Deck the Halls Gift Card Portfolio

Supplies (all supplies and product numbers are from Stampin’ Up!)

Stamp Set: Bells & Boughs Paper: Deck the Halls DSP Always Artichoke Card Stock Punches and Dies: Two Tags Bigz Die 115954 (use with Big Shot and appropriate cutting pads) Two Step Bird XL Punch 117191 120810 105199 121142

Ribbon and Embellishments: Basic Pearls Ink: Always Artichoke Classic Stampin Pad Other Supplies: Crumb Cake Medium Envelopes Sticky Strip Snail Adhesive Stampin Dimensionals TomBow Multipurpose Liquid Glue 107297 104294 104332 104430 110755 105219 119247

Directions:
1. Open up three Crumb Cake Medium Envelopes and align them facing the same direction and on the same side. 2. Apply TomBow glue to the flap of an open envelope and adhere it to the back of another envelope as shown in the picture. Repeat with the third envelope.

3. Once all three envelopes are adhered to each other, turn the piece over so that the openings are face down. Cut three pieces of designer paper to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 and adhere to the three large panels.

4. Using the flap as a pattern, trace the edge onto another piece of designer paper. Cut the piece out just inside the traced line.

5. Adhere the traced piece to the outside flap.

6. Turn the piece completely over. Cut three pieces 5-3/8 x 2 and adhere to each envelope in the center. Do NOT cover the openings.

7. Cut out various graphics from the designer paper.

8. Adherer the pieces to the inside.

9. Stamp the “Merry Christmas” sentiment in Always Artichoke ink onto the middle flap. Turn the piece over and stamp it again onto the panel closest to the flap. Close the piece if desired to be sure that you’re stamping it at the bottom left of the panel that will be addressed.

10. Cut three pieces of Always Artichoke Card Stock to 5-1/2 x 4-1/4. 11. Cut three pieces of Designer Paper to 4-1/4 x 3 and adhere to card stock.

12. Stamp the poinsettia image onto the top right and bottom left of each of the Always Artichoke cards.

13. Using the Big Shot and the Two Tags die, cut three pieces of Always Artichoke Card Stock.

14. Score the tags at the point that the Scallop Circle meets the straight edge.

15. Apply a piece of Sticky Strip to the tags on the straight edge and again next to the scored edge. (Sticky Strip should not be on the scallop circle side.

16. Remove the backing on the Sticky Strip and adhere to the Always Artichoke cards so that the scored edge is even with the left side of the card. Your gift card should slide right into the opening between the two pieces of Sticky Strip.

17. Punch out a bird and wing out of the Designer Paper using a Two Step Bird punch.

18. Adhere the bird and wing to the tag. Apply a Basic Pearl to the bird’s “eye.”

19. Slide each card into the envelope openings. Fold the Scallop Circle portion of the tags over the envelope openings. Label each tag if desired.

20. Fold the portfolio over and close flap over the edge. Seal if desired and address and MAIL!
