Day 1: Weight: 150 Water: 24 oz Blood pressure: 112/69 Pulse: 65 Sleep: 9½ hrs. Symptoms: I felt very good during the first day as I have fasted many times before. My energy was good but I felt it subside as I approached the end of the day. My stomach was a little uncomfortable due to the shrinking but this was expected. I noticed that my back was aching slightly toward the end of the day as well ________________________________________________________________ Day 2: Weight: 147 Water:24 oz Blood pressure: 113/70 Pulse: 62 Sleep: 11 hrs. Symptoms: I felt some more discomfort in my stomach but only for very short periods of time. I was totally out of energy and very light headed when standing. I blew my nose a couple of times but nothing out of the ordinary. I received some light lymph massage late in the day along with some light energy work. I slept most of the day and all of the night. I did feel a little more energy after the light hands on lymph and energy work. ________________________________________________________________ Day 3: Weight: 143 Water: 24 oz Blood pressure: 112/69 Pulse: 69 Sleep: 9 hrs. Symptoms: I noticed I had more energy even though I didn’t feel like running a marathon. I also noticed that my urine burned a little when releasing. My eyes
The outside temp is 85 to 90 with a high humidity factor so being cold was a function of my body changing modes. I found my legs were bent toward me and I had to straighten them in order to relive all the discomfort. I felt pretty good and had enough energy to do ½ hour of sunbathing. it seems to diminish greatly during the morning hours allowing me to . (touching my toes) When I would get up in the morning I wouldn’t be able to bend over and touch my toes. I was extremely cold all day and had that same sharp pain in my lower back. ________________________________________________________________ Day 4: Weight: 141 Water: 24 oz Blood [pressure: 106/75 Pulse: 63 Sleep: 11 hrs. I know I have had a lot of discomfort in this area causing me to be stiff and not very flexible. ________________________________________________________________ Day 5: Weight: 140 Water: 36 oz Blood Pressure: 121/83 Pulse: 65 Sleep: 11½ hrs.wanted to close today more than yesterday but I didn’t seem as tired. This is the beginning of my first healing crisis and I’m curios how long it will last and what my body is telling me. It was sharp but not extremely intense. If I had a chiropractor adjustment I would notice the stiffness and somewhat sharp pain in my lower back. I did wake up a few times during the night due to the back pain. Symptoms: This is the first day past my previous record of three days. The back pain was still there but did subside enough that I was able to sleep without as much pain. However. The area was about the size of a coffee cup in circumference and directly over the lower back. I noticed that I had to keep my legs straight in order to relive the pain and give myself some relief. I was awakened at 5:00 am due to a sharp pain in my lower back. I was able to get back to sleep after finding that perfect position to relieve the pain. Symptoms: I awoke with the same back pain in my lower back at 5:00 am.
If I lay down I’m able to get into a position to keep it at bay even though it’s still present. the pain will completely subside after 5 minutes. Even though I’m no longer hungry. I notice the pain come back when I sit back down. I’m thinking that maybe the inflammation has reduced so much that things are showing themselves due to more movement. I even thought of doing a raw show once a . It felt good but was somewhat challenging. I had the most energy I have had in the last 5 days and even spent a few minutes on the computer. ________________________________________________________________ Day 7: Weight 138 Water: 20 oz Blood pressure: 125/79 Pulse: 64 Sleep: 11 Symptoms: I woke up with the same soreness/tenderness on the back portion of the roof of my mouth. I’m just leaving my body alone and letting it do its thing. I also notice that the pain in my lower back is not present until I get up and walk more than 30 feet. This did keep me awake part of the night but nothing to really complain about. It included some late afternoon sun bathing and a lot of rest. Today was my first shower. The newest thing I have noticed is the roof of my mouth is beginning to feel tender. I did some sunbathing late in the afternoon and noticed my lower back still shows some pain after I take the trip to the backyard. I seemed to drink more water on this day than the previous. I am craving the day when I can make my favorite salad. When I go sunbathe. ________________________________________________________________ Day 6: Weight: 139 Water: 38 oz Blood pressure: 111/76 Pulse: 52 Sleep: 11 hrs.fall back asleep. If I don’t move. I have been watching some of the food preparation shows and most of what is made doesn’t interest me. Symptoms: Day 6 was a good day.
