Chocolate Gingerbread Rollout Cookies

3/4 cup cocoa powder
Ingredients:

2 sticks of unsalted butter {room temperature} 1/2 Tablespoon ground ginger

1 egg {room temperature}
1/2 Tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup molasses

3 Tablespoons melted chocolate chips

3 cups all purpose flour

Chocolate Gingerbread Rollout Cookies
Directions:

1. Layout the butter and egg to have them room temperature.

2. Combine the butter, egg, and sugars.

3. Add in the rest of the ingredients one at a time, and mix well.

4. Cover and chill for 20 minutes.

5. Lightly flour a clean surface, roll, and cut out.

6. Bake at 350 degrees, for 12 minutes.

7. Let cool, and pipe with frosting if desired.
