Student teacher in a second grade classroom. Helped organize, design, and setup the classroom before the
school year began. Was responsible for leading Morning Meeting, several reading groups, transition times,
and teaching science curriculum. Lead and facilitated two “takeover weeks” which included planning,
consulting, implementing and reflecting on my role as lead teacher. Helped the lead teacher and special
education teacher to plan lessons, differentiate instruction, grade student work and evaluate their
understanding and progress.
