Dance with My Father
Luther Vandross
Back when I was a child
Before life removed all the innocence
My father would lift me high
And dance with my mother and me
And then
Spin me around 'till I fell asleep
Then up the stairs he would carry me
And I knew for sure
I was loved
If I could get another chance
Another walk
Another dance with him
I'd play a song that would never ever end
How I'd love love love
To dance with my father again
When I and my mother
Would disagree
To get my way I would run
From her to him
He'd make me laugh just to comfort me
yeah yeah
Then finally make me do
Just what my mama said
Later that night when I was asleep
He left a dollar under my sheet
Never dreamed that he
Would be gone from me
If I could steal one final glance
One final step
One final dance with him
I'd play…
Before we start our lesson for today, let us all stand up and let us ask the presence
of our almighty God… Heavenly Father……

Good morning everyone!

Before we proceed to our main lesson discussion this morning let us have first an
activity in order for you to be energized so that you will have a lot of energy for
our discussion later and of course you’ll also have an idea of what will be our
lesson for today.

 I will group you into 2 groups. This column on the left side will be the first
group and on the right column is the 2nd group.
 Then, you to choose who will be your master or leader. That master will
serve as your leader or the one to lead your group into success. So make sure
to choose carefully your leader. Aside for the spelling master, choose also 1
representative per team to be the secretary or the one who will be writing
the answer on the board.
 The mechanics of the game is like this. The game is called “the butt spelling
game” in which your chosen leader will served as your “butt spelling
master”.
 What you are going to do next, the butt spelling master will pick out word
inside the box and spell out the letters of the word one by one by moving or
wiggling your hips or bottom (aka your butts). They have to guess one word
at a time. The other group who failed to guess the first word will have to
proceed to the next word.
 After guessing the first word the secretary will have to write their answer
on the board and proceed to the next word.
 You are task to spell out or guess at least 5 words in 3 minutes. First to write
5 correct words/ responses will be declared as winner. Remember, you are
not allowed to shout your answer. All you have to do is to write it on the
board. Fail to follow the rules will be subject for point deduction.
