora (molesta pero ya sin gritar): claro que me robaste, arréstelo


Sr. Policía.

Ladrón (con tono acusador): Yo lo vi, él le arranco el bolso a la

Policía (decidido): Bueno ya no hay más que decir, te llevo a la

¡Señora por favor!

El policía toma al culpado del brazo para conducirlo a la comisaria,

Policía (Intrigado): y si este no es el ladrón ¿quién robó a la señora?


El ladrón comienza a caminar despacio de espalda tratando de huir,
pero la testigo habla rápidamente.

Testigo (señalando al ladrón): Él fue quien robo el bolso de la señora.

El policía suelta al acusado y toma al ladrón por el brazo empujándolo


para llevarlo a la cárcel.

Policía: Pues, si este es el ladrón, cada uno que pague sus errores,
quedas arrestado.

El policía se lleva al ladrón, y el acusado agradece a la testigo por


haberlo salvado.
