Do you use i-STAT data management with the i-STAT System?

Select the appropriate use model

Select the Software Update File

Locate the Software Update File on your computer

Note: If a black window appears asking to overwrite files, 
answer (Y) Yes to all questions until the window disappears

Locate the JAMMLITE Utility on your computer

[A.5] Troubleshooting:

Check Connections to the Downloader

 Power and serial cables are connected
 Driver for DRC model downloader is installed
o Go to www.pointofcare.abbott/us/en/offersings/support/software-
license-keys/istat-system-software-update
 Full Administrative Rights may be required to install

Choose a different Communication Port

 Trial of all available COM ports may be necessary

Click the Update Button

 Proceed as per the instructions on Step A.3

Run the External Electronic Simulator

Analyzer Process Pathway:
• Power Button
• Menu Button  Administration Menu
• 3 – Quality Tests
• 4 – Simulator
• Follow the On Screen Instructions

Update is Complete

 JAMMLITE: Repeat these instructions from Step A.3
