Break-out Title/Topic: Frameworks of Psychology Resources Time
Bridge-in:
 Last week Dr. Jackson went over the main perspectives in Psychology. I am not
exaggerating when I say you need to know them! They are going to be a part
of every psychology class you take for the end of time.

Pre-Assessment:
 Is anyone able first off to name the five main theoretical perspectives?
 And if so, what they are about?

Learning Objective:
 You will be able to list all five main theoretical perspectives, and what each
one focused on (bonus if you can remember who created them too!)

Participatory Activity:
1. Break off into groups of two, each group will be assigned one of the five -construction
perspectives to cover. paper
2. Come up with a creative way to remember the name, and facts of your -coloured
perspective which you will then present to everyone else. You will each have markers
10 min to do this. A prize will be given to the group who engages attention -dry erase
best. board
3. Each group will then present to everyone else in a circle. -flashcards
4. After each group has gone, I will quiz everyone on the five main perspectives, -candy
what they focused on, and who founded them. -fact sheet

 Quiz on the information covered, with candy as an incentive for everyone to of

 Emphasize again why learning this information is important and they need to
remember it.
