Adagio – slow
Andante - literally "walking", a medium slow tempo
Moderato - moderate, or medium
Allegro – fast
Presto, Vivo, or Vivace – very fast
Accelerando - (abbreviated accel.) accelerating; getting faster
Ritardando and rallentando - (abbrev. rit., rall.) slowing down
Rubato, ad libitum, a piacere: Tempo is at the pleasure or discretion of the performer.
A tempo - ("tempo one" or "tempo primo") back to the original tempo

Rhythm: Movement marked by the regulated succession of strong and weak beats.
Ritmo binario: Duple meter
