hay también una diferencia entre el tipo de estructura de dos verbos que permiten: “would like” acepta únicamente la
forma de infinitivo (” I would like to go on holiday”/ Me gustaría ir de vacaciones), mientras que “like” suele ir
acompañado por un gerundio cuando hablamos de aficiones o pasatiempos (“I like swimming”/Me gusta nadar).
La misma diferencia existe también entre “hate” y “would hate”, “love” y “would love”, “prefer” y “would prefer”.
