Items Discussed:

Education Strategic Planning Meeting:

We discussed the use of the word “entitled” as a negative word. It was used by one of the meeting
attendees, and I said it was probably a sense of learned helplessness. We talked about the assignment
to find resources for parents to add to the Schoology website. She said that there was no specific
quantity she was looking for. I asked if a description of the resource was necessary. She said that I
could probably put a couple of lines of description onto the resource. I will have a report to her by next
Tuesday.

Other Assignments:

I asked if there was anything else that I could do. We talked about a write up of observations. Also, I
volunteered to write a newsletter for the upcoming events for Transition students for the months of
January – June. I hope to have this to her by December 11th.

Internship Wrap Up:

I asked if she had a copy of the evaluation. We will meet at the end of next week to discuss the
evaluation. I will also have my evaluation completed by that time.
