Dear Bellmawr Learning Community Member

,
One of the Bellmawr Board of Education goals this year is to increase communication with our
community members. These monthly newsletters will aim to accomplish that. The Board’s
reorganization meeting was held Monday, January 7th at 5:30 in the Bell Oaks Media Center.
Ms. Jody Mangus and Mr. Mike “Juice Williams were each sworn in to a new three-year term.
Mrs. Danielle Tomeo was elected President and Mr. Eric Hoban Vice President. I look forward
to continuing our work together and know we will have yet another productive year. Please try
to attend one of the meetings which are listed below. We always have a presentation which
provides information about the programs and services of our learning community. All meetings
are held in the Bell Oaks Media Center.

A new year brings with it promises of new beginnings for each day of the week, and for each
week of the month. I always use long winter days and nights to read some of my favorite
stories and books. I’ve included a list of the books I enjoy reading. Perhaps you will choose one
to read with your families each of the next few months.
January The Snow Goose by Paul Gallico is a short story about friendship
February The Snowy Day by Ezra Keats who doesn’t love snow?
March Oh Places You’ll Go by Dr. Seuss (in honor of his birthday, of course)
April Charlotte’s Web by E.B White a spring time favorite.
May Red, White, Blue and Uncle Who? by Teresa Bateman
The Stories Behind Some of America's Patriotic Symbols
June Gravity Falls: Lost Legends: 4 All-New Adventures! By Alex Hirsch

My new year’s wish to you is
Serene Sundays
Meaningful Mondays
Terrific Tuesdays
Wacky Wednesdays
Thankful Thursdays
Friendly Fridays
Satisfying Saturdays.

Happy New Year!
Annette Castiglione,
Superintendent of the Bellmawr Learning Community
