A letter from the Director...
We hope members will enjoy the results of the ongoing refurbishing of the weight room and other areas in our facility. Watch for more improvements in this year ahead. Beyond the walls of our Decatur-DeKalb Family YMCA, progress is being made towards another historic mission of the Y. Our branch continues to collaborate with other organizations in our community committed to improving services to refugees, immigrants, homeless and other vulnerable populations. We are proud to offer programs for mind, body and spirit to people of all ages, incomes and backgrounds. Our staff and board of directors thank our members and friends for making this possible with their generous donations to the annual Partner With Youth campaign. We wish you all success with your personal goals this year and enjoyment along the way. Warmest regards, Bill McKoy Branch Executive Director

Partner With Youth Annual Giving Campaign
For some children, families and adults, the YMCA is the place they turn to for encouragement and support to accomplish their dreams. You can make a difference by volunteering for or donating to the Partner With Youth annual campaign. Partner With Youth is the largest adult program in the YMCA movement. Nearly 80 volunteers work together each year to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to participate in YMCA programs and services. In 2008, the DecaturDeKalb YMCA will raise over $195,000 to directly benefit children and families in the Decatur/DeKalb community. If you are interested in volunteering or donating to the Partner With Youth campaign, contact Stacey Stevens at ext. 3317.

YMCA Mission:
Your YMCA, reflecting its Judeo-Christian heritage, is an association of volunteers, members and staff open to and serving all, providing programs and services which develop spirit, mind and body.
