This project deals with the analysis and design of the

Auditorium of J.M.C.T. Polytechnic , Nashik with special
emphasis on Slabs, Beams, Columns and Staircase.

Analysis is carried out using Substitute Frame Analysis and

preliminary analysis of Beams is carried out using Moment
Distribution method.

Concrete mix used for the RCC members is M20 and steel
used is high yield strength deformed bars of grade Fe415. Limit
State Method is adopted for the design of all structural members in
the building.

The sanctioned plan of proposed auditorium was
obtained from the office of the college for the reference of quantity
and quality design of the hall which include the detailed knowledge of
design along with the estimation of particular item of each and every
part of the auditorium .It also includes the various dimensions such as
length, breadth and height of each and every wall of the auditorium.
The final designed plan was made.

Market survey was conducted to find approximate cost of

construction items of work which includes chairs, sound proofing
material , sound systems, Ceiling, fans etc. The whole data was
collected with the help of survey and D.S.R. and mentioned in the face
sheet and measurement sheet which later used to prepare final
abstract sheet. The aim of designing hall is that it should cover all the
