1) After discussion with the customer we were been aware of the fact that
the system is getting locked at our end but the communication is not through
as customer is only able to receive information but he is not been heard of to
the other end.
2) After checking the system I found that the SSPA IS FAULTY, which
comes on the transmission path. Henceforth customer is unable to transmit.
Transmission signal level measured at Antenna before feeding to SSPA. I
found that the power is -28dBm which indicates the signal coming from
system is OK. Hence SSPA controller which is showing “SEARCHING SSPA” IS
becos of SSPA is not funtctional.
4) the RACK from where power supply has been taken to SSPA tripped
and the person in station went near to the antenna , found some chattering or
ELECTRICAL sparking sound. And the the fans in SSPA STOPPED.
NEW SSPA FAILURE IF THE EQUIPMENT HAD BEEN FOUND AND TESTED
OK BEFORE TRANSPORTATION. Customer is asking for quicker response from
BEL as last time we have taken as long time say abut 14months or more.
Missile Brigade who is our end user and ultimate customer wanted about 20
phone lines to be given to there office as the part of the project. After
discussion with Mr. Guru, Mgr BEL, I talked with Missile Brigade Major Bijoy
and informed that he can extent the phone to his office which is more that 1
km. from our board.

After discussion with the customer we were been aware of the fact that the
system is getting locked at our end but no communication. AS per our
plan, instructed from Mr. Guruprasad, Mgr T&BS testing and DRDO Delhi I
collected faulty SSPA in unpacked condition. No packing material was
available with the equipment and no co-operation from customer in this
regard.
Taxi have been booked to carry the equipment which was 20-25kg and
voluminous of 2cft.

Went to market for ordering packing box. Making packing box of one
quantity and limited time restriction along with my unawareness caused me
to difficulty to search the carpenter and order for the box.

4) OTHER couriers are not company authorised. The insurance charge was
0.5% for repairing/old items against certificate and 2% for new items against
declared value. and abut Rs. 1800/- for transportation to Bangalore. Moreover
I did not have price of SSPA to be declared which I was supposed to be
informed by Mr. Guruprasad by mail. As per DGM, RO_Kol I should declare the
actual price of the equipment.

1) I Went to BSF SHQ. Found that the line encryptor was removed from
Berhampore-Kolkata leased line.

4) I went to BSF SHQ. Found that the line encryptor was sent back
from BaisnabNagar.
Old and trained staffs of BSF SHQ were transferred from BSF SHQ.
6) I Trained the operator for minimum BEU operation support for further
requirement and maintenance operation.
8) I Talked with BSNL SDE KhajuriaGhat BSNL exchange for line quality
improvement. He told his limitations for not to improve the quality.

I Went to Baisnabnagar for customer site visit and updation of line status.
