leadership styles and implementing the other contemporary strategies
My Leadership Style
The best suited leadership style in the new environment is flexible situational
leadership. My leadership style is very similar to the current requirement of the
company. I possess the style that can be adjusted as per the circumstances
arises, for example the new hired employee n e e d mo r e d i r e c t i o n a n d
g u i d a n c e a n d n e e d t o b e mi c r o ma n a g e d . S u i t wi t h t h e h e l p
o f i n d u c t i o n , t r a i n i n g , c o a c h i n g , a n d f e w mo n t h s e x p e r i e n c e , t h e
e mp l o ye e s t a r t t a k i n g t h e ownership of their task then my leadership
style will be more democratic where the leader gives minimum guidance,
and remains in the background. This encourages empowering employees
and open the two ways communication channel. My democratic
leadership style includes the consultation, participation and strongly believe in
open door policy that foster an environment in expressing their view, ideas,
suggestion, consensus in decision making. This facilitates cooperation, mutual
respect, and trust between the senior management, team and employees.
The leadership style helps to develop a feeling of responsibility and

The critical skill requirement in the company is the
m a n a g e r w i t h s t r o n g interpersonal skills. As a current sales manager of my
company I have strong interpersonal skills t h a t a s s i s t me t o c o m mu n i c a t e
v e r b a l l y a n d n o n - v e r b a l l y a c r o s s a l l l e v e l o f i n t e r n a l a n d external
stakeholders.
Technical skills
