Year End Update 2018

Dear Friends,

I am writing to you as we finish out 2018, with a heart full of thanks for a wonderful year and
great expectations for 2019. Among the 2018 highlights were:
Andrea and Daniel's Graduation
•Andrea in May with a bachelor’s degree in Urban
and Intercultural Ministries
•with a minor in Psychology
•Daniel in December in Computer Science from the
University of Memphis

4 MSCC Graduates
•Melissa serves with her husband in his preaching
ministry.
•Layna is heading up our recruiting department
while working with her husband in youth ministry.
•Paul wants to start a crisis counseling ministry
•Gavin is a preacher.

New Students MSCC

•1 in January from Colombia.
•12 in August from Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas,
Arkansas, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Chile

Daniel's Engagement
•To Keyling Lopez, an MSCC student from Costa
Rica
•Wedding date: June 8, 2019 in Memphis

Venezuelan Outreach is the ministry of Brent and Yoisa Linn who served in Venezuela for 17 years as church planters. Brent is
currently ministering with the Mid-South Christian College in Memphis, TN as Professor and Director of Student Services.
And what is waiting in 2019?

We are hoping for some special graduations this year as our daughter Stephanie hopes to graduate
from Cincinnati Christian University in May with a Master’s Degree in Counseling and our son
Christopher from the L’Ecole Culinaire School of Memphis in March. We also have one
potential graduate from MSCC this May, Aesha Morris, who is currently the President of our
Student Council and Children’s Minister at Engage Church of Memphis.

I want to invite you to join us in prayer at MSCC as we have set a goal of raising the funds to
complete the new buildings (dorm and student commons), as well as the general fund.
