children.

affected in this problem, therefore the standard of the child is very low, while both parents

may blame the home which the children desired to live.

Research Locale

This study conducted at Diplahan National High school since the chosen respondents

are the students of Diplahan National High school.

Subject respondents of the study

The respondents of the study are the selected senior high school limited students of

the school year 2018-2019 in Diplahan National high school

Sampling Procedure

In selecting the respondents purosive will be used by the research. The students of

Diplahan National High school, senior high school students.

Research Design

The researcher will use the descriptive design on the impact of broken homes

on academic achievement of students in selected high school students in Diplahan

National High school.

The researcher will use in answering the problem set in the study and is the

conduct of the research. This cotegorized as to the procedure upon which the

researcher collects and analyses the data. The researcher will use descriptive design

on the impact of broken homes on the academic achievements of students in the

selected high school students.

The two broad categories research design are the quqlitqtive research and quantitative

research.
Research Instruments

The research will use the questionnaire in collecting data for this study, which is

constructed by the researchers under the supervision of the teachers.

The questionnaire is divided into three parts. Part one deals with personal data of the

respondent, part two also deals with number of students from broken home and part

three deals with the impact of broken on academic achievememt of the respondents.

Introduction:

Home is the comfort of every children in this world. One of the most importan that

every children cherish every moment they spent on their family. Family is the basic unit of

society. It is one of the most essential components of a nation. Family is what every single

children deserve to have,but what If home is the reason why children being sad and lonely

that it can affect to their studies. A home is where the children can find family and family is

where the children can find love but since its broken , love is no more to be found broken

family is very hard situation to the children being affected by this problem. Especially when

the rank of the family is increasing and they don’t know how to manage it. They longed and

seek for a attention and hoping for unfathomable love from their parents. Broken home

occurs as a result of separation of parents either by death or divorce. Unfortunately for

children who find themselves in such a manners can been neglected by the fear groups and

society instead of being love and care.

Some of them being feeling jealous of other family who are complete and being happy

with their children. Some of them are thinking not to finish their studies because of their

situations. And if the parents did not give attention or something giving advice to their

children maybe it can lead fighting that causes of mis-understanding.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The statement of the problem is therefore stated thus, to what problem of the students

learning along with the broken family, that sought to the following question.

Question:

1. Does lack of parental security affect pupils or students?

2. Does lack of parental discipline of students affect the academic achievements?

3. Does lack of parental care, affection and love affect student’s academic achievements in

School?

SIGNIFICACE OF THE STUDY

This paper will identify the impact of broken homes affecting students academic

performance.The outcome opf this study may contribute something to the following.

Parents.This study wanted to inform them on what are the behavior shewed their

children in the school that they can help to their children and also themselves.

Students. They are the one who are benefited of this study, because they could help

their personalities to be positve and knowledgable enough of the result of academic

performance in school.

Teacher. This study to inform them that they will understand the students and find

ways to be patience the behavior of the students.

SCOPE AND LIMITATION

This study focuses in the student has involve in a broken family. The limit of the study is

the whole campus at Diplahan National High School.

The said place or location is selected based in nearness of its location to the researcher

usual to the chapter. It will look into the factor influences their choice.