I’m losing about one pound per day and looking forward to that first red grape that I will savor. I took a shower today and still have no energy. Thought keep coming back to me of when I watched a video from The true North center (Allan Goldhammer) people would speak of how they would have these bursts of energy and want to go plant a garden in the middle of their fast. I felt very good when sitting up and reading in the chair but had little energy when I had to get up.week as a special guest on Julia Childs show! Anyway. I re-read Paul Braggs book “the Miracle of fasting” during this time. ________________________________________________________________ Day 8: Weight: 136 Water: 20 oz Blood pressure: 126/86 Pulse: 64 Sleep: 10½ Symptoms: I noticed that I have become much more emotional that in the past. ________________________________________________________________ Day 9: Weight: 135 Water: 28 oz Blood pressure: 119/84 Pulse: 63 Sleep: 10½ Symptoms: I woke up with fewer sores in my mouth and waiting for the next layer of the onion to peel. I find myself becoming teary eyed when speaking of events or people close to my heart. The soreness in my mouth has subsided enough that it didn’t keep me awake last night. I have also read this in many other fasting books but it doesn’t seem I will be blessed with that bout of energy! Anyway…just day 8 of my fast. Today I stayed away from the TV all day until 11:00 pm. It was a good day ________________________________________________________________ Day 10: .

Jesus didn’t have a doctor and placed all His faith in His heavenly father above. ________________________________________________________________ Day 11: Weight: 134 Water: 56 oz Blood pressure: 115/83 Pulse: 67 Sleep: 10½ Symptoms: Just another day of fasting and no healing crisis at this moment. They seem to have no pattern or reason where they come from so I just let them come out and go with the flow. I having a challenging time getting to sleep at night. I may dwell on a thought anywhere from 5 seconds to 15 minutes. All back pain and sores in the mouth have completely subsided. However. I want to get more exercise but clearly don’t have the energy to go that route. I’m wondering what’s next?! ________________________________________________________________ Day 12: . The sores in my mouth have subsided completely and it’s another day under my belt. I feel somewhat tired and know it’s time to go to sleep but I lay my head on my pillow and thoughts from every part of my life come at me from all sides. It’s all I can do to get to the back yard for some sun bathing. This was one of the reasons I wanted to go to Dr. Whenever I Start to question what I should do and is it natural…I always refer to Christ and ask myself what He would have done and what was available to Him! Christ has water and sunshine in the desert so that’s what I’m sticking to. I usually place my head on my pillow and out like a light. My thoughts are that my hypoglycemia has something to do with the way my body is reacting.
I broke the fast with 30 red grapes and used a watch with a second hand so I would only eat one grape per minute. This same mechanism happens in a true water fast but there are no nutrients coming into the body. I did feel like I have more physical energy the last two days that the rest of the fast and I feel this directly correlates with the same time that my eyes and voice are being altered. That thought is downright scary in my book!!! However. My gut feeling (mans intuition) tells me that the fast is using some resource that has given me my voice back in the first place. The grapes were more than delicious and I savored every chew of these succulent fruit loaded with God juice. Today was just another day with no new symptoms even though my voice is still being challenged. This brings me back to the statement…”There’s a time to cleanse and a time to build” Day 13: Weight: 132 Water: 52 oz Blood pressure: 111/78 Pulse: 62 Sleep: 12 Symptoms: Since I started the fast at about 8:00 pm on Saturday evening I decided to wait until after that day so I would be in the 14th day. I’m not in a position in my life to go through this part of the experience and end up with no voice once again. I know there will be other times in the near future that will allow me to go through that experience which is maybe what I need to really kick this thing in the butt. This happened when I was juice fasting. When I did that 2 week juice fast which ended up being 9 days…I was allowing the pressure to reduce which allowed the inflammation to reduce throughout my entire body.Weight: 132 Water: 56 oz Blood pressure: 120/81 Pulse: 62 Sleep: 9½ Symptoms: I noticed that I started losing part of my voice today So I have decided to take it one day at a time with the intent to go for 21 days. I waited for ½ hour and then ate 15 more and had a bowel movement. The first part of the BM . It’s been getting more difficult keeping my eyelids open as the fast depletes whatever it is that allows normal function of my eyelids and vocal cords. Juice fasting has different mechanics that a pure water fast and van be helpful in some parts of the journey. During the juice fast I had the nutrients form the juice being assimilated directly into my body with very little effort.
