Iron Ore & Pellets

Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI)

Iron ore constitutes about 5% of the earth's crust. Iron is the most
abundant and widely distributed metal; about 98% of world iron ore
production is used in the steel industry.
Iron pellets are small balls of iron ore also used in steel production.
Steel is extensively used as structural metal in construction and
engineering projects because of its desirable properties and relatively
Our company supplies iron ores and pellets produced from cutting-
edge technologies by the biggest producers of iron ore in the world
from Russia and CIS.

DRI, also called sponge iron, is produced from direct reduction of iron
ore by a reducing gas produced from natural gas or coal at
temperatures below the melting point of iron (1536°C or2797°F). The
reducing gas contains mostly hydrogen and carbon (II) oxide. The
iron oxide can be in lump, concentrate or pellet form.
DRI is used increasingly in electric furnace steelmaking to dilute the
contaminants present in the scrap used in these processes. It has an
associated energy value in the form of combined carbon, which has
tends to increase furnace efficiency.
Our company supplies DRI which is relatively uniform in composition,
and almost free from tramp elements.

Pig iron is the molten iron produced from smelting of iron with coke
and a flux. Depending on the type of impurities in the iron ore different
fluxes are added, for example limestone is used for siliceous iron ore
while feldspar is used for calcareous iron ore.

source different types of Pig iron grades from top world manufacturers
and maintain a reliable supply at competitive prices. We help our
clients get high purity nodular pig Iron, basic pig iron and foundry pig
iron. Just tell us what you want and consider it done.

SiMn alloys are made by mixing natural silicon with manganese. They
are mostly used in steelmaking and foundry activities because of their
key mechanical properties such like toughness and strength.
Steels usually contain about 0.2% to 2 % Mn depending on grades as
Mn. In the specific case of stainless steel it can substitute expensive
nickel in some austenitic grades called 200 series.
Silico-manganese contains additional silicon which is a powerful
deoxidizer and which also helps to improve some mechanical
properties of steel.
We supply refined grades of SiMN according to customers' specific
requirements as nitrogen, boron, titanium and phosphorus are
elements which can be controlled depending on requested

Ferrosilicon is an alloy of iron and silicon with average silicon content
between 15 and 90 weight percent. It is produced by reduction of silica or
sand with coke in the presence of iron.
Ferrosilicon is used in foundries as a furnace charge and ladle trimming
addition to control base iron silicon levels. It is effective for the following
processes in steel making; deoxidization, degassing and alloying of steel.
Our company supplies the usual formulations on the market which are
Ferrosilicon with 15%, 45%, 75% and 90% silicon; the remainder is iron with
about 2% consisting of other elements like aluminum and calcium.

Ferro chrome is an alloy of chromium and iron containing between
50% and 70% chromium. The Ferrochrome is produced by electric
arc melting of chromite and chromium ore. Most of the world's Ferro-
chorme is produced in Russia, South Africa, Kazakistan which have
large domestic chromite resources. The alloy is mainly used as an
addition to iron and steel to improve hardness ability, corrosion
resistance and high temperature stability.
We supply different grades of Ferro chrome such as high carbon,

We offer high quality Calcium Silicon for use in the steel industry.
Calcium Silicon is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer used in the
production of high grade steels. The steel industry accounts for
around 90 % of global CaSi consumption. Both elements are powerful
deoxidizers, but Calcium is more powerful.
Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of
oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, and
ductility and impact properties of final product. Another use of CaSi is
protection of coatings cast pipes for centrifugal casting, in the welding
powder and pyrotechnics.
