Dear Potential Sponsor,

We at Livin’ the Music would like to thank you for joining us in our mission to “make the world a better place, one song at a time.” Livin’ the Music was founded in September 2007 on the principle that music can, and will, change the world. We use music to bring light, love www.livinthemusic.com and hope to those in need. On August 7th, we will be raising awareness for The Lili Claire Foundation (helping kids with neurogenetic disorders such as Autism/Down syndrome/Williams syndrome/etc.). They will be opening the doors to their brand new center here in Nashville, at Meharry Medical College, around the 7th, so this event is key to their success in the community. What if you found out your child had been born, or will be born, with a neurogenetic condition such as Down syndrome, Autism, Fetal Alcohol syndrome or Williams syndrome. Keith and Leslie Litt Resnick know this feeling all too well. Their daughter Lili Claire was born on October 18, 1998, and soon diagnosed with a neurogenetic birth defect called Williams syndrome, which would result in life-long cognitive disabilities and medical challenges. Lili underwent an 18-hour open-heart surgery to correct a severe heart condition common to those afflicted with Williams syndrome. The surgery was too much for little Lili to withstand and she passed away at five-and-a-half months old. Although only here for a short time, Lili inspired her parents to create an organization to help other children living with similar conditions and to provide support services to their families. The Lili Claire Foundation provides behavioral clinics, sibling workshops and psycho-social counseling, as well as many other programs, all offered 100% free of charge to the families. These are challenging times for children living with special needs. State and Federal funding for research, special education and social services is evaporating. If not for the work of non-profits like the Lili Claire Foundation our most vulnerable children and their families would be left with no place to turn for help. Because of you, the Lili Claire Foundation has been able to deliver state-of-the-art genetics clinic, behavioral therapy and social services to children living with neurogenetic conditions in partnership with UCLA, UNSOM, Renown Hospital and Meharry Medical College ~ all free of charge! Today, they need your help more than ever. We hope that you will choose to support the Lili Claire Foundation’s important work by participating as a sponsor at our August 7th Livin’ the Music Event at 3rd & Lindsley, benefitting The Lili Claire Foundation’s Nashville Family Resource Center at Meharry Medical College. You have the power to make a profound difference in the lives of children living with special needs and the families who love them. Because of you, these beautiful children will have a brighter future. Thank you for your continued support! Music is the vehicle for the message. Please help us make the world a better place, one song at a time. With Light, Love & Hope,