2 hours later I had some watermelon to really get the juices going. I am truly convinced these were . I ate watermelon. In fact. I’m looking forward to getting my old sleeping patters back so I can wake up in the morning rather than the afternoon. causing my body to work harder to digest. The lower back discomfort has been reduced by at least 80% and I know that the next fast will dig in even deeper. This has been the best my eyes have been in a very long time and lasted for about one week. I spent 7 looong tears trying to relieve myself of many symptoms including the huge muscle spasms in my back. I’m still clearing my throat of a lot of mucus so I know I have some more layers of the onion to peel with future fasts. ________________________________________________________________ Day 14: Weight: 130 Water: 46 oz Blood pressure: n/a Pulse: n/a Sleep: n/a Symptoms: I woke up at 4:30 pm and started with water. My voice came back closer to where it had been and my eyes received immediate relief. my eyes seemed to become more taxed and brought me down a few notches. over the next two days my eyes became so good that I was able to look at another person with no abnormal blinking and able to walk without my lids clamping down. I remember during the fast that I would sit up and turn my neck to the left hearing this loud pop of my spine being out of place. This was due to inflamed muscles caused from several bouts of stress.was liquid and then the remainder was like a normal stool. Other miraculous healing were my lower back and all the muscle structure in my upper back. What I didn’t realize it that a lot of the healing takes place “after” the fast and can be just as important as the fast itself. a handful of red grapes and a small avocado. Additional facts: The very minute I started eating the red grapes I turned off the fasting mechanism and allowed my body a different type of rest. As I increased my food intake. I kept waiting for the healing to take place and was a little discouraged when the loud POP was still there at the end of the fast. Within a weeks time the loud popping had subsided completely and the muscle spasms (I called them rocks) were as if they had been melted away!!! I kept reaching over my shoulder to feel my upper back and had a hard time feeling the small muscle spasms that were once like huge rocks under my skin. I could easily touch my toes even in the early morning before any stretching.

Your answer is most likely that you have never heard a sermon on fasting and you should ask your pastor about this. Why is it mentioned 74 times in the Bible yet swept under the rug leaving part of God’s plan hidden from us. There are several movie stars who have learner the value of fasting! Fasting is one of the “missing links” in good health. Jesus Christ fasted for 40 days in the desert. Doctors seldom tell people this vital truth. If we are to practice all that is in the Bible then let us do . David and others (disciples) also fasted 40 days. lack of sleep. Dr. THAT IS NOT TRUE! Sickness and disease is not natural. If we go back to basics ( raw food from God’s earth and fasting) we will undoubtedly have great health. I would recommend not eating ANY cooked food and eat only raw/live fruits. Sickness is not inevitable as we are NOT programmed or designed to ever be sick! One of the biggest culprits of dowsing the fasting message is the preachers and pastors in the modern day churches. This is a rebuilding time and it’s EXTREMELY important to keep on resting and keep your food intake to low amount using ONLY organic foods. Kellogg and others -. This brings me back to the basic understanding that “nothing is really doing something” We are very good at slapping God in the face when we stuff ourselves full of man made synthetic supplements.. The most amazing part of this journey is the quiet after the storm. The cancer remained right where it started but she kept eating God’s great food and within a few months the cancer lost the war and is now gone. One of the reasons I wrote this a few weeks after was all the healing that really goes on. I spoke to someone whose wife had breast cancer and did an extended fast. The wart on my hand that mysteriously appeared a few weeks before my fast is almost invisible. Don’t get disappointed if you don’t see. I no longer have any of the loud popping and clicking in my neck when I turn to the left or right! The point here is that what you place in your precious body “after” your fast is so vitally important. Always remember that doing nothing is really doing something and God knew best when he designed this awesome miracle from within. I have felt muscles spasms that have plagued me for 10 years shrink to half their size in just one week after the fast. go on you journey of fasting even if it’s a 24 hour fast once per week. Eat great God food full of life and the laws of nature will kick in and show their delightful healing powers!!!
