Narrative:
The start of our second grading was full of activities. We were
bombarded with lots of activities which we still manage to
surpass. At first, we had a creative reporting which was done
individually. Everyone of us were able to present our artist. Our
lesson was about National Living Treasures and Artist and I
can say that this topic really made it so difficult for me for it was
not easy to familiarize all of these artists. Nevertheless, we
ended this topic having ideas as to the life of some artists. Next
up, we were ten very busy preparing for our performance tasks
each section, those were the Hip-hop competition, cheerdance
competition, and photo exhibit. Our current topic is about
medium and technique, which honestly, I don’t have any idea
what this topic is all about. However, I am quite sure that I can
cope up to this lesson and learn what needs to be learned for
our upcoming exam.
Reflection:
To be reflective means to mentally wander through where we
have been and to try to make some sense out of it. I have
realizations for this grading activities one of which is that,
through our lessons, I realized that we have a lot of talented
Filipino Artists which are known not just here, but also around
the world. Their contributions have greatly influence and leave
an impact which gives us a better image among those who
knew where they come from. Aside form that, as a Filipino
citizen, it makes me proud that they are using their talents to
share and spread it to other people. Despite of having very tight
schedule, I am very glad that we were able to survive it and that
our bonds become tighter because of the memories we gained
again and the cooperation that everyone had injected for our
section’s pride.
Narrative:
I can say that the start of our second grading until now is
very busy. Everyone of us has a lot of responsibilities to do. As
much as I can remember we started this grading with each
student being able to have a creative reporting about their
chosen national artist. The lesson we had was about National
Living Treasures and Artist. While my classmates were
reporting, I was honestly concerned as to how we will study this
topic for our exam because it’s very long and there are a lot of
artists. However, we survive successfully and now our topic is
already about medium and technique. I am sure that only few
of us knows what these is and maybe mostly don’t have
knowledge about this lesson. Looking back, our activities for
the hip-hop and cheerdance competition really what made us
very busy in the past week.
Reflection:
While we were learning the new lesson, it was already
familiar yet some of the artists are not yet familiar, although it
was still great learning this. The activities we had were very
time consuming specially the reporting because we took a lot
of hours for all of us to finish reporting. I realize that it is not
always needed that the teacher should be the one to discuss
it. I am glad that because of the number of artists in the book
our teacher took the initiative to distribute it instead. Searching
about the life of my chosen artist made me know an artist more.
As a Filipino, it is our pride for those other Filipino artists who
were already known outside from our country. Their works and
arts really prove that our level is beyond limit. I learned also
that there are different types of artists and they have different
ways to express it. I am learning so much from this topic and I
would like to learn more about this and I also want to broaden
my knowledge in this area. I would also like to commend our
section for the job well done for cooperating in the activities he
had.
