RULES & GUIDELINES:

There shall be one (1) representative of every participating SUC.

The candidates should meet the following requirements:

Bonafide student of the University/College.

At least 5 ft. and 3 inches tall (5’5”)

Good moral character

Articulate in English-Filipino.

Each candidate must register and report for rehearsals three (3) days before the scheduled sports and
socio-cultural competition.

Each candidate must prepare for the following attires for the contest:

College Uniform

Playsuit (White)

Long Gown (Filipiñana motif/Terno and Barong Tagalog)

Regional Attire (for production number only)

The following shall be contested categories and criteria for judging:

TALENT. Talent presentation shall not exceed three (3) minutes excluding entrance and exit. Usage of
fire and big props on stage is strictly prohibited. Skill talents rendition is encouraged but must not
endanger the candidate. It should be solo performance. Uses of back-up performers are not allowed.

Criteria for Judging

- Mastery and execution 40%

- Gracefulness and Certainly during Performance 30%

- Poise and Bearing 15%

- Audience Impact 15%

CASUAL ATTIRE. Sunday best attire id preferable

Criteria for Judging

- Poise and Bearing 40%

- Carriage 30%

- Beauty 20%

PLAY SUIT. White play suit is required. It shall be provided by every sponsoring institution.

- Poise and Bearing 40%

- Carriage 30%

- Beauty 30%

LONG GOWN (FILIPIÑANA MOTIF). Each candidates shall provide its gown

Criteria for Judging

- Poise and Bearing 40%

- Carriage 30%

- Beauty 20%

- Elegance and Sophistication 20%

INTERVIEW. Casual interview shall be conducted during the elimination round. The final interview
shall be to the top five (5) finalists only. One question shall be asked. Candidates shall be isolated so as
to allow the secrecy & confidentiality of the question.

Criteria for Judging:

- Articulation, Diction, Grammar 40%

- Delivery and Choice of words 30%

- Relevance, Content, Wit and Impact 20%

In the selection of the top five (5) finalists, the composition shall be based on the casual, play suit, gown,
talent and interview for elimination round.

In the selection of the title, garnered points during the elimination round shall be disregarded and back
to zero (0). Criteria for the final round are:

- Face and Legs 10%

Intelligence ———————————————- —————-50%

- Talent 20%

- Wit and Intelligence 20%

Ranking system shall be used to determine the winners.

Special awards shall also be given.
