a. Pre listening-speaking:
1. Teacher shows pictures to the pupils.
2. Introduce the locations for each picture.

5 Holo 3. Pupils to talk about the pictures.
4. Encourage pupils to name the things that they can see and describe them.
Example:
TIME I can see a bench. It is made of wood. It is red.
10.30-11.30a.m. 5. Guide them if necessary.

b. While listening-speaking:
(60 minutes)
1. Get the pupils to work in groups.
2. Distribute a task sheet to each group.
3. Pupils complete the table based by writing names of things that they can see in the pictures.
4. Go through the answers with the pupils.

c. Post listening-speaking:
1. Get the pupils to work in pairs.
2. Guide pupils to talk about things that they can see in the pictures by asking and answering
questions.
Example:
What can you see beside the tree which is made of wood?
A bench.
These things move and have four wheels. Where can you find them?
I can find them at the car park.
3. For low proficiency pupils, teacher may give them question and answer cards. Pupil A will choose
one question and pupil B will choose one suitable answer. Pupils exchange roles.

d. Closure:
1. Teacher randomly calls a few pairs to role-play asking and answering questions.

40 out of40 a. 35 out of 40 pupils were able to talk about pictures by asking and answering questions.
